Should the US Government Be Allowed Warrantless Searches in Wartime?
We see this every time was are at war or "attacked." The US government declares a police state and then invades citizens privacy by imprisoning and warrantless searches.
My question is should the constitution be amended to allow for warrantless searches?

In time of war governments tend to do whatever they feel they need to in order to win, regardless of the legal niceties. Keeping things on the books though at least preserves the possibility that redress can be obtained when the war ends.

They were apparently doing this before post-911 state of war. They saw the opportunity to cram thru laws to give them legal protection. The technology may have changed but warrantless wiretaps have been ongoing before 911.

You have to make it real easy for them to notice terrorists. They don't care if you visit real Al Qaeda web sites, only the ones set up by the FBI and CIA.

Ummm, where have you idiots been? With Obama's NDAA and under Obamacare federal authorities have the right to search your home at anytime for any reason. There no longer is a 4th Amendment thanks to fascist libs.

What the fuck are you talking about? You're an idiot. Hussein Obama was the first president in history to add INDEFINITE DETENTION for American citizens without due process. No arrest, no crime, nothing. Because of Obama LEO's have the right to take you and hold you for as long as they want.

Brandon Raub, an ex marine, was held without just cause because of Obama's NDAA. He was a 9-11 truther, just like Gerrymander2. He's bat shit crazy but he did nothing wrong and his constitutional rights were violated because of liberalism (aka fascism)

Just randomly? Without reasonable suspicion/probable cause?

Yes. Why are you asking? Are you hiding something?

So if the Feds get word that a wanted fugitive is hiding out somewhere in a certain neighborhood, they should then be allowed to force their way into every person's home, without any evidence at all? No thanks.

If the government has nothing to hide, maybe us citizens should have access to their confidential files and records? Sounds reasonable to me. Why shouldn't it go both ways?

Would you be alright with a federal agent waiting for you to head off to work, then poking his nose in your mailbox and opening the mail? What about coming over on trash day to search through your garbage can? No big deal I suppose?
