In the Michael Hughes era @ JFK, there really has been only one "success" which I would say is the Junkies survival, not success, in AM drive time.
The O'Reilly and Jim Rome fiascos, the canning of Ron and Fez, OnA (the latter with little or no support) are but a few of Hughes' disasterous missteps.
Overall, you have to look at the guy and say: What the fuck qualifies you for a decision making career in radio?
Couple day-time programming disasters and one very luke warm success with a total abandonment of night time and weekend programming give you...

It took Michael Hughes about six years to blow everything up in the wake of Howard Stern's departure, but he's succeeded!!
