Sorry for the huge image. I can't seem to stop myself. What a brave stroke victim we have here though. He can barely see out of his droopy eye, but he still tries harder.

They probably had a few hundred last year. I guess even a shittily rated radio show has a bigger reach than an 80th place failcast.

unhinged jaw posed the ?,"Any idea if anyone showed for the Poker Run?"

I went by about 1:30 p.m. thinking I'd hide amongst the large crowd. Perhaps they got a larger crowd later but I figured around 150 bikes or so. Seems a little light don't it? With the heat and sparse crowd I decided to pass cause LFF may have few talents but he's always scanning the crowd for non kool aid drinkers at his appearances. Wonder why?

all those media appearances and a light turnout

which still doesn't make explain of the State theatre thing which was 800 strong
where were these supporters this day

I'm not sure what's more pathetic. The fact that Mike whipped out the old failsteraunt sign in hopes of finding a purchaser.

Or the empty "Tips" case on the ground in front.

Is LFF actually trying to raise funds for a good charity, or get some publicity for what's left of his career? Because a motorcycle "poker run" isn't going to raise a heck of a lot of money. 150 bikes? Really?

The Edge was a horribly rated station and still had exponentially more pull than an "internationally known" Failcast. Yes, LFF did this to raise money AND awareness of the Failcast. My guess is he fell short in both fronts.

It's an interesting line of questioning from LFF and friends, guaranteed to result in nothing conclusive. Kind of like their quest to make the failcast a success.

Not enough for Mike to buy a new, larger bike to fit his flabby white ass.

Buzz and Oscar were no-shows on today's TMOS. Apparently after the Poker Run Mike went into another of his rages; they appear to have had enough of it. Socializing without becoming verbally abusive is now a rarity for the LFSF. Lazy Fat Sick Fuck.

No problem. I didn't make it much further, I think I'd rather put a screwdriver in my eye than listen to the "Mike and Marc Show".

It's telling that even LFF's favorite verbal crutch for describing inebriation is "Being Over Served" as if it were the bar's fault, or the whiskey bottle, or anyone's fault but his own.

I noticed that too. It's consistent with his history of blaming everyone else for his problems. After he screamed abusive shit at Buzz he claimed it was because Buzz "pushes his buttons".

He'll never take responsibility for his own actions.

Which is why he'll be a fat, drunken loser till the day he dies.

Speaking of which, WeightNot has to love those public appearances Mike's been making. What a great spokesman for a diet program!

Having bartended in college, you have no idea how many times some dumb, hungover girls would come up to me and say "You got me so drunk last night!!!"

No, bitch, you asked me for a "cheap, good shot" (they do not exist) and threw up on the shoes of the guy you were trying to impress.

Mike, you COULD make the show so good if you laid off the sauce for 1-2 days. Seriously.

Well, in fairness, bartenders should probably stop serving LFF once the other patrons start punching him in the face. As for the ligament in his knee, I'm sure his obesity, poor diet and lack of exercise did nothing to contribute to that injury.

Is that the yoga instructor they're all hot and bothered about? With all the build up, I expected someone less shemale-ish. Though Rob(b) does talk about Jennifer Love Hewitt more than any other female, maybe he has a type.

Marc and Lowell used to call into the D&M show back when they were in their teens. Marc ended up interning for D&M at JFK I think, or for TMOS, I forget which.

He was not an original member of the podcast, and came in to intern again a few months into the new format. He had never worked in radio aside from the internship.

IS MIKE SORCE LOOKING TO GET FIRED FROM CBS RADIO? One would think so after a PAINFUL and out-of-place first day for new DGS co-host, 85 year old Steven 'Sawdust' Bryant. Admittedly, Bryant verified that he has never been on a morning zoo show like Geronimo's - and it showed because this talentless old man's experience was on QVC pimping Ron Popeel crap. Bryant was more out of place than when his dentures fell into his blue plate special at the Golden Corral. Secondly, Bryant's uncle fester voice - your grandpa's voice and those ill-timed dumb jokes. Throw-in Geronimo's third wife's Janet's shrill voice on the same show and dogs flee Sacramento in masses - as do ratings. If Geromimo's going after the 72 to dead demographic market fine but CBS will ax his show faster than a member of the DGS staff now prepping the studio portable defibulator - clear! Electric shock delivered to the heart of three old DJ's - and this further dog of a show to keep it alive. My CPR malebag. Dr. Dave's rubber glove snapping on his DCRTV hand. The RealAHHHH (6/12/12)

Because (a) he was the mastermind behind the only good part of LFF's career; and (b) a lot of us wish he was still here. His Sac show's not bad, and you can listen online.

I downloaded yesterday's failcast, mainly to hear LFF's account of this weekend's activities.

He said -- he literally said -- that Rob(b) audio vault was "topical and fresh," and his favorite part of the show.

Wow. That's a powerful level of delusion.

I am now remembering why I don't listen often.

LFF, speaking of his lil' motorcycle ride for charity, referred to Fisher House as his "hand-picked" charity. Yeah, like countless charities are lined up for the healing touch of this douche.

Nigga please!! A "hand picked" charity?

What a cynical gasbag. His "charity work" is nothing more than an avenue for O'Meara to get PERSONAL exposure on various DC area radio and TV outlets.

When that no longer works, look for the LFF to downplay the Mother Theresa bit because he won't be getting any air time.

Geez, why can't this POS rear-end a WNC member so he can get the ass-whipping he's so clearly in need of?

I'm sure of the millions of dollars Fisher House raises from defense contractors like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, General Dynamics and Boeing, LFF's $4,275, or whatever it is, is "hand-picked" for special recognition by the Fisher House folks...NOT!

