I'm sure Cary has received a barrage of complaints about Miz from the bitches and tools among us; I wouldn't doubt, in fact I think it's likely there was a coordinated campaign behind the scenes................................. twas ever thus.

PS I am very curious to know the legal basis for a possible complaint against Mr. Misery, although I would certainly understand that's a subject Cary might not wish to discuss at this point in time.

I don't see a contractual basis, since this board doesn't require any kind of formal agreement to terms and conditions before posting.

Statutory basis? I don't see offhand how the Computer Fraud and Abuse act would fit (or to the extent it arguably fits, it seems like a stretch), unless there's stuff going on here I don't know about.

Virginia's harassment by computer statute? Well first of all, that's a criminal statute, so it would be up to the D.A. Second, what's "harassment"? The courts have only begun to define the meaning of that word, in contexts far different from what's in play here. (I think Meade would have a better claim against this board, under this statute, than Cary would have against Miz.)

The film revolves around Facebook and YouTube posts and emails from a "young woman" and her "family". Those of us who thought he was funny, engaging, and creative

at one time...we acknowledged him and gave him kudos..we encouraged

I never hated the guy, at first he was hilarious... But it was the same thing over and over again.

And I know for sure that he was up to more than just trying to be a funny shock humor type of guy.

But Alias accidentally posted here (more than once) while connected to a wireless router in one of their homes. They know each other by real name. Meade & Mr. Misery aren't the same person. Neither is Alias. But they are spawns of the same "troll family", from the Richmond area. It was Meade. Cary outed him as troll@aol. In one of trolls last posts, he ranted about Cary not removing offensive posts about a dead family member. Meade skeletons mom is deceased and people here had posted things about her while mocking Meade. Alias is Gretchen, which explains the ip address being the same. Misery was artistic, he could draw and spin a pretty wild yarn. Meade is a musician that writes his own lyrics. Too many coincidences to name. Misery was a prolific poster that had the time to post 24/7. He didn't seem to have a job, neither does meade. In all this posting, misery always commented on most threads here....except for the ones about Meade, which number in the dozens.

Meade is the ponderous and attention demanding Miz.

Gretchen is the artistic and sharp-witted Miz.

Both appear to be unemployed, so they have plenty of time to post.

Gretchen is an illustrator who won a Laura Branigan poster contest last year.

There are a few instances of Meade's voice being compared to Branigan's in some of the older threads.

Also, Meade's sister Bonnie is a web designer and appears to be pretty tech savvy.

None of them are married or involved with other people. I think this is their recreation.

The most damning thing would be to find photos of Gretchen with one of those dolls. That would be the clincher.
