She's singing in a studio topless and in her panties for some reason? The one comment is "...WOW... NOW THATS JUST SO HOT ......" How is this hot? What is going on here? I love naked women, I love boobs, and even sometimes the cover the nipples thing can be cute (here it is not because it doesn't appear natural), but this isn't what I call hot. How desperate do you have to be to find this picture "hot"?

In her defense, she does a lot of things topless...

Singing isn't one of them though. She did feel awkward having her picture taken, she's usually not wearing underwear for most of her photo shoots. As for the weird pose, I think she was hiding some bite marks.

p.s. I too, love boobs

I don't understand this image. It looks like it was made in the 80s but has a reference to the 50s. And it's not even a good picture of Kara. ???

Is Miss Kara a Fan Angel? If so will she be part of the festivities at Junkies spring Break? Or too soon after her break up with Senor Oskar to appear in public, she what you say is mending a broken heart? Does she still work at same place as Senor Oskar?

I'm with TMZ D.C. edition

Okay just for argument sake let's say the failcast is making money

but I don't get the purpose of the relatively new This Week in O'Mearica

O'Mearica stolen from Joe Ardinger's Joemerica and the concept of ancillary folks to a podcast chiming in with a bunch of twaddle is stolen from the Big O and Dukes podcast empire which frankly i don't care much for either. i want to hear primary talent not some underlings with mediocre to no talent babbling on. seems like these folks should be putting what creative powers they have into the primary podcast. that goes for BOAD and the LLFfailcast inc.

anyways why the need for TWIO? it must cost some money to produce and seems rather useless considering a good 90% of the failcast is useless twaddle and does not need to be rehashed

these dudes know they have little talent don't they or we got a case of overinflated egos with little brains going on here

Hell I'll just stick to Mark Maron and Adam Carolla podcasts and even Ron and Fez and old Hideout shows for my entertainment time and not numbnuts with shit for brains

thank you very much INDUTIABLY

What a pack of GADfries hey wait that's stolen too

TWIO exists for Mike's ego and as a reward to Marc Ronick for all if his hard work at securing virtually no advertisers.

Dumbest. Question. In. This. Thread.

Sounds like something Mike would ask. lol

Once again WTL proves that he needs to venture away from the computer in his mother's basement to see what goes on in the world.

NOPI has been selling performance auto parts for years and they use these NOPI Chics (note Kara's right boob) at car shows and such as eye candy, bikini contests, etc.

It was more of a rhetorical question. As in, "does this shit really serve a purpose?"

I doubt in this day and age a chick in a bikini sells more auto parts.

As far as "modeling" gigs go, it's got to be one of the lowest of the lows. You could literally throw any chick with a decent body into a tiny bikini or some tight top and some boy shorts out to your kiosk at some show and be all set. Dime a dozen.

No clue what a "gadfly" is but I did a little research. Apparantly, you are not the only one who noticed it. Several others did too.

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:m_oj6Gcn-o8J:www.dcrtv.com/mailbag.html+gadfly+don+geronimo&cd=5&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com

From the DCRTV Mailbag:

I have a daily routine of listening to various shows over the internet. Some are live, some are recorded. They all have the talk radio shock jock comedy leaning format. I am starting to think that they all also listem to the same shows because simaler content seems to pop up on the various shows that seem too far fetched to be a coensidence. Several weeks back, Adam Carolla did a voice of 1930's James Cagney type charactor making fun of the topic. The following week, Mickey, Amelia and Speigle and The Don Geronimo Show started having very simaler sets. I was listening to TMOS 4/28 show and Mike started calling one of the members Gadfly. Don Geronimo has been calling his Partner that for about a month now. My point is most of these shows will deny stealing from other shows and claim they are often stollen from. Haha. Somebody has taken a couple of days off of FFXU!!!

