ALEXANDRIA (WUSA) -- Virginia State Police confirm one person was killed and three others were injured in a violent crash early Thursday morning.
Corinne Geller, spokeswoman for Virginia State Police, says the single-vehicle crash occurred around 2:41 on the ramp from southbound I-395 to westbound Route 236/Exit 3B.
The three victims who survived the collision were taken to INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Their Conditions are unknown at this time.

The turn onto Duke st westbound or Little River whatever it is called is sharp and there is a lot of concrete barriers. I think the car probably hit the walls somewhow and broke apart.

The driver of an Audi 8 that crashed so violently it was split in half early Thursday morning has been charged with DUI-related manslaughter.
Another man was killed, and two passengers were injured in the single-vehicle crash.
The Audi was traveling southbound on I-395 when it ran off the road, spinning around and striking a tree. The impact tore the vehicle in half. Authorities were called to the scene at 2:41 a.m.

Really? I cannot imagine how much force it take to rip a car, especially an Audi A8, completely in half. He must have been driving 100+ MPH and the amount of kinetic energy released in the collision must have been intense. Still, it says something about the car when three people escaped with minor, non-life threatening, injuries. More amazing is that one of them was in the back seat and ejected which typically equals death or serious trauma.

At least 68 people are murdered in Va by baby killing drunk drivers, hundreds more end up in wheel chairs for life. 40% of all drunk drivers repeat their crimes. So where is our law makers with their big words about protecting kids.

Also I have seen a car crushed in a rear end collisions in which the airbags did not deploy. The car was buckled up to the drivers seat. The airbags did not deploy as the front end had no damage.

Brothers and sisters, we don’t want you to be ignorant about those who have died. We don’t want you to grieve like other people who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and came back to life. We also believe that, through Jesus, God will bring back those who have died. They will come back with Jesus.

Bible verses that are related to death and the respect GOD wants us to have towards our deceased.
That is how it will be when the dead come back to life. When the body is planted, it decays. When it comes back to life, it cannot decay. When the body is planted, it doesn’t have any splendor and is weak. When it comes back to life, it has splendor and is strong. It is planted as a physical body. It comes back to life as a spiritual body. As there is a physical body, so there is also a spiritual body.

The word Islam is an Arabic word that carries a load of meanings. The main two are submission and peace. Submission: Total submission to and acceptance of the One and Only God (Allah) and His will. Peace: Inner peace (peace with oneself), peace with the Creator, as well as peace with all creations. It is through the total submission to the will of God that one reaches this form of peace. A Muslim is a person who believes in Allah as the One and Only God and in Muhammad as his last Prophet and Messenger.

When death approaches, the close family and friends try to support and comfort the dying person through supplication as well as remembrance of Allah and His will. The attendance is to help the dying person to iterate his commitment to unity of God.
Upon death, the eye lids are to be closed, the body should be covered, and preparation for burial takes place as soon as possible. The whole body is washed and wrapped in a shroud. Muslims gather and a prayer is performed for the dead. The body is to buried soon after the prayer. The wrapped body is to be laid directly at the bottom of thedug grave. The body is to be laid on its right side facing the direction of Makkah. A ceiling is attached to the grave and then covered with dirt. The grave is to be marked by raising its top level of dirt above surrounding grounds. A stone may be used to mark its location, but no writings are allowed. Buildings or other forms of structures are not allowed on top of thegrave.
The family of the dead has a responsibility to fulfill any debts he had as soon as possible. They have the commitment to maintain contacts and courteous relationships with close relatives and close friends. They frequently pray and supplicate for him. Charity, fasting, prayers, and pilgrimage is often performed on behalf of the dead. Visiting the graves is recommended for the living to remember death and the day of judgment.
