I'm guessing that this is a high school (or lower) level rumor, soon to turn urban legend. I think we would have seen something on the news about this.

Boring is a relative perspective. For those interested in a wild night out, you're are definitely not going to find it in Centreville. You'd be much better off heading east into Fairfax or futher down town. For the most part, Centreville is a bedroom community; however, there are a couple of places where you can go and share a few beers with friends or have a few over a game.
