For some reason I find one of his most annoying habits is the desperate need to badger 'celebrities' with tweets so that they might reply to him. He even resorts to attempting to start a fight to just get their attention. It's pathetic because 99.9% of the time they just ignore his bloated ass.

I know Chad's "rant" got him a little bit off national attention.

Maybe he thinks he is just one "insightful", "controversial" or "provocative" tweet away from igniting a 'twitter war' with somebody the likes of Bob Costas, Vince McMahon or Dan Patrick which, in turn, could immediately catapult him to a national stardom allowing him to leave the daily grind of Lavar and Dukes behind.

Think about it, he could bring Sven, Creecy and the whole crew with him when ESPN or E gives Chad his own 3 hour daily show (broadcast both via radio and TV of course).

Over night Chad could go from the lowly spectacle of publicly trashing local (DC metro area primarly) fans for liking a certain TV show to being on the same level as the top dogs in the industry.

In all seriousness, Twitter is probably not a bad way for Chad to interact with higher profile people thus raising his own profile in the process by getting retweeted, more followers etc, etc...

But I guess he can also look kind of pathetic in the process if he's not careful. Especially if the "interaction" is all one way and amounts to little more than Chad trying to get some famous person's attention by annoying them.

In all honesty, that seriously is what he is trying to do. If he can't get attention by being nice he will then act like an outrageous dick to see if he can get attention that way and maybe fall into some weird limelight for half a second before everyone forgets about him again.

All Chad ever does is look pathetic when the conversation is, almost inevitably, one way.

Northman - About a week ago Jason Segel started a Twitter, which seems to be solely to push Muppet movie related info.

Apparently Dukes, who clearly is king of Twitter, notices and decides to start tweeting him about how "Forgetting Sarah Marshall was good, so I'll forgive you, but I'll have to show you how to do Twitter". Something like that. I think he made another sad attempt to get on Segel's radar before the end of the night.

Hey Zohan, we know you read this. Here is some friendly, constructive advice to pass along. Oscar, Drab and Chad will not grow the brand by filling airtime with Sven's gay adventures or Creasy's pathetic existence. The inside jokes will not win over a new listener and the lame content won't keep existing listeners who loved the terrestrial show. I miss the old show. I'm almost completely checked out of this one and if someone asked me about the podcast I'd tell them not to bother. Maybe I should revise my ITunes review to reflect the new reality of this show.

That was about right except he sent the message like nine times and all were along the lines of how Chad would do him a solid and show him how to use twitter since Segal obviously couldn't use it right. And of course Segal didn't car (and probably didn't run the fucking thing anyway) and all of chad's pathetic tweets went unanswered.

Did anyone get an "MInority Report 1.3"podcast this week as well?

Chad used to be good. Now he blows on the podcast and on the radio.

Radio people used to get away with stealing bits from each other when there was no syndication or podcasts. At least Geronimo was up front about stealing bits, "if you steal from me, you have stolen twice".

Dukes steals sayings, thoughts, feelings, anything you can imagine from others, tries unsuccessfully to pass them off as his own, then has to double and triple back on what he says because he does not understand the context other people use when it was said originally.

Find some new schtick (your word, right Chad?).

Looks like another beer commercial for Oakton Wine Shop is going to be the free "content" this week. I think it is time to cancel that iTunes subscription.

They basically do that same show every time Chad travels with friends. Or if he has people over for that matter.

"No one paid for anything", "Someone was 5 minutes late", "Someone didn't stay the whole time", "Someone didn't thank me enough", "Someone decided to hang out with their girl or their family". Dukes needs some friends that are adults with jobs, rather than guys who work dead end jobs and spend all their money on getting high.

I guess since Chad wanted some free beer this week, they decided to charge for it this time. Yawn. The whole subject is worn out as a free show, let alone charging extra. They should be embarrassed about putting out this retreaded content for a fee. I thought Dukes used to hold himself and the show up to a high standard, to the point where he beat himself up about it. It reminded me of when you were 13 or so and guys in your group of friends started realizing girls were worth knowing and some start going to movies with them or whatever. That would have been awesome, but no one would have ever seen it. The comment would have instantly been deleted and that "Dukes slurper" would have been banned at the flip of a burger.

Does anyone actually think BOAD receives money for these Oakton Wine commercials? Or is their payment just a tasting and maybe a few free sixers to feed Dukes' alcoholism, which can pretty much be confirmed if you follow his Twitter. I don't think a night goes by where he isn't drinking. I like beer too, but I might have 5 a week sans a night out. Dukes seems to polish that many on a Monday night.

The way Dukes is expanding, I'd reckon 12-14 a night, he mentioned how depressed he was about a month ago... only thing that made him feel better was beer and Xbox.

There is nothing growing about his audience. New people arent finding the show. You can try and fluff chad all you want it doesnt change the fact that no show hes ever been on has done great ratings. Lavar's name is the only thing keeping him employed at the moment as that show is terrible too. You look pathetic trying to say the podcast makes a ton of money. EVERYONE knows thats false. The live shows only ran half the year so it is not fair to extrapolate. $300 a month sounds low, but they are only "working" for an hour. They each made about $3 a minute for going to a bar, drinking all night and talking to each other on stage for 90 minutes. Can't beat that with a stick. Are people ignorant for going to the show or are Chad/Oscar/Drab geniuses for selling tickets. I think the latter.

Even if you double it to a full year theyre making 600 a month off them assuming people dont get tired of it when the novelty wears off. I never said its stupid of them to do it. By all means make what money you can off a product you have, but to act like theyre cleaning up off the shows and making tons of money off it is just not true

Who said or even implied that they are "cleaning up?" All 3 of them have day jobs for which they make a decent wage. They enjoy performing once a week talking about whatever the fuck they want to talk about. If I could get paid $600 a month to do something I enjoy - like telling you how fucking ignorant you are - I would be ecstatic. While $600 a month isn't enough to live off of by itself, for a 2 hour side-job it is significant.

You and your dukes cronie or dukes himself implied it above when you were "owning" the message board. Their brand isnt growing, its shrinking. Your math also doesnt account for any free tickets given away if even to family and friends of the 11 people if they each gave away 2 tickets your looking at about 10% of the crowd being there free. I suspect that they give away more than 22 tickets to their shows as well. What you missed was the bag of special edition Doritos lying on the floor next to the elliptical. You need your fuel if you are going to get a good workout in.

You would think such a fan of wrestling would want to be in better shape like those guys. He was inspired by MMA once, but his training for that lasted about a week.

Maybe they should have Drab fight someone else for a bit. Have him take on Zohan or something. I think it would be entertaining to hear Zohan take a beat down from old Drab T. It might be more satisfying that having it happen to "Batt", who was annoying as all hell on WJFK. The only person worse on there was BDK.

1. Not true anyone on the internet can make money off of anything. If you put anything up something will buy it.

2. Doubtful. Very very doubtful but you can just say whatever you want and theres no way you can prove it.

3. His wiki page is like 3 paragraphs that you or one of his friends made. Or he did it himself. Anyone that wants to can have one.