Chad and Drab got suspended for trashing Lavart over IM in the studio. If he is in fact back tomorrow it will have been a week that he was suspenened for. Drab t-shirt, or DUUURTEEE TEE-CHURT, as Lavar calls him, got nailed too but I'm not sure about when/if he is coming back.

edit:FatChad is back with LaVar today so who knows what that means...

From DCRTV

http://www.dcrtv.com/

WJFK Suspends Chad Dukes - 4/27 - Updated. We're hearing rumblings that WJFK afternoon co-host Chad Dukes has been suspended from the CBS Radio sports talker. We've attempted to contact 106.7 The Fan management, but so far no one's talking on or off the record. A WJFK listener tells us that Dukes posted this via his Twitter feed today: "Looks like I've got the day off, friendos." And then this: "It appears I am off again tomorrow. Thinking about checking out a bar here in Centreville for some day drinking. Who's in?" More: A source tells us: "Producer Drab and Chad were texting some inappropriate things about (afternoon co-host) LaVar (Arrington) to each other while they were on the air and LaVar found it on their computers. Chad is gone for one or two days and Drab has a week off." More as we hear it.....

Today's failcast (May 3rd) is more Mike bitterness against BOAD. Mike is sounding more and more like a cranky, out of touch old man. How on earth can this guy remain even remotely relevant when his comprehension of humor is officially pre-1995. (To be fair, Don and Rob(b)'s humor is stuck significantly earlier than this.)

I like how he took credit for BOAD winning as well. "If I had not given BOAD my blessing they would not have won". He also lashed out at Beau saying it's the Beau's of the world that voted against him.

Why would Beau vote for MOM? If BOAD hadn't picked Beau up he would have been out a job. Does Mike really think that people love him even after he fucks them over?

The person who gets 100% of the credit is Oscar. There wouldn't be a BOAD or TMOS if it weren't for him. So in a sense I guess he gets 100% of the blame as well.

I take it BOAD was voted best podcast?

That's pretty fucking funny. No wonder Mike is down. The chickens have come home to roost...and they are shitting all over Mike's drunken fat ass.

It's time for Mike to pull the plug on the failcast and start looking for greener pastures (at least more affordable pastures) in ratings backwaters like Pensacola or Lynchburg. It's really going to burn Mike's ass when he ends up in some BFE shithole after the way he busted Don's chops for going to Sacramento.

Mike is in a serious funk right now. He is a little too obsessed about things and not doing well overall. The magnitude of how far he has fallen and how it will be next to impossible to regain respectability is taking its toll. One thing hasn't changed though. He is still not taking any responsibility for the failures. He has a LONG list of who to blame for his failure. He has made some questiionable financial decisions as well lately.

And that's how you regain respectability. By blaming others for your failures.

Word to Mike, if reads this still. Even if someone is marginally responsible for your failures (and I don't believe that to be the case here), nobody fucking wants to hear the blame game. Grow the fuck up and do what's necessary to feed your family and regain some self respect.

Hell, when The Edge job fell into your lap, you should have told the failcast dumbshits "good luck" and put all of your energy into having a successful radio show. Instead, you treated The Edge show like a big fucking inconvenience with its "janitor wages" and "killer commute" that people in this region have been doing daily for decades.

At least at the beginning, but he fell pretty quicky. Problem is, he was unaware how far he fell.

Of course not, that is why he will continue to fail.

Mike definitely reads this - regularly. He might move off the blame game after a while, but it is full swing now.

Well, not as large a financial loss as those, but spending money on some pretty stupid shit even if it is just a small amount is not what a sane person would do if you don't have it.

I listened to the first like 3 minutes of the show today and found it really arrogant.

First of all, I think the MOM show won the prestigious Facebook pool for favorite iTunes podcast (one that had 0 restrictions on how many times a single user could vote) but MOM was still crowing about how his "blessing" merely allowed BOAD to be involved in the poll in the first place.

Even though it was largely shtick and to crow about how "powerful" he is (in an arrogant way), it was funny...Yeah because Oscar's going to choose the failcast over BOAD.

