So the Nats came away with a very nice victory over the Braves testerday. Came with a pretty nice free soccer jersey. Also came with two of the worst trips in and out of town that we can recall. PRIDE events and Gaza protests had streets closed and traffic clogged for miles. Then the blinding sun was in our eyes the whole way home. We had no choice but to pull off and head to Pazzo Pomodoro for drinks and dinner. We both love duck, and since that was a special, each of us had it while sharing an order of Cacio e Pepe ravioli. Wow. On-the-house cheesy Tuscan flatbread and antipasto lollipops as well. With some well-chilled Pinot Grigio, it made all our troubles go away. Pazzo really is a wonderful place to play.

No, but there’s always one in the car to aid in safely reaching and returning from restrooms in places where people have been drinking. Saturday nights can pose a particular problem in that regard, but all went well last night, as we and our bottles and boxes were safely packed away into the car and then transported back to the beautiful (even if unknown to many) Sweet Spot.
