I can't answer that, but I will say that Mike has a long, baffling history of telling his audience things that make him look bad, and being seemingly proud of it.

Is it possible/acceptable to be a "Klub" member and fan of the show while still being annoyed by certain aspects, such as Mike's complete lack of tech savviness and Robb's inability to not turn every sentence into a reason to make a joke?

In other words, can I be a fan of the show, a "Klubber", but not a fawning kiss ass, but also not despise Robb or Mike?

Follow up: I also often wonder if the things that are annoying or aggravating also make the show more colorful. Take away that stuff, and it might just be three guys shooting the shit, and that could be a horribly boring disaster.

No....it is simply not possible...A Klubber wishes Rob interrupted more...and wishes Mike knew less... If you don't eat every bite of the shit sandwich and ask, nay demand, for seconds, then you simply just aren't Klubber material...Try Harder....somebody has to and it sure as shit won't be Mike or Rob...

So the show would be WORSE without Rob's racism and OCD interruptions? Please explain how it would be worse if we actually got to hear a complete story.

I mean, those dumpy ass pants, those shoes, that vest, the belly, that low-rent table for a remote, that blue microphone wind screen. It's like one of those images where I see it and I think back to "The Mighty WJFK," Don and Mike in their prime, a syndicated force not to be fucked with... and then I see a remote off of a low-rent folding table in a parking lot, with Rob(b) as top billing... I just... I don't know, man. I don't know.

Is Mike still doing the show via remote broadcast from Fla? That model can't really be sustainable, right? The show has to be on its last legs.

I, for one, hope it falls quickly so Oscar can get back to being actually funny on BOAD.

Has the living pile of shit talked about what he did after he got fired from wjfk?

I assume the LFF had some kind of no compete that had to time out. Buzz sparked up and sat by the pool. Oscar threw in the towel and got a real job.

It took awhile based on the book for Oscar to get the LFF to buy into the podcast ideas. So, what was the pile of shit doing then? Taking care of his kids while his wife went off to work? Did he try to get another job?

If the shit pile hasn't droned on and on about trying to find another job in radio or had stories that he thought were funny about trying to get a McDonald's then he likely did nothing

Film the pile of shit trying to get a real job.

Pile of shit walking into the office wearing that plaid jacket and has to explain why the extra b is silent. That he played radio for a few years. Etc

Every time I see a pic of Rob smiling, his smile looks so fake. A genuine smile uses different muscles in the face and causes a crease to form beside one's eyes. Rob's got a lot of creases but none next to his eyes.

I look at TMOS similarly how I look at Carolla and Rogan. I like them all, but with caveats. Carolla rehashes ancient rants that get old, and he simplifies complex issues without looking at nuances. Rogan goes on tangents that make what would be good two hour podcasts into overly long three hour shows, plus has way too many MMA guys on. TMOS has too much Robb schtick and Mike ignorance. But I still like all those shows even with their flaws.

I like this Caveat character. Stick around.

When I first got here I was the " other viewpoint guy." Then something crazy happened on an episode and I started venting. Still technically a fan, though I left the FB page bc I didn't see a good reason to be associated with that group. (Would a casual TMOS fan be more shocked by this page or the FB page???)

I do think you can be a fan, be fair, and still find some egregious aspects of TMOS to complain about. Good luck.

Fact check Friday:

LFF: "Matthew Brady photographed Lincoln. Lincoln was the first president to be photographed".

He may have said sitting, but either way, he is off by 20 years. Martin Van Buren was the earliest prez to be photographed, but wasn't in office. Neither was Andrew Jackson. William Henry Harrison is the correct answer, Mike.

Sure, that's perfectly reasonable.
I was a fan (not Klub or anything) and still wish the best for the guys.

After Buzz left it went downhill some, and Robb over-compensating started to grate on me so I stopped watching/listening. I also miss RJ there, annoying Mike. That was great.

Now, I feel a bit sad for TMOS with everything that's happened and hope they do better.

I come to this thread for the comedy, these guys here continue to break me up.

I finally figured out what pisses me off about Mike. There are people who are really smart and know it. I can live with that. There are people who are really smart but act like they don't know it. I can live with that, too, though sometimes the "play dumb" shtick gets old. There are people who are stupid who know they are stupid. I appreciate the honesty. But what I can't stand are complete morons who think they are brilliant. Jesus, the fucking ego and total lack of self-awareness drives me up the fucking wall. This describes Mike.

I belong to a watch forum and I've never seen an argument over watches. Everyone is mellow and friendly. It also has areas for cigar talk. I basically go over there for that. I like to see what everyone is smoking. If you go to a forum where everyone is 40+ you won't encounter douche bags and McDonalds chefs. (Good one, M)

Thanks FHC, I'll listen to it sometime this weekend.

Just finished Thursday's show and the part about Pony not going to Maine was pretty painful to listen to. To start with, he obviously doesn't like being on mic because it usually ends up like this show did. Too many questions that lead to an uncomfortable admission that someone in his family is sick, he clearly told Mike that he would discuss it with him after the show, but since that is Mike's time he wanted to get it over with on the show. It was Thursday and they were already going to have to do the bonus show after the regular so Mike didn't want to have to spend any extra time after that.

