Anyone know a place where I can watch the mechanic (through safety glass or at a distance) do an alignment and tire rotation in NoVA? Ideally, I'd like to get it done under $125. My brother had a problem with a mechanic at a Tysons repair shop saying he did a tire rotation although he did not do it (he marked a tire).

A person is allowed to sell up to 5 cars a year which I think is not unreasonable but it could be lowered down to 3 but maybe some people go through cars that quick, idk. I don't think the gas station is skirting any fees, the person that buys it will still have to pay the tax and registration on it. The OEM sensor was actually $25 and $40 for the install. Even though AAP said they had a TPMS programmer I could rent, when I got there, they couldn't figure out what a TPMS reset tool/programmer was or what TPMS was for that matter. I called a few AAP and AZ and they did not know what TPMS was and the one guy that did know said they didn't have it. I found a guy who did it for me for $20 off
