Not official, but what has been mentioned on Twitter and via conversation with Robinson staff....Freshman female student brought gun to school in order to give it to another female to have after school. Likely use in an altercation following school with people not attending Robinson. Reality - we will never know because the FCPS publicity machine will gloss over it all.

Fairfax County Public Schools hosted a work session yesterday on the topic of overcrowding at Fairfax City owned Fairfax High and Lanier Middle schools. Anyone attend and have thoughts on the meeting content? A quick look at the map shows only places with room are Robinson, Lake Braddock and Frost/Woodson, but I am guessing most of the overcrowding is caused by Willow Springs, Eagle View and Gr

After reading the Patch article that came out, it sounds like the Hyundai failed to yield at a green light (without a green arrow) when turning left and cut in front of the motorcycle traveling south through the intersection. The lady in the Hyundai must not have even slowed down because the article stated she hit a Mustang that was coming from Clifton Road on 123 and was sitting at the light.

Happened a little after 5. Drove by before any emergency vehicles arrived. Motorcycle against a Hyundai sedan. Bike was in pieces at intersection over towards Clifton Road side of 123 with driver of the motorcycle on the pavement by the side of the road. Thinking there were a lot of witnesses given the number of vehicles Sitting on both sides of 123 at the scene just a minute after the wreck.

Just happy my assessment still comes in about $50,000 below real estate appraisal prices. No increase between 2011 and 2012. Almost 100% increase in assessed value in last 10 years. Not complaining at all.

6. Bradsher's way of showing Herrity who is boss in Springfield district in her mind. The school board acted like ticked off teenagers that couldn't get the keys to the family car when the BOS held money from budgets, etc. They continued to push the blame to the BOS for their own inability to provide oversight to expenditures. The BOS was having none of it and I hope/pray the BOS don't enterta
