But Gerund boy DOES have something to substantiate it. He's a "wealthy Sweet Spot retiree" and has 58 "awards, citations, honors, commendations & advance degrees". Just that is enough to substantiate anything he says. Just ask him, he'll tell you. But wait, there's more. Gerund Boy call you potty mouth names like a 5th grader and say you got "cooties" like a 2nd grader. And to boot, Old Pottymouth will remind you he ate at GAR or Santini's & let you know what he & his wife had. That's the "fact & reason" Gerund Boy replies with when you challenge him to show proof. He also reminds you of his overpriced baseball seats and "reserved" parking spot. That's all Gerund Boy's "fact & reasopn" to substantiate anything he says. You just don't understand.

Well, the wife and her girlfriend group are lunching today in Front Royal. More details later. Meanwhile, it was a quite cool but mostly sunny morning here in the Sweet Spot where none of you all will ever be able to live. It was a mere 51 degrees when I got up, and it looks like we’ll barely get past 70 today. Ominous. We have five Nats games next week, so hopefully it warms up a little by then. Meanwhile, half the recent CT scans and all of the recent ultrasounds have now been reviewed. Nothing but green lights there, so we’ll redo those tests in six months. The rest of the CT scans will be reviewed and discussed in November.

Real President Joe probably can’t keep up with all the court cases and other bad news piling up against the Fat Boy. What a loser he is! Things are not going well for good old Pootie Poot either. Such a shame for both of them.

In other news, Jojo Gray pitched six innings against The Fish last night but three runs came across in that final frame, and we couldn’t recover from that, losing by a final of 5-2. Maybe we'll have better luck later when Erick Fedde faces off against Sandy Alcantara. Actually, we’ll need more than just luck.

Needier still of course is the sordid swamp of Falls Church City. They’ve been under-investing in infrastructure for years, with school bus traffic over the S Oak Street bridge now deemed unsafe, and it’s not the only problem. No repair plans yet, but plainly something will need to be done soon.

I discount your unsubstantiated claims because they are lies.

The fact remains that Falls Church never transferred 38 improved acres to Fairfax as part of the water deal.

You've offered nothing to indicate as much and none of the reporting mentions it. It is shit you simply pulled out of thin air. If you have something to substantiate that claim, feel free to provide it. Otherwise, let it be known that you lied.

Why was this 38 improved acre transfer never reported?

Neither George Bromley or Virginia Places mention a transfer of 38 improved acres from Falls Church to Fairfax.

Gratis?

And not one penny for infrastructure outside FCC (Halstead, Tysons II, etc.) that the City had installed in anticipation of extending its service area, which instead simply collapsed and disappeared.

Water systems don't have tanks, pumps, mains and such?

Where are these 38 improved acres? Why were they never mentioned in reports of the deal?

Off the rails? You've yet to say where these "38 improved acres" are. Until that is settled, anything else is off the rails.

Infrastructure is part of a water system. The system was transferred for $40 million and some valuable parcels of land. Just more shit you won't admit or don't understand.

Wrong again, Gerund Boy. They don't got nothing to say about no 38 improved acres what went from FC-FFXCO. But don't worry, Gerund Boy, everybody knows you think "b|c I said it" & juvenile potty mouth name calling is "fact & reason". Too bad for a drunken Gerund Boy don't nobody else think like that.

Wrong again, Gerund Boy. Of course you ain't gonna' show no links or no other proof. All you're gonna' do is give a buncha' lame & sorry excuses why you don't gotta' show no links or quotes. Then you'll call people potty mouth names like a 5th grader.

This is why don't nobody believe no Gerund Boy when he says about all this ed. he's supposably got. When you write papers in school, you gotta' say what your sources are & even say what page it's on & stuff like that.

Can you imagine a footnote on a Gerund Boy paper? He'd call the prof. names & tell him some lame trash about him "twisting in the wind" & how Gerund Boy read it with his own eyes & if the prof.'s such a expert, he can go look it up hisself. If Gerund Boy went to coll., we can be sure he flunked out writing papers like that.

Old Pottymouth just lies so much & even shows what a liar he is in his own words. That's why he's always putting his "big bad boot" in his mouth. Gerund Boy's such a phoney.

I’ve certainly already mentioned Halstead and Tysons in this regard. There are other locations as well that you should by now have found for yourself, just as you should have become familiar with the notion of ‘stranded costs’ and the fact that FCC was trying to escape its legal predicament by auctioning off the system to private entities. As part of that process, an appraisal was done showing the system to be worth as much a $53 million, leading the City to state that no bid below $44 million would be accepted. That position would of course be changed.

> Infrastructure is part of a water system.

That is incorrect within the context of this case. Had you actually read as much as you have claimed, you would have known that.

> The system was transferred for $40 million and some valuable parcels of land.

The value of the major parcel was diminished by a 50-year encumbrance requiring that the bulk of it be used only for educational purposes. A second parcel was used to create ten 55+ housing units, none of which has ever sold for any seven figures.

By $40 million in cash and Fairfax ceding to Falls Church land described by some as the most valuable on the Eastern seaboard.

When all is said and done, this deal towers over the $53 million estimate.

> The value of the major parcel was diminished by a

LOL! What you are either ignorantly or deceitfully leaving out is that the remainder not used for educational purposes will be a huge source of revenue for the city for years and years. In case you weren't aware, construction is underway on a community larger than Mosaic and part of that development is formed by the land Fairfax ceded to Falls Church. "While comparable to the Mosaic in geographic size, is expected to do considerably better overall because of its superior location, being at the intersection of a Metrorail station, the I-66 Interstate highway and the I-495 Beltway nearby."

According to all published reports, the facts are as follows....

