Stop feeding the made-up lax-brah troll. And "Jim brown", don't be a douche. Brown grew up playing lacrosse. He also knew how to spell it correctly.

They are not $8. Each student actually gets 1 ticket free with their GMU ID. The $8 on the ticket is probably there to discourage what this tool is trying to do.

You've probably seen bigger trophies in youth leagues because helicopter parents like you ensure that every little dick, jon, and steve gets a trophy just for trying. Who gives a shit how big the trophy is? It's the accomplishment that counts. Just look at the ncaa titles - a wooden plaque no bigger than a legal size piece of paper just wondering Wrote: -----------------------------------------

Saw the Robinson game and it was deja vu from last week. If it's any consolation for Robinson, they only graduate 12 guys and they are bringing back a ton of talent next year. They could be poised to look like the Rams of old next year.

Saw Chantilly-Robinson last week and was a little disappointed the game wasn't closer. Wilson fumbled twice in the second quarter which directly led to 14 Chantilly points. Once Chantilly was up two scores, Robinson couldn't come back. I imagine the rematch will be a lot closer as I don't anticipate Wilson giving up two more TOs. This week's game could end up being one of those where the team wi

Norton is swill. The best Norton product I've had is the port-style desert wine at Rappahannock. I would definitely suggest the wineries off of 66 around Linden, Front Royal, and Huntly for good VA wine. An hour or less from western FFX co. and better than the Loudoun wineries off 7 IMO. Namely, check out Glen Manor, Rappahannock, Desert Rose, Chester Gap, Linden, and Fox Meadow. As far as spe

I wouldn't sell the Westfield staff short. Graduated 40 seniors off a NR runner-up last year and came back with an undefeated regular season. Westfield 28-14. Oakton scored on the first drive of the second half to make it 21-14. Followed that with a drive that ended in a missed fg followed by another that ended in a blocked punt. Westfield was definitely the better team and made fewer mistakes, although having an undersized defense will catch up to them in the state playoffs.

The tenor of the Oakton-Westfield game will be determined by Oakton's ability to maintain possession. If they give up 4 turnovers like they did against Chantilly, Westfield will roll. If Oakton holds on to the ball, this game will be close. Westfield gave up over 200 yards rushing to both Tilly and Robinson and Oakton has a great rushing offense. If Oakton can't hold on to the ball, I've got Wes

Lee's starting RB (Jolley) was out. As dominating as Oakton's score appeared, I don't see them winning the Concorde. They can't pass the ball past 10 yards and when they run into their Concorde schedule they are going to have to deal with teams that have the personnel to spy Downer and Wandey.

Tilly destroyed Sparty in the second half. If Chantilly could figure out how to put a full 48 minutes together they could be dangerous.

Langley @ Chantilly was a great game. Lots of back and forth; Tilly scored with 1:30 left to take a 35-28 lead. Langley responds with a TD with just :30 left but a missed XP leaves the final score at 35-34 Chantilly.

Since we're speaking Henderson ... how about a real football post? LB is at Centreville first week of the season - any thoughts? Side note, the district reaignments are available and no one is going to complain that Stone Bridge is out of the Fairfax districts and back in Loudoun where they belong.

There are three unions: the FEA (NEA), FCFT (AFT), and a local one that I don't remember the name of. Considering that they are basically powerless in a right-to-work state the local one is the best value - dirt cheap and still offers malpractice (for lack of a better term) coverage. To my knowledge, the heads of the FEA and FCFT make a salary equivalent to their teacher salary when they were te

George Will theorized at least a month ago what I think is a likely answer, the Romney campaign decided long ago that releasing the tax returns would bring more negative attention to Romney than not releasing them. If I had to guess, the returns would show that Romney has paid a lower effective tax rate than many of the middle class voters he is trying to attract (Note: completely unqualified,

Take it for what it's worth because the poll was done by CNN but the negative ads are affecting Romney's image, especially with independents. Typical politicking though - if you are having trouble with your own record, trash the other guy to the point that he looks like a worse option than the status quo. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/08/09/cnn-poll-obama-holds-7-point-lead-over-ro
