I'm grateful you fellas keep up on the 'show' so I can know where to hop on when the ship sinks. Do you realize the freedom one can obtain from never having to hear Robbb and Oscarlita's fake girl laughs and Fatass talking about his bowl movements? Really, think of it.

Never been there. Never will.
But welcome. Enjoy the comedic musings of present and former TMOS listeners re. the show and its members. To coin a phrase, ball-busting. Wait, maybe I can't use that term.

If your happy about not listening be especially happy your schedule doesn't put you with your normal random computer time in sync with their "scheduled" show time.
during the audio vault Robb plays his tribute to Sid Caesar. In the live chatroom:
Me: didn't Sid die a couple of days ago?
Cant remember their name: yeah thats why your hearing this
Me: usually they do this the show after the death.
Crtn: unless they run out of time
Me: yeah that's what happened
Never a mention of yesterday being prerecorded in the whole show, the chatroom bunch assumed they just couldn't live stream it because:
Random quote from chatroom:"I waited from 10 to 1 yesterday and they weren't here but they did the show because at 1 the podcast posted".
In some things, drug addiction, over-eating, etc. denial is dangerous, in the fan club, the chatroom, and the show cast, it's a big part of what makes me watch and listen because it is Funny.
Most people slow down to see what happened when there has been a car wreck, but watching one happen stops you completely.
About 10 in Mike tells Robb to go back to they way they did things in the D&M days "don't do anything without being told" this after Robb screws the intro and cuts the music behind the opening commercial.
FF to 35
FF to 53 Mike has to give the word municipality a couple of starts, absolutely no mention of it by anyone in studio.
FF to 66 One of Oscar's entertaiment stories starts Mike about the O&A fued which he "just listened to the whole thing for the first time a couple of days ago" and states he was never proud of doing that kind of radio because there was too much conflict and the only reason O&A won was because Opie kept hanging up on Don. He somehow threw BOAD into the fued and was so worked up that after another Oscar story and commercial break he went back to it.
Total entertainment: 10 min
All times are approximate, there's no live show timer. Might have only been 6 minutes entertainment

Hahaha that's funny. How long has Robb been doing it?
Thank You for the funny synopsis, keep 'em coming.
They're great for those of us who just can't listen anymore.
Yes, Robb, don't do anything without being told...you "radio professional" with 20 years of experience.
Robb is clearly a stupid fucktard who couldn't even handle running a board at some AM-er in the middle of the fucking radio wilderness. At this point his only worthwhile contribution to humanity would be to sign an organ donor card so that doctors could harvest his corneas because the rest of his organs are encased in fat and scar tissue.

I really do miss Don regularly putting Robb in his place...Too bad Mike can't do the show without Robb, it would be nice to hear him really settle Robb's hash...

Is Mike listening to the old shows to figure out how he ended up doing a living room podcast?

Aww, why? Because your new visitors have brought up things you haven't considered (or just will yourselves to ignore), which makes you realize that the show is not as perfect as you'd like to believe?

Mike is terrified his dead-ender fans will discover FFXU, read what is posted here and begin to change their minds. The Failcast is North Korea. The more people cross the border into real world, the more likely LFF's regime is to fall.

Yes, today's show had some interesting moments for a change. The O&A story was pretty good (what there was of it).
But this is what got me aggravated: Mike started to talk about an incident he and Don had with Howard Stern. Oscar really wanted to hear the story, but of course, they had to stop so Robb could do his audio vault and talk about the death of Sid Ceasar.
Good judgment call, Mike. Do they really need to do Robb's stupid vault every single day?

This was really the bottom of the barrel. I don't know anyone who watches the local news or the Today Show, but they talk about both incessantly. Really putting the L in LFF. Keep rattling off the names of news and weather people know one cares about, it's great entertainment. It shows you get it.
That had to be one of the worst Rob moments in years. For the first time in a long time I was really interested in what they were talking about, the radio wars, and just when LFF was going to talk about a D&M Howard Stern story I've never heard Rob had to cut in with a tribute to a dead comedian no one under 70 cares about. Unless they're going to put up banners in senior communities they really need to tell Rob to pretend he's aware that pop culture didn't end in 1972.

You know, I just started listening to O&A's podcast recently. Wow. I heard the 'cast where they had King Rock the homeless guy in the studio. Long story short, Jim Norton ends up breaking the dude's guitar.
There is this 5 minute run where its just silence and the poor guy is just distraught. It ends with the dude getting a brand new guitar.
I was actually uncomfortable up until they gave him the new guitar. Then it was like...this is what actual good radio sounds like.
Compare that to the shitshow that is TMOS. Fuckin tame bullshit. At least O&A are interesting. Listen to O&A and then listen to the Blobb spout off about shit people haven't cared about for years. Fuckin brutal.

I got a big kick out of this little exchange also. So how is this going to work when they are not even in the same room after Mike moves? Mike will be unable to communicate nonverbally as with a glare or gesture. Looking forward to 'Full Florida Mike' on a regular basis. And did he also say that he was moving a month earlier?
So I cut it up and here are the interesting parts, I was going to put the part about Howard in but since it wasn't much I left it out and don't feel like going through it again. So this is Best of the FailCast 2-14-14 for everyone that can't stand to listen to the whole thing.

yep, there won't be any lag over skype to make it worse, right? I think the moving comment was more about the snow.

