If there is a record of them logging in from the same IP over a several month period then its reasonable to conclude they are same person. However its just once then maybe they did swap passwords for whatever reason.
2) I thought Troll@AOL was somehow linked to Freda Scorce death. I remember reading a thread where Cary claimed a troll was linked to that but maybe i'm mixing some facts up.

a couple of folks were talkin about getting a keg over at chuckhoffman's place and maybe makin some burgers and dogs on the grill and doing karaoke. I think Gonads & Strife was going to DJ.

I don't suspect the Freda thing though, because that's been written about all over the internet. Why single out this forum? Yeah, I stumbled onto this site not long after Fredas death because D&M were talking about a website that was saying horrible things about her death or something. Sometime later i read the excahnge between Cary and Troll@AOL and linked the events together.
Apparently I was wrong.
Why single out this website? Maybe because Feda was a Fairfax Resident, the Show was in Fairfax, etc.

Per her statement, Alias alleges she only used Miserables password the one time. IF that is the case, it could very well be that Cary's banning of Alias and Miserable through that one ISP is not why Miserable hasn't posted.
He's not stupid. He could just be laying low in order to hang Alias out to dry.
I am curious though as to why Cary simply doesn't remove the name and password and block them out of the system when problems like this occur. With the average troll this wouldn't do much good but for someone like Miserable? He's got way too much invested in his name to just jump to another.

That would seem to imply that we know this person by his real name, not his pseudo-names. And that would be a pretty short list of people who have either signed in under their real name or who have been outed:

yeah, the Freda thing happened in 2005, but TrollAOL guy was a 2011 thing. that's a huge gap and so many other death threads gave been posted during those 6 years.

I think Miserable recognized that the door has been locked and a chain wrapped around the door handles. He can go annoy the fuck out other boards.
