the NFL salary cap seems to be effective in leveling the payroll playing field. Yeah people say "This is capitalism, players should be able to make as much money as they can" true with respect to team competition within that league. However, if market forces dictate that for Leage to be successful that salary caps must be put in place for parirty then that it also capitalistic forces at work.

Isn't the real problem, the same as it is with every other major leage (NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB). Which is there are 25-30 franchises of which only a few are located in major markets to feed off and have the ability to outspend every other franchise driving up the cost to acquire top talent.

This reminds me of the phenomena that a buddy in Poland was telling me about. Basically working class, younger teenage Polish girls (14-17?) would have sex with older men in exchange for clothes or other non-cash material gifts. They thought since they were recieving gifts and not cash for sex, it was not prostitution.

The NBA is a piss poor example of a "team" sport. Has it even full recovered from the referee scandal? It took a college coach to make USA Basketball competitive after years of the NBA model failing.

Obama does not a sharp mind when it comes citing facts, history and statistics. Obama is intellectually lazy the fact that he barely wrote any opinions while head of the Havard Law Review. He also yet to disclose his college transcripts. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0808/12705.html Newt is a true scholar and is as sharp as they come. The Caps need to hire a comedy coach for the European guys. They dont seem to be grapsing the concept of "Sarcasim" very well. They're asking who has the worst car on the team. Consensus is its Brooks Laich's Late 90's Cadilac Escalade. Below are some sarcasim fails: Backstrom": "Brooksy (haha)....its from WWII or something.."
