At this point Oscar's tried everything but creating compelling content!

I will say I became a fan of Big O and Dukes in Az, loved them when they returned to DC and was a fan of most of their time on WJFK.

Has anyone really looked at how CK (I forget his real name--the former Junks producer) destroyed WJFK with his headlong run into the personal people meter ratings? Destroyed it. BOAD were totally committed to following his lead and changed their show substantially to try and create immediate, registered PPM readings. Did all radio ratings switch? They were certainly the first and I remember all the shows talking about how CK thought it would be a better more accurate way to gauge the success of the shows. The idea was that WJFK fans were more active patrons of the sponsors than other audiences. CK continuing to be program director paid no price.

CK is a company guy. CBS made up their mind. Man Talk was out. Sports were in. TMOS talking sports????? Gone. The Junks are 40% of what they once were. I love that a former intern tells the Junks and Dukes what to do now.

The Junkies are only entertaining when they're NOT talking about sports.

I wonder if Oscar has calculated the time value of money lost by him over the past six years of working on the shit-cast instead of securing gainful employment at a real radio station. I wonder if he's considered the opportunity cost associated with dating girls whose highest aspiration is wearing wet t-shirts at bars. The guy has to be 40, right? Don't most guys cut that shit out by 30? God forbid you should date a smart woman with goals and a personality.

Latest Rob and Joe show pretty good. Don't know that much about them or their lives and careers -- have listened to less than a dozen of their podcasts in the last year or so. They are amusing in an understated and natural way (no cackling!) and can tell and let the other tell a story.

I'm trying to listen to Fatt Rob take a coathanger to the canon of Christmas songs, a rerun from last year, but it's difficult sledding. #TMOS1000 Lives!

Now back to spend the rest of this entire day's 23 hours, 59 minutes and 40 seconds with my family. I took Pohloozuh's post to heart and sat up all last night staring at my kids as they slept so I wouldn't miss out on even one moment of this holiday. I am one multi-tasking m-f'er.

One fly in the ointment -- the wife and kids are not taking kindly to my insisting I join them in the bathroom and vice-versa. Any suggestions?

Hi Poloozuh! I love you!! I love TMOS!! I love everybody!! I love Mike, Oscar and Robb so much that I am checking in here to see what my fellow TMOS Fans are saying about that talented trio!

The worst part of this holiday week is that I miss the Kraft baby marshmallow recipes. I miss the days left of Christmas shopping. I miss Robb and Oscar's delightful guffaws. I miss Mike's wonderful impressions. I miss Robb's mailbag. I miss Mike's NEWS. I miss Oscarazzi. I miss Mike's stories of life in West South Florida. I miss Robb's puns and wordplay. So much more, but I'll let the rest of the countless TMOS Super Fans weigh in. I feel like we're all sharing this special day as we keep our Fun Boys in our hearts!!! TMOS FOREVER!!

He's drinking some brown liquid and sobbing. Mom said I shouldn't worry. She also said I shouldn't have children, though, just to be on the safe side. I told her I don't know exactly what she meant. She told me to ask Sharon.