The part about the airfare is understandable to me too, Pony's young and has never arranged his own travel, didn't realize how much the cost went up as you got closer to the flight date. His situation was better than what my wife's mother and sister did on their first ever flight, they were coming to visit us in Oregon and I made sure they got their tickets months in advance, then when the flight day got closer I kept telling them to get to the airport at least an hour before the flight(small airport, easy to get through security and to any gate in that amount of time). As normal for them, they arrived at the airport about 20 minutes AFTER the plane left. Their excuse? We had tickets, we didn't think it would leave without us. Needless to say after a 22 hr lesson in stand-by flying, they've never been late for another.

I'm surprised that people here are shocked that Mike comes across as genuinely stupid in his book. You guys who lost your $225 weekly check when O'Meara's went into bankruptcy should already know how stupid he is.

I think I commented on the retardation of Don and Mike in one of my first posts. I mean, seriously, I would rather talk with Tom Gavin about anything of substance. D&M always struck me as drooling mouth breathers.

The show would be GREATLY improved if Tom or Dennis were brought back to discus politics or current events on a daily basis. That would be just like a TV political talk show on Faux or something. Brilliant. I'd tune back in.

Oh, did I mention here that I bought a new set of Nike Coverts golf clubs? I think I did, but I'm not sure. For you golf guys, go check them out. Amazing clubs.

Hey, what happened to OWS and Viriolic Hatred? Think LFF had him offed? The last post was awhile ago:

Enthusiasm for "Vitriolic Hatred" on FFXU > enthusiasm for TMOS on...well, any forum, really. (Noting that the TMOS Fan Club almost never talks about the show...they only post stupid shit to try to get Mike, Robb, and Oscar's attention).

We've almost got all the tech elements in place-- I'll make a post later tonight or tomorrow re: the specific clips we're looking at for the first few episodes. (I started with the idea of doing a retrospective "Greatest Hits" show to get things started, but when making that outline, quickly realized it was way, way too much for one episode...so I'm thinking about dividing up the first three episodes into shows featuring Mike, Robb, and Oscar/supporting characters, respectively.)

Btw, this may be pointless, but what the hell-- Mike, if you're reading, if you want to do a cameo on "Vitriolic Hatred," or voice the intro? Consider this your formal invitation. No bullshit, no strings attached-- completely sincere offer. I'll also offer to Robb and/or Oscar-- if you want to do any voice work for the show, consider this your invitation. I'd even be thrilled with a "Hi, this is Whomever, and I NEVER listen to the Vitriolic Hatred podcast."

No?

Edit: I suppose it's only fair to include contact information in such a message: ows.ffxu@gmail.com. That's your go-to for any contact regarding the show, by the by-- suggestions, feedback, whatever. Legal threats, blah blah blah.

Just no fucking "pinups of the day." (It's the Internet, I don't need help finding porn.)

I just logged on to DCRTV, and the first banner at the very top of the site is for "Open Mike". So yes, he's still paying for the top spot.

It doesn't matter who Dave likes, he'll advertise anyone who pays.

Dear Elmo,
So you belong to a watch forum and everyone there is mellow and friendly? That is because that is the appropriate place for your watch-related posts. That is the point I was trying to make. How mellow and friendly would they be if I went on the watch forum and posted several times about The Mike Omeara Show? I have to believe that they would tell me to shut the hell up and go away. You're so desperate to tell someone, ANYONE, about your golf / Maui / watches lifestyle that you shove it in here and then behave as though we're being closed-minded because we have less than no interest. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that people you know avoid you. Oh, wait, that's right - you're a champ! Whatever you need to believe, kid.

Asshole, no one here knows who I am. I don't need your attention. I don't crave the attention of losers. What I am doing is mixing in SOMETHING other than the constant O'Meara fixation. I need a break from it. Seems like a little side attraction would be a relief. Are you that fucking obsessed with Rob that you have to post about him every second of every day? What the fuck is wrong with you?

Let the post flow into other side attractions for a little relief and interest. Or are you that fucking obsessed and jealous sitting there in your underpants that you cannot tolerate any possible distraction from Mike and Rob? Jesus, you are losers indeed.

I'm totally not interested in "hot watch talk" and I don't really want to read about it , when I click on a thread specifically created to celebrate the failcast.

Moving on:

I've thought about knocking on the door of the 1903 Vic and pulling the "I used to live here many years ago and may I look around" move.

What are the chances the carpet is the same?

Our husbands, particularly when they are in public, fail Oscar Wilde's definition of a gentleman: someone who is never rude unintentionally.

Though it's fair to say Mr. Wilde was never in a Cracker Barrel or a Costco.

About VH, if anyone is willing to voice it, I'm more than willing to do the drop-ins, audio clean up and whatever else it needs. I don't know what happened with OWS either. I can also help with getting setup to record, programs and tutorials, etc., as long as you have a mic, any mic other than a built in will work.

Jhopkins, I personally think visiting the Vic borders on the creepy side, but do what you want, and like peekza said take lots of pictures.

