The only thing that would have made this a better video would be an on screen heart attack. And the fat shit wasnt even paying his bills. Running a tab is all the exercise he gets from looking at him.

Well... in fairness, don't call it "all you can eat" if they won't serve you all you can eat. It's not like fish are intoxicating like alcohol, and this place probably isn't serving some high-end $50-per-pound tuna.

They could easily fix this by calling it "all most people can eat."

Well, it's not false advertising because he couldn't eat anymore once they decided to cut him off.... So... technicallllllyy.... he did eat all he could eat...

It's not like they called it an "eat all you want"... That would be different...

Ok. Technically, you're right. He can't eat anymore once the restaurant stopped serving him fish. BUT... Let's break it down.

ALL: "All" is the totality of something. If you eat all the pie, then there is no more pie left to be eaten. The totality in question here refers to the amount of fish he is able to consume. If he eats less than he is able to consume, then he hasn't eaten "all" of it.

YOU: This word signifies that the restaurant is addressing their customers. As a customer of the restaurant, the offer is open to Chubby Fish Guy (CFG).

CAN: Ever have that jerk of an English teacher in high school who, when you asked if you "can" go to the bathroom, responded by saying, "I don't know. Can you?" I had three of them. The word "can" carries the connotation of being able to do something. CFG was able to eat more, so according to the sign, he should have been allowed to.

EAT: The act of masticating, swallowing, digesting, gaining nourishment from, and excreting the waste product of food.

In non-simple terms, the sign says, "The totality of fish that the customer is able to consume." In this case, the restaurant should advertise their Fri Fish Fry as "ALL YOU MAY EAT." This would be accurate because the message then would be "the totality of fish that the customer is allowed to consume."

Or, you could say that the phrase "ALL YOU CAN EAT" is a colloquialism commonly associated with buffet-style meals where there is no limit to the food you're allowed to eat. It's sort of like saying you're going to "see a movie." There's no promise of audio presentation to go along with the visual component, but a movie is commonly assumed to contain both audio and visual elements.

Besides, it'll all balance out in the end. If this guy eats 20 pieces of fried fish once a week and dies of a heart attack in 4 years because of it, then in the long run, he's really not consuming more fish than someone who eats 4 pieces of fish once a week for 20 years.

LET HIM EAT HIS FISH AND DIE IN PEACE, TUTTLES.

It was perfectly comprehensible, but dull.

"Terrible" because it tried so hard to be funny, but was not.

Sorry, but I calls 'em like I sees 'em.

For instance, this "classic" Mephisto post still tickles my funny bone, indeed it makes me laugh out loud:

Does that totality include every pie in the world? The universe? The future generations of pie progeny yet to be baked? if so your imagination is a horrifying, terrible place.

The totality in question here refers to
> the amount of fish he is able to consume. If he

Let's not get ahead of ourselves... Meet me at "can"...

Excuse me, Mephisto... Are you calling me a chubby fish guy?

> CAN: Ever have that jerk of an English teacher in

Yes!!! and they always said it with an obnoxious smirk like they thought they were so funny. Those condescending terrorists. Yeah, wait until a kid is about to mess his pants public so you can publicly point out that you're smarter than him. Great way to seize a learning opportunity. Fucking terrorist dolts...

I had three of them. The word "can"
> carries the connotation of being able to do

I'll tell you like I told those swinging dick bullies in school...

"I dont know... Can you?"

"Well, I can't if you don't let me"

How can you eat more if they don't let you? You can't...

CFG was able to eat more, so according
> to the sign, he should have been allowed to.

Like you said, "can" refers to ability... Not desire or willingness...

> EAT: The act of masticating, swallowing,

Masticate, swallow, digest, gain nourishment from, and excrete the waste product of a basket of dicks, you puppy-kicking terrorist.

His argument is void since the fat piece of shit was running a tab he wasnt paying. If anything they should have demanded he pay his past bill before they shoveled another whale into his fat mouth.
They never should have let his fat ass run a tab to begin with. They are to blame for that. This aint the welfare office, pay your bill of GTFO,

I was talking about all the pie in a given location, but you're right about my imagination.

OK. That'll give me some time to get my hair did.

That's brilliant. I wish I'd been "Harry Tuttle" smart in school...

You take it by force.

His physical capacity to eat more meant he was capable of eating more. The fact that the restaurant cut him off is just another erosion of liberty in Obama's America.

You are cordially invited to eat every dick in the world, the universe, and future generations of dick yet to be made, you big dick-eating dinosaur.

The joint should just declare him to be disruptive and ban his fat ass from coming back on pain of a trespassing charge. They let him run a tab? In a fucking fish fry joint? Idiots.

I would like to see the fat man tied down to stakes in the ground and beaten with baseball bats upon his fat belly. I can imagine the sound it would make. WHUMP WHUMP WHUMP

They should never have let him run a tab. If some slob like this told me he wanted to run a tab I would send his fat ass packing. I aint running no Salvation Army soup kitchen. Its their own fault for letting him get away with it in the first place.
