Some fb investigation might just turn up a picture of him, if he hasn't been unfriended yet. I think Oscar fabricated the phone record part to save face. I also think he greatly regrets bringing this story to light.

As of now they are in couples therapy that Kara set up(according to Oscar).

Only person on Kara's facebook named Ben is also Oscar's friend so that isn't it.

I sort of think Ben isn't real and was just a way Oscar was trying to cover up the story enough so that people wouldn't know exactly what was going on.

Well, I decided to do a little cyber investigation into this matter myself and failed.

As far as I can tell Kara is not FB friends w/ Oscar anymore. His relationship status is unlisted. Regarding Ben, I would not expect him to be FB friends w/ Oscar(even he even existed) cause supposedly, they had never even met. He was a friend of a friend if I remember correctly.

I think the reason people don't seem particulary interested in this train wreck here is because it was so predictable and the whole topic has been discused ad ad nauseum(not that it matters here though, 112 pages of the same topic). It was already predicted that this would happen and aside from her looks, psycho-K is not a very interesting person.

At least 100 pounds overweight. I seem to remember him saying once that he was 5'8" but I could be wrong there. My guess is that he is at least 300 now. At his height and age a good weight would be around 175.

He probably does have health insurance though through his work which should last another couple months or so. I would imagine that his drinking and eating has gotten completely out of controll in the last couple of years and this is the result.

This could be Chad Dukes in 20 years if he's not careful but I think Dukes will actually be even fatter if he's not careful.

There's probably also an effort and motivation issue here as well. I mean for Mike to wear decent clothes he would probably have to buy a whole new wardrobe first and then spend time in front of a mirror getting dressed every day and I doubt mirrors are his very close friend these days.

Very kind of you to express concern (and I'm NOT being sarcastic).

I'm not sure why but the kind of weight he has, excessive belly fat, makes him a prime candidate for heart attack. Add his psychology, the free floating anger type, means he's a heart attack waiting to happen. But he lacks discipline and hates boundries, so it's hard to imagine him making a meaningful change. His dieting seems to last about five days, and then he spins out of control and binges. Sad, right?

I was not defending Mike. He is a fat bastard, that is obvious to anyone with eyeballs who viewed the pictures above. Dumbass. My question was how did he pull that? Mike is far from being a gold diggers dream. I never insulted mike's biggest critics a/k/a WTL and Youngdcian. I merely asked to see pictures of their partners, for a comparison. You have insulted them by assuming that their "partners" are not as attractive as mike's wife.(which is probably true though)

I don't know when Mike landed Carla but I'm guessing that it was probably at some point in time after Don left and before WJFK shit-canned TMOS.

Point being, that while Mike may not ever have been a gold-digger's "dream" it is my belief that there was a time when a young woman looking for an older man with money may well have viewed MOM as an excellent "score".

Unfortunately, for Carla, she just did the gold-digger/matrimonial equivalent of buying Enron stock circa January 2001.

Honestly I still hold out hope that he finds a way to have a decent gig that he can do his thing and do well. He'll probably have to change what his "thing" is and that doesn't seem to be in the cards but I still hope he does it. Thinking back I'm just shocked at how bad the show was. How did this happen? I understood it would be different from D&M, even very different, but it was so, so bad.

And yeah I wish he'd quit drinking, start eating right, and get some exercise because he's old enough he should be seeing and feeling the effects that lifestyle has had on him, and he's old enough where he just plain can't keep it up. I just don't see him changing anything. It's really very sad.

But it's still fun to make fun of him.

It's quite simple. Carla needs a "daddy", and the money was a bonus. The two lovebirds met well before Don left. In the picture of them from the charity bike ride Carla is standing in front of the motorcycle that Mike bought her. Yeah that's how he rolled, he also leased her a car, moved her into his house, provided her office space for her "business" and even helped out her mom. So that's what Carla saw in Mike, cash and stability, both of which are now gone.



Don't get me wrong, they do have similar interests, mostly smoking and drinking. That picture of them in Deli Depot is cute. Take a good hard look, would anyone see them and think they were husband and wife? We all know the answer, I don't really think Carla truly sees them as husband and wife either, it's more of an agreement.

Here's my idea of Carla's exit strategy...

1. Force Mike to impregnate her.

2. Stack as much cash as possible in her bank account. Since Mike pays all the bills, her income goes directly into her savings.

3. Leave Mike. Her prenup limits her cash-out potential in a divorce, but the kid puts Mike on the hook for 18 years. So this will force O'Meara to liquidate whatever he has left to satisfy the child support payments and whatever else she is able to extort out of him.