Principal Terms of the Settlement
• Fairfax Water will purchase the Falls Church water system assets for $40 million. The City will retain debt and pension obligations of the water system of about $30 million. The City’s Utility assets, including three undeveloped land parcels located in Fairfax County totaling approximately 9 acres, will convey to Fairfax Water.
• Fairfax Water will acquire the City’s existing water supply contract with the Washington Aqueduct and become the retail water supplier for the City’s existing customers both inside the City and in the City’s current area of service in eastern Fairfax County.
• Fairfax Water will guarantee a uniform water rate for the customers in the City’s service area to ensure that City residents are treated equally to the City’s existing Fairfax County customers.
• Fairfax Water will offer guaranteed employment (terminable only for cause) to all of the City’s water system employees at comparable pay and benefits for a period of at least three years.
• Within two years from the sale closing, Fairfax Water will reduce the water rates to all customers in the City’s service area to Fairfax Water’s rates and will thereafter maintain a uniform rate for all customers, barring any extraordinary utility requirements.
• The City’s boundary with Fairfax County will be adjusted to include within the City’s corporate limits the three parcels on which the George Mason High School and Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School complex and athletic facilities are located, a connecting parcel at the intersection of Haycock Road and Route 7 (Broad Street), as well as several City-owned parcels near the intersection of Shreve Road and Gordons Road. The land transfer amounts to approximately 42 acres. Thirty percent of the school parcels may be used for any purpose, while the remaining portion must be used for education-related purposes for fifty years.
• Fairfax Water will meet twice a year with the City of Falls Church to discuss water system issues, and will maintain a payment office in the City for payment of water bills.
• The City of Falls Church’s pending lawsuit will be stayed until the agreement can be consummated, at which time the lawsuit will be dismissed. Fairfax County will not enforce its rate regulation Ordinance against the City while the case is stayed.

Everything I have claimed is supported by published reports. Your claims? Not so much!

And, let's not forget YOU are the one that fucked up which parcels were transferred

No mention of this "38 improved acres" you've droned on about.

Everything I have claimed is supported by published reports. Your claims? Not so much!

And, let's not forget YOU are the one that fucked up which parcels were transferred! Just one of your MANY blunders!

Didn't you rely so heavily on George Bromley? The problem is George got lazy and stopped reporting halfway through the matter.

We all realize that you make your claims based on pure bullshit that you fabricate out of thin air.

So, you concede you relied on George Bromley's works to make your claims. Is your autism forcing you to construe "halfway" as a precise point in time?

Your "38 improved acres" remains wholly unsubstantiated.

So it worked out to be another fine Sweet Spot day for certain wealthy retirees today. Off to a soothing pedicure around mid-day, then a tasty lunch at The Virginian in Vienna. Meatloaf sub and a cup of grits. Yum! Just one of The Principals was along though, as the other was stuck at home with the garage-door opener repair guy. Not a problem of course for those of us with an upscale carport. Busy week upcoming though with five Nats games in six days. We’re bringing back the Cat Lady to help deal with breakfasts and litter on those five days. What a wonderful resource!

How do you define it? By the way, people being diagnosed with autism are typically 75 years or so younger than I am.

LOL! More unsubstantiated bullshit. Hardly a surprise at this point. The autistic freak has never fully understood that his claims are easily dismissed with easily accessible images, links to undisputed data, or links to news stories. Not matter what the topic, he finds himself unable to provide any of those to substantiate his claims.

According to all published reports....

Well, as is ever the case, there’s an absence of diesel fumes and snarled traffic out here in the Sweet Spot today, but we do have moderate NW breezes causing shadows to dance back and forth merrily across the dappled greens of well-maintained lawns and gardens. Such a pleasant scene to gaze out over! The crisp air of autumn has taken over though, as it was just 56 degrees outside when I got up, and we’re only barely going to make the upper 60s later on. Not much humidity though and no real chance of any rain, so in the company of a light jacket perhaps, it should be a beautiful fall day, one that we’ll spend a good part of off at the other end of Wash Ave. we’re of course quite familiar with that route while others remain painfully clueless, something that they regularly do. Confused low-grade losers.

Real President Joe meanwhile watches as Russian unrest mounts over Putin’s Ukraine moves. Folks are fighting back there in ways that Vietnam protesters never did. Stateside, it seems that SS benefits will be going up (by a lot) next year while Medicare premiums and deductibles will be going down. Idiots will complain that this will fuel inflation. Sort of like putting out fires worsens water shortages. Dumb is such a burden.

In other news, the Nats got off to a promising 2-0 start against the Braves last night, but then all sorts of weird stuff began to happen over the middle innings, and we ended up losing 8-2. We’ll give it another shot this evening with Jojo Gray going up against Jake Odorizzi. The wife and I will be there. Scheduled to be Fri-Sat-Sun as well, but Ian could mess some or all of that up.

Already well beyond messed up of course is awful Falls Church City which ever lacks of any semblance of a proper city. Once of course there was a massive and regionally significant water system, but all of that was now long ago handed over to Fairfax Water, though some haven’t heard the word yet. Dopes

NOTICE TO REPUBLICANS MAKING RACIST COMMENTS ABOUT THE PHILADELPHIA WAWA INCIDENT

Obviously you don't understand. These fine young people were on their way to choir practice. Now everybody knows the choir singer's most prized possession is their hymn book. One of these fine young people who sings in the choir misplaced their hymn book. The other fine young people decided to help them look for it. Since the hymn book is the most prized possession of a choir singer, these fine young people wanted to make sure they left no stone unturned when they were looking for the misplaced hymn book.

Now that everybody knows what happened, don't you feel foolish about the racist comments you made about fine young people who sing in the choir?
