I'm still amazed Mike can attract "interns" for this operation. What do they get out of it? No way they get college credit for it like you do at WJFK. Certainly aren't being paid.

I love how O'Meara says to Oscar that getting the Christmas tree from the attic was a man's job, then 2 seconds later says he made an intern get his tree from his attic. Classic O'Meara.

So I'm listening to Oscar try tell his story and Robb and Mike just keep interrupting him. It felt like Robb and Mike were listening to another show and commenting on it while listening. I usually work when I listen and I had to stop because it was so painful. I was trying to listen to Oscar and was cringing every time the other two chimed in. I so wish Oscar had more backbone. I gotta believe other radio dudes on shows similar to this one would say something if they were interrupted as much as Oscar was. I can understand a few well timed jokes but what Mike and Robb do to him is disrespectful. He needs to tell them in no uncertain terms to shut up. In addition to him getting it off his chest, which I gotta believe would make him feel better, wouldn't it make great radio too?

Also, someone on Facebook posted something about how bored Oscar looks on the live feed thing. He needs the money but I bet he'd love to tell them to F off.

They released the trailer for it and Mike's voice was nowhere to be heard and they haven't spoken of it since.

Oscar,

You disappoint us. On Friday's show, you sat there, listening first hand to Mike's latest all-too-predictable boorish account of his latest stupidity (the hotel incident), and offered no reality check. You actually took his side throughout. Your kiss-assed performance was worse than anything Robb has done. (And lord knows, he's done a lot.)

Yech.

The show normally sucks but today's open was especially painful. My god today they did a show for each other, not the audience. The whole network is shit. I had hopes for Mickeys show but it is just as shitty as TMOSHIT. I love this forum to be able to express my displeasure with the show. I thank you guys for your time and the opportunity to vent. I enjoy the posts even good old RP2, despite his attempts as a troll he is entertaining. Bless you all this holiday season my brothers and sisters in angst. Here is to a happy 2014 and an improved TMOS or it's demise. A prediction, Tod will be gone and Oscar will move on to a more engorged tit to suckle on. He will realize that obese Omearas teet dried up when Don left.

I call upon Oscar to man up. Oscar, you know you have to stop the ass kissing. What is there to lose, really? Why don't you start 2014 with a new tone. Why don't you challenge this old fat Jabba? He is going nowhere, but you have a possible future. Believe me, your future does not hang on kissing this guy's ass. If you want to really ENTERTAIN in this field, then you have to take a different TACK. I know you are Bolivian and do not know the finer points of English, but 'tack' is a sailing term. It means changing the direction of your boat into the wind. If you want a future, you must MAN UP. Call that fat ass on his bullshit. Really, what is he going to do, fire you???? I doubt this. He needs young blood. He depends on YOU. So FUCK HIM and start GETTING REAL. Is this too much to ask?????

Stop with the tee hee puppy sounds and pussy sounds. Is there a bunch of 13-year-old girls that are liking you on Facebook with this shit? STOP IT. YOU SOUND LIKE A MAJOR PUSSY. You are the only hope for this show. The other two have played and lost. Do not go down with them. Chart your own course. Find your nut sack before it is too late. Perhaps it is too late. I don't know. Maybe.

During LFF's commercial read on Friday, he ended with, "Right now" and paused. Oscar was oblivious (surprise), so LFF specifically TOLD Oscar to ask, "When?" so he could reply "RIGHT NOOUUW!" Is anyone surprised that at least part of the ass-kissing is demanded by LFF?

Yes, his resentment is understandable. LFF couldn't manage a two-car funeral. He didn't run that bar into the ground; he ran it six feet UNDER the ground. If the new manager isn't an alcoholic with anger issues, and can add, he's doing a better job than LFF did with the place. Therefore, in LFF-world, LFF is entitled to be angry at the guy.

According to O'Meara it was the city and ABC that made it impossible to run a bar in Manassas VA. Guess the rest of the bars didn't get O'Meara's memo amd continued running their business and making momey.

Oh, my God. I'm so grateful that I never heard that; my head may have exploded. The ABC can BARELY walk and chew gum. To really draw their attention, unless an establishment has a history of violence or crime associated with it, you have to REALLY fuck up. Serve underage. Overserve. Illegal advertised specials. Not have a manager in the house when the ABC stops by. LFF blaming the ABC -- while not surprising -- is hilarious. It's like a chronic speeder blaming the radar gun.

O'Meara's restaurant charged with 26 alcohol violations

By Keith Walker, Manassas Journal Messenger, Va.McClatchy-Tribune Regional News

May 13--O'Meara's restaurant racked up $26,000 in Virginia Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control fines and administrative costs between August 2006 and April 2007, according to ABC documents.

The ABC charged the restaurant at 8971 Center St. with a total of 26 violations.

The restaurant appealed the Virginia ABC hearing officer's decision to impose the fines, but withdrew the appeal, surrendered its license and closed in April 2008.

Surrendering the license rendered the fines moot, said Virginia ABC spokeswoman Becky Gettings.

"The fines are to keep their license in good standing," Gettings said.

Seven of the violations were for allowing the consumption of alcoholic beverages by a person the licensee knew or had reason to believe was intoxicated.

