Yes his wrestling show is on 106.7, at 1am on Saturday morning or 11pm Friday night. I cant remember what time I was coming home at when I found it channel surfing. Primetime radio slots right there

Wrestling is for guys that don't have their driver's license yet. I remember going over to my buddy's house and we'd watch DX's antics and play wrestling games on N64.

In the past Dukes has made it clear that he does not like DCRTV or the guy who runs it.

Self-obsessed Dukes not knowing about this site/thread? Impossible. Do a Google search for "The Big O and Dukes": After the show website link, the wikipedia, Facebook, myspace, itunes links...this thread is the first search result not directly related to the show in some way.

Just a quick take of mine on the terrestrial vs. podcast discussion as there were some valid points bought up.

My take is that the podcast should in most ways be better than the terrestrial show because they have the liberties to do what they want and it can be as long as they want and they can talk about whatever they wish. However, the problem is they dont do this, 30 mintues of a free show are dedicated to schilling for H&E, or The Live Shows, or RTH or any of the other myriad of projects they have going on. Then you have 20 minutes of hearing from Dan Creasy, Intern Peter or Sven. The free show then ends up having no structure or no real topic that brings people in. Drab is the producer he needs to do a better job then of driving the show but we all know that Chad would never let Drab tell him what to do (who remembers the classic Chad vs. Drab about ESPN coverage where he freaked out when Drab told him he was out of control).

However they dont take advantage for the most part of this format they have or have very infrequently lately notable exceptions i can think of recently would have been the Oscar tales (sleep over, Yankees/Red Sox)

And yes the old show was 20 hours a week over 5 days while this show is 2 hours a week. However, go back and look at the 20 hours they did a week how much would you lose to commercials in a week call it 2 hours. So now they are down to 18 hours, take out the last segment of the show they used to do as it was a throw away and that was about another hour that nothing was done so now you are at 17 hours. Add in guests (now i do realize they did prep for guests) calls per week and you have another 3.5 hours that come off of that 17 you are now down to 13.5 hours a week, add in callers to the show and you can easily take off another 3.5 to 4.5 hours and you get 9 hours in a week that they acutally had to do material and Chad has admitted in the past that for the last year of that show that it was topic driven by managment. And if you add in game shows and bench mark segments like Snacks they really did not cover or do that much originally to begin with.

So to me what we are all realizing is that Chad and Oscar really arent that interesting on a common level no matter how much they portray themselves that way. They cant discuss topics inteligently without it being prepped for them by management so this is now what we end up with. I like hearing about wrestling, frisbee and smoked meat as much as the next guy but that gets old as well. The really only interesting stuff now is to hear Dukes rail against something or to hear of what passing fad he will glom onto and to hear what Drab has to say.

Bottom line i go back and look at the podcsasts of the old show i still have and most revolve around Drab telling a childhood story, Oscar and Drab needling Chad (like the classic Flobots v. Who segment or Blues Traveller relevancy), snacks of the roundtables, cinemagics, segments with Jormand, where Cakes sat in and a few other good ones.

Yes this show misses callers and guests and games to play but what the show really misses is talent to keep it interesting, the curtain has been pulled away and Lord Dukes turned out to be a 5'7 315 lb ball of anger and hate and shame

He knows about this thread. Sven and Zohan brought it up and Dukes didn't sound like he was hearing something new. In an episode after that, he mentioned "a message board" talking about the show. I don't know of any others. There might be I guess. Someone should recreate the No Shtick Zone. I'll be the fat pizza boy who bans people for no reason.

Structure, that is exactly what is missing. Even with something like Snaks of the Round table, there is a structure behind it. most of the time, listening about blow and go's or some long winded drug dealer story are just not interesting.

Theres probably more like 20 minutes of ads per radio hour or more so they probably lost a lot of more time than 2 hours.

you do make a lot of real good points though. i believe their podcasts are just exposing them for what theyve always been and thats radio hacks. without other things carrying the show and producers telling them what to do their lost.

as much as chad loves to bitch about producers, hes god awful without them, hell even with them if its talking sports. while they were leading everyone to believe that the show was their doing, it seems the real credit for its success should have been going towards the producers.

the only thing id really disagree with what you said is about drab trying to take control. at this point he just edits the show, we all know chad is 100 percent in charge

He is definately aware of the site. He may not be aware of the level of vitriol that this thread has for him, especially in recent weeks (but I doubt even that).

