To answer the question NO, you don't save money! Its all about custom loads like, countryboy said. Every gun is a shooter with the right load. Factory ammo is fine in some guns but I have a 32H&R,and factory loads shoot a three foot flame out the Muzzle. Way too hot for a 70 to 80 grain projectile. I went with a 90 grain Hornady SXT with half the grain charge and loved the results