I really can't wait until CBS axes Chad (or his contract expires soon, right?). Chad will be pushing to get BOAD back on the air -- like he should have done in '09 -- and hopefully they'll get picked up in another market. Then LFF will see exactly where Oscar's loyalties lie.

Unfortunately, Chad appears to be going down the podcast road instead of getting on the grind for the terrestrial show's re-emergance (he's been reaching out on Facebook for tips on how to set up a home studio for podcasting). I hope Oscar hasn't been blowing smoke up Chad's ass about how "successful" Mike's show is and how "lucrative" podcasting has become. Chad has admitted that it was Oscar who got them hired in Phoneix and back at WJFK due to his work on getting out their show presentation packages to different stations. Oscar doesn't have the time now to do that again, so it seems like podcasting only will be the only way to go for now.

Yikes. Chad's already a FF, but if he's got some laziness in him too, this could be real bad. How could he not look at all the months of the MOMS podcast and figure that is not a viable avenue to get back into an actual paying job.

Unless you're Corrolla a podcast is not even an option to make a living- and even then he's got a much larger Q rating nationally than BOAD or LFF, which makes it worth his time.

Dukes is probably worn down by carrying Bumbling Lavar for a year plus and figures it'll be a nice break to be his own boss for a short period. Until he sees what his boss is paying him, then it'll hit close to home.

Unless you're a legend, the "guy talk, shock jock" radio style is dead, especially on terrestial. Sucks, but it's true. Guess the LFF's and Dukes' of the world have to go for that brass ring, but uhh, it's not going to end well unless something drastic and unforseen happens. Saddest of all for the taggers-along (Rob(b), Buzz, Drab) when they get pulled down with it.

I love it.

It has talk too but so much better.

The music stations are awesome.

When I need to take my wife's car I HATE local radio.

Just like TiVo. Once you have it you never go back.

I had Sirius for a year, about 5 years ago. Barely ever used it. Didn't work on cloudy days or on roads where there were trees overhead. The magnetic antenna scratched up the paint on my trunk, then broke.
P.S. I have never had TiVo.

How the hell did the failcast crack the top 20 on iTunes now? I was scrolling through the top comedy podcast on my iPhone and there they were at 13. Surely this number will drop off once these new listeners stop returning expecting comedy but getting a LFF instead,

Didn't they win some Facebook or iTunes thing for best failcast? Yes, they spurred some curiosity. But instead of rising to the occasion the MOM crew will put up their typical shit cast and quickly drive away potential listeners.

Personally I think to be considered top anything a podcast should consistently rank in the Top 20. But that's just me, I guess.

I agree whole heartedly and that's what threw me off. I'm always going through the top 50 comedy podcasts looking for something new to listen to. And I can count on one hand how many times I've seen them crack the top 50.... yea top 50. That's why when Mark would make the claim that they were "number one on iTunes" I'd be utterly confused. They are not even in Carolla's radar, Rogan owns them and hell even Chris Hardwick (of Singled Out fame) consistently maintain a top 20 ranking.

The #1 claim comes from categorizing each paid episode as a "comedy album." How often do real comedy albums come out? Not very often. So they would get enough of a bump due to the lack of competition to end up in #1 when a new episode went out.

If you listen to Carolla, he consistently backs up and explains anything that new listeners might not be aware of. Apparently MOM and crew can't think very strategically.

The comments on yesterdays show echo your point. Also the comment total jumped to 80 or so. roughly 4 times the normal amount of interest shown.I guess because of O and Ronick pillow fighting or something. One of the regular posters complained it was hard to listen to. Funny that it is anyone but the original cast creating interest. Still only around 20 or so regular posts per day. If the stupid I-Tunes thing was relevant at all it should be driving traffic to their web page, the show would be doing well and it's not.

Also, "The Big Duff" would be a sell out and it's not.

