Article from 1915 Washington Post about a road trip from Washington, DC to the Manassas, Virginia battlefields. Photo from the story entitled: "1916 National touring car on road between Centreville and Fairfax." Loved the description of the roads and driving... "The last thirteen miles, as stated before, is exceedingly rough and is not pleasant riding..." If you are driving during rush hour 11

I think you are reading too much into that onside kick attempt. Most coaches like to try 1 or 2 in live game situations throughout the year (unless you are South County and do it all the time) in case of need at some point. What better time to try one than when you have just taken a commanding and more importantly - SAFE - lead?

Some actual game observations: kudos to #32 in blocking BOTH Centreville extra point attempts. Special teams had another solid performance for Westfield. #80 for Centreville was on fire this game – he absolutely tortured the Westfield offensive line and I’m sure Scanlon was tired of seeing him all night long. There is a lot of football to be played yet but the final weekend of the season is shaping up to have a few conference championships on the line. We could very well see a decisive match-up in the final game for: Patriot Conference 7: 9-0 South County vs. 9-0 Lake Braddock Concorde Conference 5: 7-2 Chantilly vs. 8-1 Westfield Liberty Conference 6: 8-1 Madison vs 7-2 Hayfield

Ah, yes, very evenly matched teams no doubt. I'm sure Westfield fans are wondering how Robinson has 3 losses and Robinson fans are wondering how Westfield has 6 wins. No one will want to face Robinson in the playoffs. That is one heck of a defense. But I wouldn't be so sure Robinson gets past Westfield in a re-match. Westfield had a couple of turnovers in the red zone and pretty much shut do

Hype or Legit analysis? Tyler Scanlon may be becoming a BETTER football player than he is a basketball player... http://mvp.gamedaymagazine.com/members/media/3-things-to-know10-12-2015/ I think they may be on to something. How far would he go if football was his main focus i/o BB?
