I hate the cult of jeep drivers that seem to be taking over FFX. There is nothing more gay than a pseudo manly man in a tricked out shiny jeep. It's so ridiculous seeing these middle aged guys drive these pieces of shite back and forth to the man.

Like the soccer mom with a Hummer, how many of these ladyboys really take them offroading? Probably a small percentage, unless you count Merrifield.

When your offroading is confined to driving to the mall or sitting in 25 mph rush hour traffic, you and your car are a joke. What I hate the most are the guys who fret over every little speck of dust or dirt. What the hell is up with that? I know at least four guys who are in to this jeep culture who are so prissy about their cars. Girls.

Escalades and the like the are the big joke, they can't even go off-roading. Jeeps and other real SUVS are awesome vehicles, and they are a ton of fun in the snow (As for serious off-roading, don't try it unless you're willing to dish money out for axle repairs and the like).

I love SUVS that are actually meant to go off-road, but I really don't see the point in the ones that aren't capable of much other than towing. I've actually noticed some previously great SUVS being turned into the latter category recently, and it's absurd. When in an attempt to look flashy or futuristic the body becomes a thick box, then the vehicle loses its agility.

Its time to be judgmental, and say, that yes, the majority of those in FFX who do own Jeep's, Hummer's, what really would be considered off road vehicles, have never spent a day of going mudding. Nor have they fished or hunted, even gone camping, unless it involves a Hilton Hotel and a video game system.

what is the best true offroading vehicle one can obtain for around 10k? hopefully v8 so it can tow a small boat.

I owned a jeep myself- I can agree they are gay (had a cherokee-left me stranded when it decided to shit oil in the middle of 95 north! The oil had been changed by the dealer 2 weeks before!).

recently in old town manassas I was waiting for traffic to lighten up to turn into the lane. a Ford Excursion comes along and wants me to turn blindly into the street with oncoming traffic only I can't see oncoming traffic. ahole honks horn and flashes lights at me. I give them a friendly wave instead of digital salute. There was plenty of room for the ahole to turn unless you can't handle the damn things
