Apparently Netflix likes to affiliate itself with clean podcasts, so it isn't just Iowa.

If they were truly unfettered, they would lose the bonus show "revenue."

Better show/or $250 on black...

For all the ass kissing LFF does, and as "BUSY 24/7" as Ronick is, why do they mainly have affiliate deals that anyone can sign up for? If Amazon is their main money maker, why pay Ronick? A trained monkey could find affiliate programs and sign up for them.

It would have been some decent material (It's not radio, even if it's on one broke-dick Iowa station guys.) if RJ would have gone postal and busted up the studio. They've been giving him shit non-stop for weeks, when A) he has worked for free since the start and B) he just fucking beat cancer. Even more shit than usual. LFF and Robb are obviously sub-human, but I thought maybe Buzz or Oscar would stick up for him a bit.

I heard O'Meara say this on his show about 2 weeks ago I think it was. I had always speculated he and Don were making about a million, but when he said "I was making millions", I wonder how much is just hyperbole.

Oh, and yeh, he isn't happier now than he was when he was making that kind of money.

Yes, his happiness overfloweth. His career is in shambles. He gets cut-off notices for his utilities. His health is shot. He lost a bucket of cash in the late, unlamented bar. He's a million pounds overweight, and his use of alcohol actively interferes with his ability to do . . . well, anything.

He made millions during his peak earning period.....maybe a million a year, maybe a little more, but not millions a year. Amazing how he has nothing saved, what with the new cars, the boat, the houses, string of ex-wives, failed buisnesses, don't forget the horse.

Of course, to hear him tell it, he was taxed too much and wasn't able to keep much of that money, only about 55%......so sad.

When the Manassass "O'Meara's Pub" was at it's height of sucess, El Gordito made a play for the "Sign of the Whale" (how fitting!) in DC.

It's too bad that deal didn't pan out - the DC slickee boyz in the restaurant and booze biz would have taken all his money in a few months.

The point? O'Meara and $$ are acquaintences, never long term affairs - and his bad decisions and failures are down to someone else.

Watch out Rob(b), Ronic, Ozkar - the clock is ticking and one/all of you will be responsible for a 'Mikey fail' sooner or later.

$3 million a year. Mike could have been $2.5-2.75, maybe closer to 2.5 since Don was also Program Director for awhile. Either way, that is a lot of money. That is a lot of money to have blown through. I bet the majority of that was taken out by the bar, the rest, well, it's already been said: ex-wives, cars, horses, gambling, booze, whores, etc.

Oh, man. Way back in the day (when he still had the JFK show, I think) he came back from a weekend, and spent a LONG time recounting what he'd eaten over the weekend. It took forever, and there was a lot of, "Well, an hour later, we passed by X, and I just had to stop in for another snack." Even his sycophants were stunned into silence by LFF's appetite.

I have never seen anybody who is so CLEARLY clinically depressed. The binge eating/drinking. The temper. The inability to find joy in anything. He's a mess.

While it would be extremely healthy for Mike to get on a couch and get some therapy, I would rather he didn't. This way we can all watch this implosion in slow motion. I have never seen anyone so self-destructive, self-loathing and depressed as him, yet nobody says anything to him about it (fear) nor does anyway in any way want to help (again, fear). Exactly, he is doing this as part of his show. A show that people who have free will choose to listen to. You are not forced to listen to his show, and therefore should not feel "threatened" by what he has to say. If you do not like or agree with it do not listen. Simple as that. Do you have a special website set up to hammer Nancy Grace and her fucked up mental thoughts? How about queer Ellen Degeneres? Are you telling me that you are in 100% agreement with every personality out there that puts their shit out their for you to listen to? His "demands" to his "krewe" are obviously not what you think they are or none of those people would still be on his show. His "demands" on his crew do not impact you in any way. What do you care of what he expects from his staff? If you want to be the voice for social justice I think there are bigger fish to fry. But, I guess, that would mean you would really have to put your money were your mouth is. Unlike this forum where you can just spout off in lockstep with your fellow trolls and fear no repurcussion. Real American hero's you are!

LFF IS my American hero. Semper fat!

Dude, the product sucks monkey balls. It's a bad show. It's a shadow of what used to be a good show, and THAT is LFF's fault, because he's slowly slipping away from reality, deep into a bottle of Scotch.

So what? If the show is that bad why do you feel compelled to make it a part of your life? Why do you care what LFF does to himself or others? There are so many people out there that are pieces of shit human beings. I just do not get why, if you hate him so much, you give him the pleasure of the attention he gets on this website. It is counterintuitive. You are so stupid that you do not realize that you are feeding his ego more by continuing this nonsense than if you did not comment on his show at all. He knows that by you all continuing this forum you are actually feeding him listeners who are going to go to his site and download his show just to see what you dumbasses are talking about. He is playing you all like pawns.