Mike did mention that some of the crap Rob plays is only interesting to Rob and none of the listeners care.

This is where Mike exposes how he sucks at being a show "leader". Mike, you know it sucks and nobody cares. Why let Rob keep playing those lame clips?

Mike O'Meara's funniest when he's not trying to be.

He started today's show with a Jack Kent Cooke impression. Seriously.

The funny part was when he followed it up by criticizing Robb for leaving a bunch of out-dated movie clips for Marc to play in his absence.

Maybe Mike could try limiting his impressions to celebrities who died less than ten years ago. That might help make the show a little more "current".

The show has been interesting. The guys can tell a story or have a conversation without Rob butting in with so called "funny", or racists comments or stupid "shannon in the morning" drops.

It's actually a nice change.

WTL, what say you? Was this goofing around, or will you give a serious answer to those who have questioned you as to what you meant by this? What did LFF say that makes you think he has theories about you, and that they are 100% wrong.

I fully understand that your reply about being part of the "krewe" was a pile of BS, but your credibility is being strained by your refusal to answer the above.

I decided to give the show another shot yesterday. I figured the worst part of the show and his audio vault were gone, so it was as good a day as any.

Awful. I don't think I laughed once. Oscar talking about hurting himself, OMeara trying to relate it to his own poor health, and don't forget when Mike scolded someone for not taking care of a sponsor that was "thier" account. Listening to weatherband radio would have been more entertaining.

I am just finding it hard to believe that nobody on the show just doesn't go off on Mike's hypocritical ass. For him to give shit to ANYONE on the show about not being "professional" at an event is beyond laughable. In the last 6 months, he has missed the Oaktown Wine Shop and the Community College appearances because he was too hungover. Not too mention, failing to show up for "work" when he was hungover in the bedroom. When Oscar was talking about the radio "code" and coming in when he wasn't feeling well and Mike totally agreeing with him as "that's how it should be" I wanted to reach through the U-Stream and slap his jowls. He's exhibiting Elvis-like behavior, except Elvis had talent (and money).

Mike often admonishes the crew and tells them to "not get comfortable." Or what? Is he going to take a non-paying low-tier podcast away from them? I don't blame Oscar - he is doing what the others should be doing; getting on with his life with a real career and treating the podcast as the hobby that it is. For the others to do this full-time and have it still suck is beyond comprehension. Each guy is only responsible for about 10-15 minutes A DAY. Seriously? Full-time? Stop wanking it and either put in some effort or pull the plug. It's like a time-lapse photo of a heart attack. I can see the arteries hardening, the blood slowing and Mike's corpse-like pallor, but nothing is being done.

LFF needs to see a cardiologist, if he hasn't done so already. Not a general practitioner, but a heart doctor. Given his age, his weight, his diet and his lifestyle, he shouldn't blow off something like an earlobe crease.

Besides, angioplasty or a triple bypass will actually give him something to talk about on the failcast.

Chad is turning into a monster. His friends are so scared of him that they concoct ridiculous lies just to get out of going to his mandatory social activities. He's a weird mix of Don and Mike. I think Oscar could check him, if he wasn't so agreeable. Besides Chad berating his friends again, BOAD turned in their first entertaining episode in months this week.

No, it's not just WTL. I noticed it too and was glad to see someone post a comment.

It sounds nutty but the correlation is there.

And Mike has the most pronounced earlobe creases I've ever seen. He needs to drop that weight and stop smoking soon of he'll be dead before he hits 55.

It would be a sad state of LFF's personal relationships if it didn't bother his family and friends. Truth is a creased earlobe is an indication of possible heart disease. It's been pointed out on this forum before, and we know LFF and the krewe read it. If he hasn't done so already, LFF should see a heart doctor.

Actually WTL is trying to do Mike a good turn here. This creased earlobe-heart disease correlation is straight-up documented.

If Mike does see WTL's post, he should heed it wisely, seek medical expertise, and do everything possible to mitigate his other risk factors as cataloged by HDC above. For his own sake, Mike must do these things.

For everyone else's sake he must ditch that crap podcast.

God. All you guys are pathetic. Laaaaughing, Four Hour Club, Fan since 1997, Unhinged Jaw. You are all completely boring. I hope Blob(b) gets back from vacation so I can be relieved of your monotonous drivel.

Did you hear Katie Forbes had to have her jaw wired? Hand to God. I almost fell out. Irregarless of what Oscarito might say.

sounds like LFF is off for a couple of weeks. He's Trying Harder! Must be heading to his florida grass shack. Hope he looks into that Ft. Meyers easy listening job

Does this mean we get to endure 2 weeks of Rob(b) sans any kind of control? Or maybe a fight between oskar and rob(b) will break out? Now that sounds like entertainment!

Watching lff on the u stream is interesting, not the content except for the bombastic stuff but lff has been on fairly good behavior. well he did say how D.C. folks are so self absorbed these days. something I agree with but for lff too say that, well you know! The Old Jewish Man Joke chronic had in the audio vault made me laff.

does katy forbes powers still work for WJFK? what's she do? ad sales or traffic management? guess no HFS festival no more so she doesn't have that on her plate.

This thread and Mike, and Mike's show, are really getting old.

If he was trying any harder he'd be in Arlington National with the rest of the Battle of First Manassas.

Two weeks! Vacation from something that barely exists anyway? I think I'll have to substitute the podcast for Dan Patrick show repeats.

Mike... Don... Art Bell and Howie made the right call. Do something else.

"I think I'll have to substitute the podcast for Dan Patrick show repeats"

I recommend the Nick and Artie show. More laughs in one night than several weeks of the failcast. Marc Maron good too.

But humor might be low on your list.
