Unfortunately, the same could be said for most podcasts. Everybody and his brother seems to have a podcast these days, whether they have anything to say or not. It doesn't stop them from thinking that other people will be willing to spend an hour a day listening to them.

I tried listening to Mickey's show, but soon gave up. I agree with the person who said he seems to spend every show asking his co-host what she thinks about him.

Wow, such a deal. Cough up $70 for a product that sucks, and probably won't even get delivered on a regular basis.

I've never been drunk enough to give these assclowns for their "bonus" content.

You know what I'd probably pay money for? An accountant's review of the books of the failcast. Comedy AND tragedy.

This great deal, after being told in December we would never see a price like that again if we didn't act quick. Something tells me 2014 is not going well financially so far. I guess people are realizing it not good and will get worse as the location split happens, I think this is why they took so long to announce it, hoping to sucker a bunch in to get the money before everyone knew Mike is moving. They rushed a lot before the move was announced: got new podcasts, one of which doesn't suck, got the "studio" in downtown, and made the trip to LV. The good thing about all of this is there will more to watch fall apart.
Anyone know if his house is for sale yet? I'd like to know the asking price, since it's an even more historic house now. Probably a couple million if they put a birthplace of TMOS plaque in the entryway.

What Robb does doesn't support a family because he is pretending to be on the radio. It's one thing to sit before a mirror, hold a hair brush to your mouth and pretend to be Casey Kasem when you are 12. It's a different thing entirely when you are 40 with responsibilities and doing essentially the same thing. And it shouldn't be a point of pride that your cartographer wife is working retail and STILL making more than you do!

The best thing Cary could do for her family is file for divorce. Then a family judge could actually force Robb to get off his ass and get a real job to support his kids.

If you look at Zillow or Trulia, there is nothing in his neighborhood that goes for anywhere near what he paid for that house. They have been saying April 1 on the house. It would have to be on the market by now for that to happen...unless that's the date the bank takes it over. Not sure how foreclosures work, but that's roughly 90 days from Jan 1.

How many times do you people have to be told. MOM is out of radio because of the suits and big corporations. It's not TMOS' fault.

Look at the other on air personalities that were on WJFK. They probably ended up doing podcasts in their living rooms too. The Junkies, O&A, Ron & Fez, Don Geronimo. And last I heard, Howard stern was doing a show in some ballroom. Probably no different than doing a show at The State Theater.

Once again. The MOM crew have talent and is a money making show. It's the state of the business that keeps them off regular terrestrial and satellite radio!

Excellent snark, sir! Just excellent.

Yeah, the failcast is so cutting edge and outrageous that the dullards at terrestial AND satellite radio don't see that LFF and his merry band of idiots are the future of . . . failure?

Here's a little clue: if Donnie G announced tomorrow that he would be appearing at the State Theater, just to tell stories and answer questions from his fans, anyone wanna bet that HE'D sell out the place, for real? The failcast is reduced to reducing theater capacity and practically giving tickets away, so they can pretend they're popular.

Mike's social life has deteriorated into going out to eat at a chain restaurant as a major event.

THIS is what they talk about over THREE segments on the show. Going to eat at a chain restaurant in a suburban shopping center in Northern Virginia. THIS is the "meat" of yesterday's show.

Robb is agreeing with every complaint Mike has about the restaurant, regardless of the validity of the complaint.

The restaurant has "taken away" Mike's opportunity to relax "with his baby" by FORCING him to wait for his text message that his table is ready.

Mike is a victim of the restaurant. He was singled out and personally treated badly by BJ's Brewhouse.

This week's shows were engineered to antagonize the fans and haters who post here.

- Loooong birthday segment. Do they actually plan for it to be almost 20 min? This is all you need to know about the show...no new person would listen if you described this segment to entice them.
- Dopple lists, or more.
- Mike asserting that he is a moderate. What's up with this line of bull??? There's nothing wrong with being left of center. This intellectual dishonesty infuriates me.
- Full Mike. (barely avoided)
- Mike being angry that people are drawn to dumb things that he is in fact drawn to.
- Land of suck.
- Meaningless advice based on his "restaurant experience." Train your staff.
- Sad adventures, to a chain restaurant in a strip mall.
- Yelling at somebody to laugh. Btw, shouldn't an off mic intern be quiet??? Train your staff.
- Big Potty
- Quality time with sad, unenthusiastic Pony. Seems like a nice guy, but he doesn't 'bring it'in any sense. Not his fault - it's the hosts' fault for forcing him on.

It's Friday. Can he sneak a gun control rant in under the wire???

I actually told several people last night that the new BJ's restaurant in my town is affiliated with the wholesale place, which we don't have. I deserve to look like a fool for repeating something I heard from Mike.

Ever hear any of the guys STILL employed at radio stations do 20 minutes a week on listener birthdays? Think that is just a coincidence?

