2) Wenlock is not ugly. He is based on the shape of an drop of iron and named after Wenlock Olympian Society Annual Games, dating from 1850, a forerunner of the modern Olympic Games.
3) Holding? That is a tag saying he is the official mascot of the 2012 London summer games.
4) someone as smart as you should know the 5 rings on his arms represent the 5 Olympic rings and the 5 continents that participate in the games, historically.