I know for 100 percent certain that he does not like FFXU because I saw the nerd's reaction to it when I ASKED him on JustIN TV if he visited this site. This was back in Dec or Jan when this thread was almost completely pro BOAD (although there are many other anti-Dukes threads here).

So true. And he's the person with the LEAST to be bitter about. He still has a job in radio where he's on the air daily. You're right about 2008 BOAD, those were the great days. Also notice that we didn't need to have Rally the Horde or any other unnecessary spin-offs to keep people interested.

Its quite amazing that somebody would think that being on a podcast with LFF and co-hosting with Dukes would make them hot shit especially considering how affluent and educated an area we live in. I guess Oscar really does have a high. opinion of Mike still (and thus himself).

I actually agree with chadtheracist that the free show was good this week. I wouldn't go so far as to say that it was the best one yet (certainly not better than the free shows before reloaded came out in my opinion) but for the first time in weeks I actually found myself laughing out loud a couple of times. I still was only able to stomach about half of it though....

Oscar talked about his trip to AZ and how he met up with about 40 listeners at some bar. Dukes was surprised that Oscar still had fans out there and lamented that listeners tend "to love us until they hate us" (us being FD and Drab) and he had no idea why.

So Oscar was talking about how he felt bad that he had given a couple of AZ state listeners the brush off when they approached him. He apologized on the podcast and said that they caught him at a bad time as he was talking "business".

Dukes went on to berate Oscar for being RUDE TO LISTENERS. He asked Oscar how they ever expected to grow the brand at get back on air and that they were fan friendly and interactive and on and on.

At first I was waiting for Chad to bust out and say waka-waka and he may have but that was all I could take.

I closed out Media Player at that point but still I made it through about half the show this week and probably would have made it the whole way if not for the flagrant hypocracy.

That is hilarious. Dukes pontificating about how to "properly" treat listeners. I guess banning them and publicly trashing them doesn't count as "bad"?

The show I was listening too was from August and had a good 10 minute rant from Chad about how Sven should not spend time reading message boards. Apparently Sven spends a lot of time reading message boards and gets upset at what he reads. While this site was not named (of course), it was hinted at this site was a source of contention.

It's true the FatChad get's ripped on Extremeskins.com and I am guessing that was the site Chad was refering to when he complaine that 106.7 'follows a site that slanders me everyday' when he was bitching about them not following his wresting show. But I doubt Sven was referencing that site. Even though I don't read ExtremeSkins I can't imagine that people that post there care (or even for the most part, know) about Sven, Zohan, PisFishLine and all those guys.

I would imagine that most of the people who post there are people that know him from Lavar&Dukes as opposed to BOAD. This thread is very different in that most of us know him primarly from BOAD. I have searched the net and this is the ONLY place with any significant activity that talks about Sven, therefore I think it has to be what they were talking about.

My guess is that as far as Dukes goes, this site is probably #2 as far as the hate goes. ExtremeSkins is the only site that both, slanders Dukes and is followed by the fan.

DCRTV also has a good amount of stuff about local media and their 'mailbag' section from time to time has people email in stuff about TMOS & BOAD but Sven is rarely, if ever mentioned there, and there is no message board there.

If there is any other place like this on the net, I can't find it and nobody has posted a link here.

And ChadIsFat is right. I mentioned that segment here 3 months ago (the night it was posted actually) and it has been talked about a good amount on this thread.

As far as Dukes hate on the web goes it is (in my opinion):

1 ExtremeSkins (actually kind of funny stuff there)

I'm sorry you think this site is so powerful, influential and well known that everyone cares about it. Sometimes, despite the number of posts, people just don't give a crap.

Am I Chad? Just as much as the other 30 people that have been called Chad are or the 40 people who are all supposedly Mike Omeara. Honestly, this is a really fun site to talk about the shows but you are kidding yourself if you think much thought or attention is paid to it.
