I used to think that too until we had an issue that FFX Cty, state attorney, etc. for 7 months got nowhere.. as a last chance, i delivered the same letter with proof to the town of vienna police (since we live in the town) and within 7 days, they scared the crap out of the other person who returned our money... threaten to arrest them etc...
town of vienna police is a legitimate police agency. i want to say it is in the area of 40 officers covering 24 hour shifts along with their own detectives. i am sure they do occasionally use fairfax county for help with some advanced stuff (SWAT, Crime Scene, etc).
i think this is one of those cases where the local media sort of jumped to conclusions about who was heading the investigation because the victim may have been first contact by county police at fairfax hospital which is covered by county police prior to knowing the incident occured in vienna.
Yeah i drove by today at 7 pm and they had the Crime Cleaners there...it was all shut down, cones blocked the parking lot....i feared someone had OD'ed on hot dogs and beer and exploded till i heard the rumors. ...crazy stuff!

Oh look, a latino stabbed someone. Now that's unusual. I guess that's just another job that Americans are unwilling to do that latinos are now doing, hard workers they are and all.

What's the matter? Are you cranky that they shut down one of your watering holes today and you had to get liquored up somewhere else? Rest easy, they'll re-open and you can have all the chili dogs and booze your liver can handle tomorrow.