If you want to hear real entertainment (only 2 minutes of your time), go to iTunes and click on the Bob and Tom show podcast. Hit yesterday's 'Donnie Baker shares his thoughts on the Olympics.' Just 1:50 sec. Pure entertainment. Funny as hell.
I wish this show was an hour podcast, but since it is on the radio they only throw out a few minutes a day. Boy, it sounds good.
Today's show again shows why O'Meara is out of radio and doing a podcast in Manassas while begging his listeners for money. O&A can still do 4 hours of entertainment. TMOS can't manage 1.

On today's show I enjoyed the part where Mike got upset about Cary's comment about the snow blower and Robb instantly jocks Mike's balls and pretty much threw his wife under the bus to appease Mike, that was some weird creepy shit.
Not trying to be mean or anything but Robb is no doubt gay. Giggling and ass kissing the way he does it's just pretty obvious.

B&T is good stuff used to listen until the station that carried it here flipped to spanish.
Robb is just like Chick but Bob and Tom know how to deal with him and keep his mike mostly turned off.

Lamar said he never liked you. Said you creeped him out or sumthin. Then he went back to fixing the floor with my mother.
Ever notice the only time you see Mike holding Jr is when he is passed out or about to pass out? Do you think that's some sad role play Carla does, pretending Mike is a good dad when he's pretty much out of it?

I'm amazed he doesn't talk about his son more. Too much would be cloying, but nary a mention? Very strange.
I believe Mike has claimed that Jr is Carla's. Genetics, the law and societal norms be damned, it appears Mike views himself as a sperm donor, exonerated from any personal or financial responsibility for the child with his name who lives under his roof. Keep in mind, Mike rates himself as a 7 out of 10 as a father.

FDB talks about his kid all the time; all the restaurants they drag the baby to. Is it a dick move to say "we don't want the sling, give the two of us (and baby in carseat) a 4 person table instead." ? Taking up a 4 person table with effectively 2 people (though maybe they took a look at Mike and thought they'd make up the difference) while the place has a wait and then bitching about it seems weird to me.
Do O&A know that Mike was discussing the old days and saying they were intimidated by he and Don? I know Opie has called a truce but I can't think of anything I would enjoy more than a special edition of Jocktober featuring the Failcast. I think it is high time the Pests were called in to properly destroy this half assed PODCAST.
If someone told O&A that LFF had said they fucked their mothers in Times Square, at this point, they'd say, "Who?" Can't have a war with a fourth-tier podcast.

You're absolutely right, but I still hope it happens.
who listens to this guy anymore? who cares? he has never been very funny but I admire the fact he can pay some of his bills off the tiny chard of talent he might have...
Someone brought up the feud to O&A a while ago. They said it was settled and they pretty much don't care about it. I'm sure they have better things to do.
Come on guys. Get with the #tmos1000 like Mike said. Go to twitter and #tmos1000. I am hitting the hell out of it and promoting fairfax underground. Join me on twitter and give LFF som publicity. Everybody is money in his pockets.
1) Per Mike, there is absolutely no legitimate reason to go to a grocery store prior to a snowstorm in order to prepare. He states this repeatedly. None. Absolutely zero, zilch, nothing you need at a grocery store prior to a snowstorm.
2) Per Mike, it is entirely unreasonable and "emotionally immature" for a musician to be upset that his appearance on the cover of an iconic music magazine was displaced by the death of an actor. (NB: Mike's argument was not that Drake was disproportionately dickish in response to getting bumped from the cover of "Rolling Stone," but that for him to be upset at all was a mark of emotional immaturity. Mike's thoughts on the subject of "emotional immaturity" are possibly the unintentionally funniest moments of any recent show.)
I'm actually not sure what to make of Mike's fascinating discourse on the local weather coverage. On the one hand, he is a self-described "weather junkie," suggesting that he craves and seeks out coverage of weather events. On the other hand, he described the media coverage of snowstorms as a "manufactured phenomenon" akin to a conspiracy theory (though he was comically at a loss for a response when a bewildered Oscar asked who might benefit from such a conspiracy), suggesting he thinks there is too much coverage of local weather events. Consequently, the take home message was rather muddy. Other than "Mike thinks something sucks," but that's a given subtext of any TMOS segment.

Doubtful. The level of ass-kissing from his idiotic fat henchman Rob(b) will skyrocket for the 1000th failcast. I expect references to Michelangelo, Marconi, and Edison.
Hey, Mike kind of knew Edison...he was from New Jersey, which is practically in New England's back yard, so yeah. Mike was practically best friends with him, even though he's dead. Same with Michaelangelo, since their ancestors were both from Europe. At least that's how Mike will see it.

The best part is none of the failcast crew have tweeted about it. Not only that, but I just went to the MORE Broadcasting twitter and it hasn't tweeted in almost a year. They are the black hole of social media.
Congratulations on episode 1000! Who would have thought after 1,000 episodes, the krewe would be in worse shape personally, professionally and financially than they were in episode 1?

That would actually introduce some conflict in their product. A war between FFXU and TMOS would spike their ratings through the roof. I'd listen every single day if that happened.

It's a shame. I don't like this forum, but I do lurk here. Actually sent Mike a personal message a few years ago saying that he needed to hit Twitter hard. Twitter is a way the show could actually grow...FB isn't that.
Seriously. No tweets. This is going the way of the other listener initiatives already.

The fact that a few people on here talking about this thing is so large a presence on Twitter and the web shows the lack of effort from TMOS. Again.

The fact that they chose a segment of Social Media that they never use is typical TMOS half assery... Oscar hardly tweets, Mike just lazily links to ANOTHER social Media site and Robb doesn't have a twitter account...You can't make this shit up...
