I'm guessing FDB has told Carla multiple times (he's definitely told the listeners) he's going to lose weight and get healthy. He continually does things that fly in the face of this statement, like eating and drinking uncontrollably. And feeding his gambling addiction. Combining those things, lying about it, and acting like it's no big deal is not A+ husband/father behavior. She's starting down the certainty of raising a child on her own once Mike kicks the bucket, and he's racing headlong towards that eventuality, taking as much of his limited income with him as he can.

Yet we all keep listening. I am guilty, I can't stop listening to this train wreck.

State Theatre can hold up to (max) 500 people.
But I believe that is with the balcony open. you start with 375 people when you sell that out they give you the option to release more tickets for the balcony.

So they have sold around 150 tickets.

If they don't sell 250 by a certain date the show could be canceled or they pay out of pocket and lose money.

The State Theatre has set aside that date and time for the Failcast show. I think the minute Pony Boy or whoever signed the contract, the Failcast became obligated to pay the State something whether or not the show is cancelled. It wouldn't surprise me if the State treats this as a private event, meaning the Failcast pays a set fee regardless of turnout or if the show even happens. We all know how good LFF is at reading lease/rental agreements.

This is what really irritates me about the show. There is a show going on behind the scenes that is 100000X better than the crap on the air.

As I am not listening, nor will I (unless something interesting happens again, like, y'know, Buzz's departure), but Carla is taking the baby to work with her? REALLY? - Hearing the way Mike snuck to WV this last time.
- Carla taking the baby to her workplace, when her husband is not working very nearby.
- 30 something Robb talking about all the ('fat person') prescriptions he's on. Blood pressure and all that - he's young! He's the same age or younger than the Sports Junkies! Bummer.
- Mike not letting his wife sleep for one hour after being up all night with the baby.
- Robb instantly changing his mind if Mike voices any disagreement.
- Robb and Oscar instantly consoling Mike and assuring that his bad behavior was okay. (Several big moments, like after Mike was slapped, after he hurt his knee, and maybe the golf tourney melee?)
- Mike getting slapped.
- Mike hurting his knee fighting.
- Quote, unquote "A suitcase may have been thrown."
- That time none of the gang addressed the suitcase incident.
- How RJ was treated while working for free.
- Mike declaring that he's quitting drinking.
- Mike's paranoia about his neighborhood bar scene and his assorted other encounters and stories related to that scene.
- Mike's speeches regarding starting a political party, with no apparent policy.
- Robb's specious backing of Mike's political party.
- Mike's inconsistent stories about the bar success/closure.

That's just off the top of my head. I can't believe all that stuff happened (seemingly in the background of an infomercial, or some other distraction, like the smart poster above said).

The partial list above is exactly why the "haters" can't stop posting here, on the TMOS site. and on Facebook. This is something special. This is a high concept Ricky Gervais project unfolding in real life. This is performance art.

I work in a small office owned by a husband and wife team, and he is called the CEO and she is the President. The next person in line is called the Vice-President, then there's me, and then...1 other person. No chance in hell Doni let's Mike back in. He had that chance already when Carmichael Dave was fired and he hired Steve Bridges instead. Doni would rather retire for good than go back with Mike. There's more bad blood there than either side will admit. Someone will hire Don and give him a shot. His contract with Cbs ends in June, so he may be taking some time off until then. It's also a possibility that CBS is working on getting him on another station, the whole thing happened very quietly and everyone involved in the show has gone dark since last night. Seems a little odd.

This almost tempted me into buying the latest bonus show, but I couldn't do it.

He calls his wife, and mother of his only son, out on the show simply because she's challenging him for being a liar, and continuing that behavior into the next day. What a pathetic loser. What a pathetic father. What a pathetic husband.

Ya they pulled his show...No goodbyes just gone....Sucks cuz Don's had them mess with the show so many times and always turned poop into pudding...wasn't crazy about his sidekicks but the production was always great..Everytime he'd get a good groove going they would pull stuff on him...Don was really getting himself back to where he needed to be before they pulled the rug....I really loved his show...he musta seen it coming a bit cuz he got that bite about him in the last days...Maybe they really didn't like him?...cuz they set him up for failure...it wasn't his fault...show was really getting better despite everything they threw at him....bummed out

I hope Don and company come back soon, I need something to listen to on a daily basis. I thought it lost a little something in July when 1/2 the crew was fired and he moved to mid-day, but I was still listening. It would be nice to have him back on with at least one of the departed joining Don, Drew and tiny Joe; in order of preference, Phantom, Slow Joe, then Craig.
Haven't listen to TMOS since July 3rd, because I realized I had not laughed at anything all year. I was a TMOS VIP in 2011 and 2012, but I stopped downloading bonus shows mid-2012; they were not funny and it was a hassle.
Enjoying this thread way more than listening to LFF. God damn he is lazy. If his kid is still alive in 15 years he is going to be like Walter Jr., "why don't you die already?", but I doubt he'll be around.

Dons show was growing hair....the old spirit was there....Drew was a stump...if Don thought that lump would bring the youth he was wrong...sexy voice tho ;) His show was getting really good...he wasn't afraid of going into the past...even went back to the heart of my bottom start of the show...really is a loss....Don was getting it going again after many many attempts to derail him...is there money in a podcast? ...cuz he might do well going there....He was smart and saved his coin ....so I doubt it will be about the money...but that boy got a ego I'm willing to feed :)
