Have you even visited the website www.prankdial.com to see what it is all about considering from the link to your prank call that was posted previously, it is obviously where the call originated. If you had visited the site, then you would've realized that a person can enter the number to dial which was obviously yours that you had posted previously, and can enter a caller id number which can be whatever number that the prank caller wants. So yea, it is highly unlikely that these people who you are posting there personal information and defaming their character were involved at all.

I have provided a link to the VA law which it would appear that Scott is already guilty of both both part A (Misdemeanor) and part D (Class 6 Felony). I'm sure he probably paid for those background checks with his credit card too..

18.2-152.5. Computer invasion of privacy; penalties.
A. A person is guilty of the crime of computer invasion of privacy when he uses a computer or computer network and intentionally examines without authority any employment, salary, credit or any other financial or identifying information, as defined in clauses (iii) through (xiii) of subsection C of 18.2-186.3, relating to any other person. "Examination" under this section requires the offender to review the information relating to any other person after the time at which the offender knows or should know that he is without authority to view the information displayed.
B. The crime of computer invasion of privacy shall be punishable as a Class 1 misdemeanor.
C. Any person who violates this section after having been previously convicted of a violation of this section or any substantially similar laws of any other state or of the United States is guilty of a Class 6 felony.
D. Any person who violates this section and sells or distributes such information to another is guilty of a Class 6 felony.
E. Any person who violates this section and uses such information in the commission of another crime is guilty of a Class 6 felony.
F. This section shall not apply to any person collecting information that is reasonably needed to (i) protect the security of a computer, computer service, or computer business, or to facilitate diagnostics or repair in connection with such computer, computer service, or computer business or (ii) determine whether the computer user is licensed or authorized to use specific computer software or a specific computer service.

Nice try, IAG, but you probably should have checked the cross referenced definition before you posted. The categories of information "defined in clauses (iii) through (xiii) of subsection C of 18.2-186.3," which limit the coverage of this statute, include "(iii) social security number; (iv) driver's license number; (v) bank account numbers; (vi) credit or debit card numbers; (vii) personal identification numbers (PIN); (viii) electronic identification codes." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall any of this type of stuff included in 2concerned's posts.

Which is not to say that 2concerned's postings didn't potentially violate other laws. Or, for that matter, that they weren't really stupid and/or crazy.

I can see that Scott has spent another productive day providing for his family. I'm assuming the Mrs. has a full time job to pay the bills?

a) can you prove O.P. is Scott Lehman?
b) can you show me a direct threat to ANYONE he has mentioned?
c) can you show me where he has obtained information illegally?

Hoss aint done a damn thing illegal. Crazy? Check. Immoral? Check. Waste of time? Check. Pathetic? Triple Check> But I havent seen O.P. say "oh, I'm gonna cut soandso" or "I'm gonna harm yr children" or anything like that.

All kidding aside, were I you I would have mixed feelings about this. Its both funny and disturbing at the same time.

Okay... I don't think there's any shame in taking the night off.

Honestly, finding Gordon seemed my easiest way of resolving this. And the cheapest.

The other ways should work, just more slowly.

Now that I do believe you guys are sharing accounts and info, it would make this chase a lot tougher. I truly thought Gordon was doing the cyber-bully thing all by him/herself.

No apologies yet... I still think Horton and Ricker went way over the line.

I still don't understand why other people would want to get wrapped up in a criminal conspiracy any more than they are, though....