Yup, LFF, master of strategy. That's why his life and career are going so well. If you don't get it, why are YOU here?

"Do you have a special website set up to hammer Nancy Grace and her fucked up mental thoughts?"

Nope, she lucked into the "Hot-Lanta After Dark" forum on her own. We had absolutely NOTHING to do with that one, she has no missing white girl, she sucks donkey balls on her own.

@Why were you not in Benghazi, I used to be like you, I bought both "RAW broadcasts..." When was the last time Mike or company actually made you laugh? Seriously, when did he make you literally make you drop your jaw? Hand to God, when did he last make you fall out?

Exactly, that's why I stopped listening and realized how much Robb and Ronick slowed down the show. Not that Oscar and Buzz elevated the show, but they certainly made it suck less than LFF.

As a lifelong D&M fan, nothing would make me happier than an amazing TMOS podcast. Unfortunately, it is a typical LFF best effort, a D+ at most generous.

+1. What's O'Meara going to dazzle the the masses at the "Rubes in Reno" show?

Oh, I know, he'll get everyone to wear a tux and have Blob(b) shave his head!

How do you fix the failcast? Don't know. If I thought fewer failcasts would result in, y'know, more show prep, that might help, but does anybody believe that LFF would do more show prep if they were only going to do 2-3 of these a week? I don't. It would be the same half-assed effort.

First of all, it's "heroes". A plural word doesn't have an apostrophe, but you'd have learned that if you finished 6th grade, so I can't fault you for that. You're clearly some right-wing redneck douchebag who can't criticize anything without resorting to gay-bashing and wanting everyone who has a problem with anything Rush Limbaugh tells you is "American" to move to another country. Go hang out in the O-Reilly Blowjob forum and let us bash O'Meara in peace for another 182 pages since that's what we're going to do anyway. Or, as your "hero's" would say, ESSADEE.

"His "demands" to his "krewe" are obviously not what you think they are

Well, Buzz quit the show and was enticed to stay when he was allowed to work from home. It is true, I do not know the actual demands Mike places on his "krewe", but I do know the demand he places on the audience and the demands he discusses on the show. I am not a part of the show, nor am I behind the curtain enough to know what is discussed when the mics are off, but I hear how he talks to others and how he does demand people to be professional, which is a joke since he can't be professional enough to make it the 40 feet from his bed downstairs to do his own show.

LFF's crappy attitude and arrogance were something he could get away with when he was on top. Now, he can't. Not for long, anyway. He needs the crewe more than the crewe needs him.

Not even close. If I had to guess, he's over 300, but not too far . . . call it 305. So every time he dips to 297, he's all excited . . . and eats a pizza.

Been listening to a lot of old episodes of The Hideout with el jefe and J dubs over at DCam. 5 year old episodes and still way more entertaining than the snorefest LFF does. Listened to my first failcast in 3 weeks on Friday and its still the tired old shit. Maybe I'll check back in a few months?

I listen regularly because quite honestly, I can't find anything better to listen to on my commute in and my commute home. I admit it, I am lazy and have not foundanything else ot listen to, plus it is familer. I can't say I enjoy it, but I am not entirely disgusted. The best part is I am a week or more behind, so I read the comments here and then listen which makes the whole experience better. My girlfriend stopped listening over a year ago and listened to an episode with me last weekend. Her first comment, "Well, Mike is still the same whiny pussy he always has been. Has nothing changed?". I thought about for a minute and agreed. Nothing has changed, nothing will change. I really need to find something else to listen to.

If you like sports, try Bill Simmons' ESPN podcast, or Shut Up and Listen (from Slate).

The Sklar Brothers have a hiliarious pop culture podcast.

I have satellite radio in the car, so I just listen to podcasts when I work out, but there are some great podcasts. The failcast's just not one of them.

Thanks to the BOAD thread on this same board, I've been listening to "Uhh Yeah Dude", a great podcast featuring two guys just bullshitting about their lives, news, etc. It's kinda like what BOAD used to be before Dukes inexplicably decided BOAD listeners should be more interested in the antics of Dan Greasy/Dick Smokehand/Big Hands Bob/Todd the Racist/randos-that-are-forgettable-beyond-whatever-nickname-Dukes-assigns than Oscar and Drab.

Speaking of Oscar, he's the main reason I still listen to this show, along with Buzz (and just general habit). When someone earlier asked about "When's the last time you laughed at the show?", for me if there's a laugh to be had it almost always comes from those two. Unfortunately it's easy for that to be overshadowed by Robbay, the Mark Reynolds of the crew (swinging hard, swinging often and almost always striking out).

Yeah, politics is high on this list of things about which LFF knows nothing.
