Only place I have even heard about giving them away was in Old Town Alexandria a few years ago. Not sure if you are going to have too much luck getting them around here.

My main gripe is with the main toll plaza. They need more than 2 dedicated speed pass lanes in both directions. Make it at least 4 each way, as I believe doing so will cause more people to get a speed pass since the cash lanes will back up more. Currently, I go through the cash lanes with my speed pass every morning since it's faster than waiting to go through the 2 dedicated speed pass lane

Carpool in herndon/reston does it. Ask any of the bartenders, they can even set it up in the back room for you on the movie/presentation screen.

Rumor has it that the owners of the shopping center doubled all the rents for the businesses there to drive them out. K-Mart and the Golds Gym there are closing as well soon. The bartender said that the owners of the center plan to sell out and put up condo's/townhomes there. HardTimes refused the rent increase and closes this weekend. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I compeletly agree that they need to go. Hunter Mill used to have 2. they replaced one with a 2 lane bridge when I was in high school (the one that was right before the bike trail crossing). And the cerement and steel 1 lane bridge further up towards Barron Cameron is no historical land mark...

Make sure any place you buy isn't on this guys website: http://donwiss.com/pictures/BrooklynStores/ Check the names against the BBB as well. Most of them are bait and switch scams. Buydig.com is a legit site and sometimes has better than expected prices. I've used them before.

I've been with USAA all my life, I'm not military or government. They will open insure as long as someone that was government or military invites you to be a member. Once you are a member, you can invite others to join as well. Kind of like most government or military credit unions.

Will dullas corrridor busineses get the extra tax they have been paying for the last X years back? How about toll road drivers.. the last time they increased the toll they stated it was for bringing the metro out. I know it's wishful thinking, but I'd like a refund please.

Most bang for the Nacho buck that I have found, unfortunately, is at Bungalows. Huge plate, lots of jalapeƱo and damn good. I just can't stand the damn restaurant though. Way too loud and their service has sucked lately.

Herndon to Crystal city. 3 hours 10 min. 90% of the time was spent on the toll road. Beltway and GW parkway were fine.

No need to worry about the phone line unless it's a Direct TV TIVO (not the Direct TV DVR, but actual TIVO box). The TIVO unit needs to call to download the programming schedule. Teh DVR does it over the sat feed. All the other ones only need to call in occasionally to verify/charge you for any pay-per view. If you don't order pay per view.. no need to call in. I have 3 boxes that have never

See if you can find the service manual online for it. Search for your model number and service or technical manual. It may be an easy fix, and having clear instructions always helps if you decide to do it on your own. I did it for my DLP when the bulb's cooling fan was making a horrendous noise. I wasn't willing to spend $200 for someone to replace a $3 computer fan.

You are a retard if you even consider Cox. Their signal quality sucks in most of Fairfax county.

this place does a decent job.. doesn't have everything though. http://www.gocampingamerica.com/ The cove is probably your best bet though if you are looking for more of a party spot. Huge spaces, they normally separate groups away from families.. no issues with noise late at night. I've heard good things about Point Lookout in MD. It's a bit more of a drive than the cove though, and a state

Reston is a planned community, run/managed by the Reston Association. http://www.reston.org/ Basically a HOA for an entire area, vice a single neighborhood.

It's a live chat board. You read what shows up on the screen. if you want to contribute, there is a "submit" line at the bottom of the screen (type what you want, hit enter to post it). It's basically an IM client run through the website.

Where on the GW parkway? I drive that every morning and have never seen one (beltway north to crystal city). They do these stupid "speed enforcement" weeks on the road, but all that entails are large V-DOT signs saying "Slow Down".

Just buy in volume. Kegs cost less than equivalent volume in cans or bottles.

Exactly. Your local channels are based off of your billing address. If you can get your hands on an additional DirectTV or DishNetwork Dish, install it yourself, all you need to do is bring a receiver with you when you go out.
