if by "so many hot blondes" you mean that one in the pic with the pink shirt and sweat stains... then yeah. I was mostly underimpressed. more attractive women than most of the other local places but I have a feeling that will change after the "new" wears off. and after that the place will be nothing but a 10 cover and dress code sausage fest.

I think ยง hit the nail on the head with the "teenage angst and I hate my parents" comment about Tina's musical taste... which makes me wonder why she didn't list mindless self indulgence. MSI are my personal fave and full of angsty teen rebellion. they also happen to be one of the most creative bands out there. shock value with substance. check them out! www.mindlessselfindulgence.com

"I've realized that if I screw up now, then I'll screw up my life. So I wanna go out and party and all, but I still want to get good grades." who you are in highschool does not define the rest of your life. I barely graduated highschool and dropped out of college but now I'm making six figures a year in my 20s and will be retired in my 40s with a fat retirement plan. go out and party, just don't

I agree that Habitual's post made little sense... but if by Ghandi you mean Mahatma Gandhi, he was a Sanatani Hindu, not a Buddhist. that sounds like the the kind of racist stereotyping I'd expect from a cop.

HA! I wish I would have known you were Going, C. I was out there with some friends Monday the 22nd... living in Fairfax the drive sux and the girls aren't top quality but they work hard for their money. maybe we should have a FFXUG nite out at Vixens some time. oh yeah, and Sheets is key. I prefer the smishcuits though. =p

I dunno if I'd call Coastal Flats a 'good o'l college bar' like the original poster was looking for. granted I particularly like the place but most of the people eating inside are just there to eat (check out the shrimp and grits if you do go. I wasn't too keen on paying 20 bucks for grits but it's fucking awesome) and the folks at the bar and patio are more the suit and tie crowd looking to pass

I dunno how it rates in comparison to the other places mentioned but the TGIFriday's on the corner of West Ox and Monument usually has a lot of college age kids most nights. pretty decent percentage of females there too. it's not a great place but the only one that I know of that stays open late that's within a 5 minute drunk drive back to my house.

when I first moved here from Texas I too was missing "non commercial" Mexican places. I think Anita's is probably the closest thing to what I was missing. there's a couple in the Fiarfax area, I usually go to the one on 50 by the 28 intersection. great for breakfast.

I didn't have any, I'm a federali employee... but some of my friends aren't and they enjoyed a variety of recreational indulgences. the clubhouse is far enough away from houses and the street that nobody knows what's going on without making it obvious they're coming your way to check on you.

if you're willing to go to Leesburg check out the Exeter Clubhouse. not too pricy and they pretty much leave you alone as long as you don't cause any problems. I threw my wife a big birthday bash there over the weekend and we partied hard from 9pm until 3am and no cops showed. we had a DJ and about 75 people, the place worked out well.

if by "camp around" you actually meant camping check out Burke Lake Park. a few buddies and I went out there on a week night and were the only ones out there. we went to the mini-mart at the campground and traded the kid working the store a few beers for as much firewood we could put in the trunk of my car. technicly I don't think alcohol is allowed but we got trashed, got pretty loud and had a b

Midgetville- I had to see for myself so I went there this afternoon. the directions I took were from Penderbrook: 66 East, Exit #62 VA-243/Nutley. right on Nutley towards 29. left on 29. left on Cedar Lane. left on Wedderburn. the road turned sharply left at one point, but if I had continued straight I would have gone down a dirt road. there were a whole row of mailboxes to the right and several

I like how new posts are indicated on the forum list for the Fairfax general section, but it appears that you have to open each other subfolders below before you know if there is anything new. any possiblity you'd change it to indicate from the one main index exactly which folders had new posts? thanks S

I love it when folks derail a pertinant thread with one-liners... from personal experince I've found that the closer you get to DC the shittier the cops get (this is of course a broad generalization). there are a few reasonable cops in Ashburn that I have dealt with. I have only ever had really bad experiences with the law in Leesburg and Fairfax City.

how far are you willing to travel? I don't know of any in Fairfax but "I have a friend" that knows quite a bit about some in DC. perhaps a bit on the pricy side but for your money you get discretion, your pick of several attractive and talented "masseurs" and "satisfaction guaranteed".

since Fairfax is sadly devoid of these wonderful establishments I was wondering if anyone had any infos on any that are worth the 30-60 min drive it takes to get to one? I usually go to Vixens in WVA but only because some co-workers party with the DJ so I have a bit of an "in" with a few of the girls there. anywhere closer to Fairfax City worth checking out?

anyone still looking for games? I'm kinda new to these boards and just found this post. I'm not a player but I drink with 2 different crowds that have regular games, anwhere from a 20$ buy-in to 150$ buy in. they usually play tournaments, bulk to winner, consolation to 2nd. the games are not open invite but if anyone is interested I can tell you what bars we'll be at and when, drink with these gu
