I am probably a generation late for it, but he never seemed very funny to me. But whenever you hear people talk about the great comedians of the past 50 years, he is always in the discussion.
Never understood it myself. The parakeet bit is only funny if you are a radiophile since it makes fun of the "wacky zoo" DJ's.
But the "Mercedes Leather" bit is completely lost on me.

Thanks. I've listened to Rob and Joe, Tony Perkins, OMearacast, Cake and Cookies and It's Mickey. Rob and Joe have their moments but it can be a slog. Tony's show looks like the most promising, especially with the guests they're lining up. Cake and Cookies and It's Mickey are, well, dreadful. Too much Spewak in the former and not enough Mickey in the latter -- gave up looking for his shows after his months-long absence. At least C&C is able to post shows regularly. Lose weight if needed
Avoid prolonged sitting

The LFF said something about 5 glasses of wine being nothing to him after so many years...And then something about not taking the antibiotics anymore.
Daily drunks may develop a suppressed immune system.
LFF's c-diff is likely due to being on antibiotics for a while. His drinking could have dropped his immune system enough that he got a nasty infection and had to be on antibiotics long enough and heavy enough to develop c-diff.
I'd love for the LFF's problems to be mostly drinking related.

Not even some sort of argument? He yelled once, then in came the security guard? I don't think he is lying, because he doesn't mind making himself look bad if he thinks it's a good story.

I'm sure he said more than that, but for his hilarious comedy bit, he just retold the one sentence
