Hot or Not: History Edition

Pick someone, from any walk of life, i.e. entertainer, someone of historical significance, etc., that is dead but was smoking hot in life. My picks for kick off:

Anne Morrow Lindbergh and Audrey Hepburn

Sophia Loren is still alive. My pick would be Jayne Mansfield, Natilie Wood and
Nancy Kovacs-------she was a real sex goddess, but did not gain much popularity, that was a shame.

Audrey Hepburn was classy hot. I like the iconic photo from Breakfast at Tiffany's:

There was Myrna Loy from The Thin Man back in the 30s. Great movie, too. Watch it. She plays the coolest wife you could have. Rich and loves to party. And hot, too:

If we were allowed to pick old but still-living, I would pick Claudia Cardinale, the Italian hottie from Once Upon a Time in the West with Charles Bronson and Henry Fonda. No hotter woman has ever been a western.

I don't think she was hot looking, especially the way people make her out to be so memorable. I will say she was extremely young looking for a 30-something in the late fifties and early sixties. Most people looked a lot older back then as compared to today.

For the longest time I thought she was overrated. She had the whole 50's makeup thing going on which isn't very attractive nowadays. But when you see casual photos of her where she's just dressed in her street clothes you can see how hot she really was.

I've always thought Julie Andrews to be beautiful:

Also,

Judy Garland:

Helena of Troy had to be a beauty, she influenced a War. Also, sadly I think Annisa Jones of "Family Affair" would have turned out to be a hottie, if she had survived.

Somebody mentioned Jayne Mansfield....wow.

From Wikipedia:
"Her smallest measurement was 40D (which she was throughout the 1950s), and largest at 46DD, when measured by the press in 1967. According to Playboy, her measurement was 40D-21-36 and her height was 5'6"."

Audrey Hepburn was NOT HOT. She looked like a boy in drag. How anyone could say she was beautiful is CRAZY.

30 something is old? Wow. I guess that means teenagers are middle aged!

But you're right, people did look a bit older back then... it had more to do with how they dressed and the hairstyles, not to mention the smokes....

Any way you slice it, she was 10x hotter than Audrey Hepburn. Audrey Hepburn is the most overrated beauty in history. Im sorry but the woman simply was not attractive.

They might have appeared older because of weight, women in the 50s and
early 60s were a little chubbier and plumb, look at their arms, then they were in the latter 60s till present.