I'm starting to feel sorry for you poor bastards. You remind me of my brother. He lives in Brooklyn and spends a lot of time in Manhattan. He has a Master's Degree in philosophy from the University of Chicago and is no dummy, yet he dresses like he got his clothes from Wal-Mart 30 years ago. Wears a cheep watch also like you guys. It's hard for me to been seen with him. It's not like he is poor; he just sees no reason to look good.

The reason is subtle, but it is important for the champ: You have to be associated with quality. This is a psychological thing. It's not to show off. That is for kids. It's the same reason I cannot drive a cheap car like you guys - it just makes me feel like a loser. I can't afford to think like that. Really, literally. I can't afford for any part of my brain to be lowered by association with cheapness. This is why the champ has a fine watch - every time you look at it you are reminded of quality.

And, of course, it's nice to get better service at restaurants.....

I know my point will not be appreciated here, but perhaps there are a couple fellas I can encourage. Don't let cheapness touch you!

Just want to point out that these little spats dont mean a goddamn thing for the longevity of this thread. For the last 100 pages we've had a minimal amount of infighting, especially considering the first 100-200 pages.

Bottom line: we gotta keep ourselves entertained somehow. If that means we have to listen to enzo and Mike D spout off about watches and a few others attack them for it, whatev. TMOS will do something stupid next week and we'll be back to business as usual.

Actually, you are totally wrong. The nerds here are not attacking me because I brought up watches and interrupted their eternal hatred of Mike O'Meara. They attacked me for the exact same reason they attack O'Meara and Rob. We are successful and have made some money. THAT is what they can't stand. Rob is not rich, but he has name recognition in a large area. The losers here resent it and have nothing to show for their lives. This is what drives this thread.

I use a watch. Men wear watches.

And I don't use an iPhone because I actually understand tech and I'm not gay. Little girls check their phones.

So please do me a favor and shut the fuck up right after you fuck off.

K thanks.

I have to disagree. This thread exists because Mike took a shit all over the great material that was D&M with this abomination of a podcast.

And it exists because Rob is a complete piece of shit that needs to be eradicated from the world. He's an abortion gone wrong. That fat heap of dung doesn't have "name recognition", he has Mike's dick in his mouth which gets him mic time.

Actually, you are totally wrong. This is a TMOS thread. I don't give a shit about your watch.

There is something wrong if you need to come here and point things out about yourself.

Moving on:
We were strong with the VH stuff. BubbyMan and I are working on it.

I haven't listen to the FailCast in years (other than the O story about Kara a few weeks ago) so, I can on;y react to what is said by people that post here that still listen, which there seems to be fewer and fewer of.

The book, well, I think O read "how to get rich from kindle books" and that is why that exists.

I'll do my best to suffer thru the show the week after next.

One of my missions here is to make Rob a star. I'm sure he reads this. I'm pointing out to him that Mike is pretty stupid. Clearly, Rob is much more intelligent. He doesn't need to suck up so much. Secondly, Rob is already a minor celebrity, so he doesn't need to be so nervous about his legacy and standing. He's a big deal among the Virginia dopes. He really doesn't need O'Meara.

I also think that he will cut down on his cruelty. I think he has heard me. Making fun of the faceless woman is really not so funny. I think he sees that now.

I'm betting that you will hear real improvement with him in the coming weeks.

Gotta give it to enzo. Trolling level: 9001.

"I just listened to half of the Rob and Joe show on More or whatever it is. It is MUCH better than the Fraudcast©. Two guys who know how to hold a conversation. I don't even know who they are. There is no wacky morning zoo sound effects. There is no morning zoo fake laughing. There is no morning zoo nervousness. No references to Bob Hope......"

"I've always thought the Fraudcast® would be better without O'Meara. The others are simply better when the evil fat gangster is not standing behind them with a baseball bat"

"Why in God's name would any normal person want to see a VIDEO of these clowns"

"We certainly don't have to go to Mike's political beliefs to know he is a piece of shit and he loves ass-kissers."

These are just a small sample of the posts you made here before you decided to go insane. You keep talking about "the nerds here attacking you and O'Meara out of jealousy" and that they "have nothing to show for their lives and thats what drives the thread". Well what exactly were you doing for the hundreds of posts you made on here complaining about Mike and the show just like every other poster? Now all of a sudden, people that do exactly what you were doing are losers and jealous of you? Give your head a shake. You got ripped apart for being a douche and now you are turning on the posters here. Too bad for you, you can click on someone's user name and look at all of their previous posts. You aren't fooling anyone.

My theory on enzo:

Back when he was talking about banging chicks in high school, he got called on it for being a douche. He realized he'd gone too far, and people were annoyed, but by then he didn't know how to get out of it and save face. Therefore, he had to go with the "champ" schtick , even though it's not funny, interesting, or relevant. Now he's stuck playing this douchebag character, when the honorable thing to do would be to man up and admit it's some misguided attempt at humor.

Thoughts?

Back when I was in semenary school there was a person there who put forth the proposition that you can petition the Lord with prayer. Petition the Lord with prayer. Petition the Lord with prayer. You can not petition the Lord with prayer.