Also, Mike would be in a good mood and he's not.

and the show would be making money and it's not.

At this point, I'm just curious about when they will give up on the failcast. Buzz and Robb and LFF have nowhere to go, I guess, and plenty of time to not get there, so it may be a LONG time. But Oscar has a future . . .

From yesterday's show, it appears that O put something on his facebook wall to the effect of, "I'm the man for having 2 shows that did so well in this poll". Or something like that.

Marc gave O some shit about it and O blew up at him on the air. I agree with O that Marc is not a broadcaster and has no business being near the mic. Marc came off like an ass saying that he and O are equals. Maybe they have the same renumeration stake in the failcast, but they are not equals. Marc really should have just apologized and dropped it, but he has some drive to always be right. Just like the way he treated the person that asked when the pay episode was coming out a couple of weeks ago.

That was a terrible show to have after getting a bunch of new digital press. They really should have had an introduction show and pulled out all of the stops and have some great bits. But, LFF is too stupid / lazy to recognize the opportunity.

I believe, (unless the illustrious Dr. Robert is trolling) that you have misinterpreted the hand symbol that Miss KK is throwing in the above pic. That gesture is colquially known as the "shocker". It represents a sexual act and it is wholly unrelated to marriage vows, ring fingers, or other such nupital bric-a-brac.

Oh they are equal alright. They are both working on a shitty podcast in a fat, washed-up DJ's living room. It can't get more equal than that! Oscar tried to weakly justify his stance in the argument by claiming that he is a "broadcaster".

Sorry Oscar.... you are a podcaster now, not a "broadcaster" anymore.

Well its pretty obvious from that podcast that Marc is an insufferable douche. Somebody said on the show that "he doesn't take any crap"...aka, he's an asshole. That rave-out from Oscar was probably built up from a bunch of different things and he just pushed him over the edge with his comments. Marc comes across like the next generation John Normand, only his stand-offish rage is annoying instead of occasionally funny.

Been trying for over a month now, probably longer, to download the failcast from LFF.com instead of itunes. I either try to listen to the podcast at LFF.com or download from LFF.com. But whenever I try I only get a few minutes worth. Is LFF.com just providing samples of the failcast these days and trying to drive misteners to itunes? Or maybe they just don't care whether the podcast download works or not at LFF.com? I have slow connection and way to many other shows I'd rather download from itunes than the failcast.

For me, the advantage of going to iTunes to download (when I infrequently decide to listen to a particular show based on the show description) is, after transferring to my iPod, I'm able to listen at double speed. The show is much better at double speed, trust me (shorter for one thing, which is a positive)

Mike's servers have been severely targeted by hackers over the past few months and they're really trying to put the screws to him. They've basically declared an all out war against Rob Spewak and installed some serious rootkits across the whole O'Meara data platform. They've spent alot of time and money trying to get to the bottom of this so that entire podcasts can be downloaded, but some of these viruses they're getting have wreaked total havoc.

Didn't the same dumbass claim that Anonymous was trying to take down the MOM show? The same Anonymous that just took the PlayStation Network down?

Yes, the part-time code monkeys at MOM can stage a more formidable defense than the computer engineers at SONY. It couldn't possibly be that the MOM servers are just shit because MOM is trying to do this whole thing as cheaply as possible.

Apply Occam's Razor; which is more likely:

1. A international conspiracy of hackers, directed against the failcast; or
2. The failcast operators don't know what they're doing, and are doing a half-assed job.

You make the call.

More likely it is an MOM toady (RJ?) making up excuses for why the MOM servers suck ass. Mike believes the world is out to get him (we are no longer free!), and this just reinforces that belief.

+1000

The amount of cash he has spent feeding his ridiculous delusions is insane.

The sad thing is the number of enablers and lackeys that go along with his conspiratorial views.

+1

I agree, they'd probably get higher ratings if they just focused on Mike's humor instead of those other two.
