They had just made a discounted 23-hour-old donut pickup at the rt 29 Dunkin Donuts. They were rushing the cargo to McLean stations to ensure no officer would receive a real day-old donut. This is being done due to budget cuts, and the police union objected to feeding the force day-old donuts.

The Dunkin Donuts on 29 announced a power outage issue and they were going to close in ten minutes. Westfields FCPD station turned what is normally a five minute trip into a two minute trip.

A robbery was reported at Wal-Mart at Fair Lakes, a couple of guys grabbed some merchandise and donut boxes for the road. They fled out of the garden center door and sped down Stringfellow toward the school. Scanner said they through some DVDs out the window but fled with the rest into the woods somewhere near the school. I fell asleep before I heard the outcome.

A person was observed defacing a sign in front of the school, replacing the five o's of "Woodson High School" with chocolate-covered donuts. The perp and all the "evidence" was confiscated a short distance away.

Someone had built a home-made catapult and was firing donuts toward Braddock in a southwestern direction from the field at the nearby elementary school. Ignore the unfunny clowns on this site. According to the police scanner, the car belonged to an employee of the Lake Anne Coffee House that had just been fired. A few boxes of donuts were found to be missing from the store after the employee left, FCPD diverted resources from an active terror investigation to apprehend the thief.

They used to scope out Rt29 south near the PWC border... people would buy donuts at the Dunkin Donuts on 29 in Centreville and leave that way. Now those buyers have gotten wise and are going back north on 29 to get on 28 and the police have moved their checkpoint accordingly.
