Just returned to the area and am amazed that this never was presented to the grand jury? Does anyone have any idea why it was not? Just look at the relative size of the two people involved and all the problems the husband has had through the years would be enough for the GJ to take a serious look at this. The Commonwealth's Attorney ought to be called to task for not doing his job.

I have always wondered what happened with this. So the husband just got away with murdering his wife? Wonder where he is now.

Sad that very few people mention their support of the family. Gossip about mrs Teague sleeping with teenagers in the neighborhood; mr vmi deserves prison regardless of future court proceedings; bla bla.

If you knew what the family shared with me, you would not share this overall premature conviction. Some people are more troubled than you know. Some people are happy until something changes drastically. Nothing like this can be explained rationally, and without any knowledge it's ridiculous to speculate. Dog walker seems to have a lot of opinions. Wonder why she or he feels so entitled to speculate. The easiest answer is often the right answer. The emphasis being often. The exception should also be considered. Especially, given certain details and explanations from children... Not shared with people outside their family and closest friends. For margies legacy, it's probably best to say the exception is the rule and leave it at that. Great mother and friend. The police probably want a conviction - mo trial tells you everything you need to know. Also. Who said it was his gun? Leave it at that.

Love the teagues, so sorry to see this 4-5 years later as the first link that shows up. People that truly know the family haven't posted until now. RIP Margie, god bless your family.

Well now that you're "Re-opened" the door, why don't you put this mystery to rest (at last) and explain what happened? This way we can all have closure, move on, and learn what we can from this.

Guess you never heard that children are placed in a compromising position when one parent murders another. They need to cling to someone, even if it's the murderer. He's the one still talking and telling his "version" of the event. The other's voice is silenced. How convenient, don't you think?

The short version is Don Teague is a loser and a bully. His wife became increasingly troubled by his behavior and wanted out of the marriage. She was just weeks away from leaving him when he found out and murdered her.

Happens all too frequently. Just check the local headlines.

Anyone who seriously thinks Mrs. Teague was the one responsible for this horrible act of violence (let alone "sleeping with teens in the neighborhood!!!) has rocks where their brains should be and deserves to be pitied. You obviously know absolutely nothing!

Six years ago tomorrow that Margie was murdered. The pain her family and friends felt then continues to this day. She wwas a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her legacy has been forever tarnished by the incompetence of the Commonwealth's Attorney's office, who did not have the guts to get Margie the justice she deserves. Instead Mr. VMI, IMHO, literally has gotten away with scot free.

You will always be loved and missed.

Then I think you need to be a little more educated before you make some disgusting comments like that.

Fairfax is a socialist country now.

Let's just arrest G2. Makes no difference if he did it. It's the will of the people that counts !