20 min of birthdays? Talk about a crutch. LFF compares himself to Andy Kaufman? Really? Because LFF "gets" Andy? And loves that the show is not about giving the audience what it wants and that sometimes the show is not for the audience? Yet he yells at Jerry Seinfeld about doing the same thing one day earlier. Again, he refuses to do characters in the birthday segment, way to reward those fans who write the show, that'll build listener loyalty. Mike hates BJs and really hates the text option for when his table is ready. I predict that is where all those places are headed when LFF declared, "Mark my words, this one will not last." Such a moron.

The basement on the ground floor? Nobody wants to go to Robb's house...Can you imagine the smell?

Based on Mike's logic, if my wife gives me a BJ it must mean she works for BJ's Wholesale. The man has to be one of the stupidest people in Manassas, and that's saying something.

As for today's "technical difficulties," that's "Friday" for non-bar flies.

Did they not post a show a today? Oh man, Rob (that’s Rob with one “b,” Mr. Entertainment!) must have been pissy. With today being the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ arrival in the USA, I’m sure he had loads of fascinating Beatle soundbites to drop. By Monday, it will be old news. Speaking of which, I sort of get Rob’s Beatle obsession. I’m a huge fan myself (of the Beatles, not of Rob’s), and many (most) rock music folk will state their admiration of the Fab Four in some shape or form. But the Elvis thing is just weird. Elvis stopped being cool when he went into the Army in 1958. He had hits after that, but it was John Lennon himself who said that Elvis died when he went into the Army. When was Rob born, 1970 or so? Rob’s fandom for Elvis is like a teenage girl’s…but Elvis has been dead for 36 years and Rob is a grown man (I think). Very creepy. Come to think of it, when it comes to the Beatles, Rob has stated his preference for Paul’s work over John’s, has he not? That would be Paul, “the cute one.” Draw your own conclusions. I’ll just say that I’m guessing one section of the Spewak basement is now reserved for Bieber memorabilia.

Do dj's still do that, talking up a song so you stop right before the lyrics begin? To that degree and with that kind of voice?

Or is that something they stopped long ago?

Good point. I don't think anyone on the real radio does this anymore or has done it in decades.

If you recall, Donnie G. -- who, of course, was a top40 boss jock when such things existed -- would occasionally, on the old D&M show, talk up a record to show how it was done. The difference is, he knew how.

Have they kept on plugging the bonus shows this late into the New Year in the past? I thought it was generally a "through the end of December" kind of thing?

Also, is that price LESS than what the people who paid a few weeks ago paid?

It was $99.99 a week ago...Maybe "Mr. I know how to run a successful business" should take note that he just pissed off his core of paying customers trying to attract a couple more johhny come latelies....Of course those mouthbreathing mutants don't care...They get it...

I followed the lead of one of the creepers here posting Mike's daughter's twitter page and curiosity led me to check out her pictures. One pic is of a text convo that seems to indicate she has her stepdad listed as dad on her phone, which kinda made me feel bummed for Mike (even though he is a piece of shit)

Don't feel too bad. I also noticed that and did actually feel kinda bummed. Never been in that position, so I can't say I would act differently, but putting stepdad in your phone as Dad seems strange to me.

How hard would it be to can a few episodes for the inevitable days that the old fatass is too hungover to walk down the stairs (or down the hall once permimently relocated to his Florida fail shack).

And he was angry that the two establishments were not physically connected. As 1/8th of Robb would say, "Oy."

Next thing LFF will be told is that BJ and the Bear had no connection to BJ's Wholesale Club. I know, crazy, right?

I'm pretty sure Rob started his Elvis fascination as an intern on the old Don and Mike show. They used to do an Elvis death show and he most likely became an Elvis creepy super fan in an attempt to win Don's love and approval. But I don't ever remember him being allowed to approach the mic and participate. More evidence of his pathetic kiss ass existance. Damn, those were good times....

We all experienced the same feelings at some point. I turned when Buzz was shit on, shouted down, and belittled for not having completed a degree. I stopped loving the show that day. Welcome friend!

I agree completely. I used to dream about Buzz throwing the headset at O'Meara and saying "Let's go you fat mother fucker". But he was (and is) too much of a pussy. Even now he can't seem to take the smallest swipe at them, saying that he would rather take the "high road". It's just an excuse to avoid any conflict, pisses me off. And while we are talking about Buzz, does anyone listen to his podcast? I tried for the longest time but ultimately had to bail. It just isn't good enough to be a stand alone show. It needs to be part of something. I really rooted for him to succeed, and maybe he is, but mainly as a fuck you to O'Meara.

I never bothered listening to the Buzz podcast. I read the news online in the morning and watch the local at 6:00 PM, and national at 7:00 PM, so really don't need anothe 30 minutes of the same shit in podcast form each day.

Nice enough guy, Buzz, but not really a standalone product in my opinion.

LFF should record all the stories he's promised but has yet failed to share (e.g., his Full Mike at baby's first photo shoot). If there's no show, whatever the reason, the intern could play them. Downloads would spike.

Holy Crap, this is Kathy Lee level arrogance. As if we have spent ten years clamoring for these two to get around to clearing their respective schedules and doing us the favor of treating us to their combined brilliance.
