Eh get used to it or just don't contribute. At my kids' school, they have a PTA direct fundraiser every year where you just flat out contribute $$ to avoid having to do all the boosterthon bullshit. Of course a couple months into the year they just start doing fundraisers anyway.

if you cancel, do EVERYTHING by certified mail. get names, confirmation numbers, etc. i cancelled with them a couple years ago, paid everything, had letters saying i'd paid off everything and was all clear, and yet they still sent collectors after me for monthly bills after i'd cancelled. bunch of fucking thugs.
