The correct answer is that the painters moved the cars and everything that had been on either the carport or the front porch so they could do their work. They also took down all the window screens and piled up all that stuff in various places around the now freshly-mowed yard. They’ll put it all back again when they are done, but that won’t be for a while Meanwhile, AAA did pick up the trash alright on Friday, but not the recyclables. They’ll be sending a truck over as soon as they can. If any of you slugs actually owned and maintained a home, none of this would have seemed out of the ordinary. But being members of the moocher/renter class only, you are sorely confused by all of it.

Another thankfully godless Sunday out here in the Sweet Spot that so many of these maladroit morons are simply unable to find. No house painters out here today and none at McHenry street either. The place there needs time to dry out after a vigorous power-washing, so the guys will stop by tomorrow to see what the story is. Actual painting is sure to commence shortly, but these things do need to be done properly if you want the best results. 66 and cloudy with some chance of drizzle this afternoon, but we'll let the painters make the call in the morning. We have a baseball break today and tomorrow, but then the O’s are in on Tue-Wed. Back-to-back games can be tiring, but we got through the two TOR games okay. Hopefully, we can do the same again.