One violation held that the licensee enticed, urged or entreated patrons to purchase alcoholic beverages in violation of state law.

The restaurant was charged with seven counts of making gifts of alcoholic beverages in violation of Virginia law and eight counts of holding happy hour between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.

There were also two charges of allowing people who the licensee knew or had reason to believe were intoxicated to loiter on the premises.

One charge of making gifts of alcoholic beverages in violation of Virginia law was dismissed.

Gettings said there is no specific number of charges that would cause an establishment to be automatically shut down.

"Any hearing can result in fines, suspensions, dismissals or revocation," Gettings said.

Mike O'Meara, the owner of the restaurant, could not be immediately reached for comment.

And don't forget that Mike then had the gall to call the bar owner mean and call HIM out for HIS shitty attitude. Like, seriously almost in the same sentence:
I said "I don't even recognize the place. When I owned it, I had customers!" And the guy said "Yeah, but now that I own it, it makes money." And it's just part of the mean, crappy attitude around here. (loosely quoted)
Seriously?? How fucking delusional is this guy???? He honestly has no clue what an asshole he is!

I wonder what it's like to be totally infatuated with someone I don't know. Sure, a lot of people are obsessed with celebrities and know every detail about them, but what type of person has these feelings for a disc jockey. It's one thing to be a listener and learn details through that, but to come on an Internet forum and act like a psycho? You guys are a whole new type of loser.

I can hear the doughnuts digesting in your distended bellies, the guns being taken apart and cleaned obsessively, and the echo of your hand fondling your tiny member as it bounces off your desolate studio apartment walls. Rid yourself of the hatred you hold in your hearts and experience new things. I just feel sad for you.

POSSIBLE RESPONSES:

1. Jo Mama.
2. Oh, yeah?
3. They come, they go . . .
4. The LFF defenders fail to understand that those of us who can SMELL a pile of crap, and turn away, are entitled to lord that over those who EAT the pile of crap, and swear it's caviar.

It's so cute how you guys have names and acronyms for the show. It's almost like you care...a lot. Almost as if your entire day revolves around Mike. Funny how that works.

To answer BBC up there, it feels good? Nope, feels great.

I'm sorry; do you think you're the first LFF fanboy to show up as concern troll, worried for the attention spans/immortal souls/whatever of those who gleefully await the end of the LFF failcast? Been there; done that. I'm an old D&M fan, for sure. Slowly grew bored with the JFK show with LFF, and the following K&M disaster. . . and I can't take the failcast. I know former employees of Hank's Look-Around Cafe to whom LFF LIED through his teeth that they should keep working, that nobody would miss a check . . . and people didn't get paid.

So welcome aboard. Feel free to continue your little "tut-tut" routine. You're not the first; you won't be the last. But when the failcast finally folds its sad little tent, you'll hear the laughter right here.

I'm sure that you know "people" that worked at the restaurant. Good lord you are delusional. You are only driving my point home further -- you're a loser idiot that has no control over his own life so you act like you exist in someone else's. I'm not going to be sad when it folds because I have other things to keep me content. Unlike you.

To the guy that took the picture of my friends, want to go out some time? I have really soft hands.

Fuckwaddle has said many times that the problem with the bar was that he wasn't able to devote full time to it (to be fair, he did have to be at work 4 hours a day in those days). I submit that the problem was that he spent TOO MUCH time there.

You sir, are a word-smith indeed. You have just clearly and completely described the TMOS fansite. The location of pathetic souls who kiss ass daily in an effort to get a mention on the show. Much like Larry King's hair, a good podcast grows sir! TMOS has peeked and is on the sad path of decline. How are those bonus show sales going?

Absolutely. O'Meara's was Mike's unlimited open bar and when he got drunk (every night) he would buy rounds, effectively giving the bar away. I think you can trace the beginning of O'Meara's overall decline with his purchase of the bar. I wonder how many of those intoxicated loitering charges were simply a drunk Mike hanging around with nobody having the guts to make him leave.

It would be funny if all those ABC fines were directly caused by O'Meara.

Of course they were all directly caused by Mike, he was the owner.

Go back to paintyourbaldspot.com and listen to those shows towards the end of DNM. All the ingredients for the failcast were well in place.

Mike would go into some half-assed comedic take on whatever Don was trying to do and Blobb would be right there in the background he he - ing his ass off like a little girl.

That's why the fights got so much uglier. Because Don had gone thru hell and looked over and saw his "partner" phoning it in and nursing a long night of buying round after round "on the house" and "not wanting the night to end."

Blobb must have globbed on to Mike at some point when he got kicked off the microphone because he always knew if he kissed enough ass Mike's waning talent would allow him a jobb.

Good theory except one key element...DON sucks by himself. DON & MIKE were good together. THEY BOTH SUCK BY THEMSELVES.

Kudos to Robb, since I gather you write most of them. (I'm a little behind, the most recent one I just listened to is from #956, "Serve immediately with artesian breads and satanic religious artifacts". I nearly wet myself!)"

Exactly. It won't grow - rarely do they seem to hear from any "new" listeners. But LFF will keel over way before they completely lose that loyal simpleton base from the D&M days.

Remember folks, Mike doesn't want you to text and drive. He even wanted to put out a P.S.A. to tell people not to text and drive.

But if you want to get drunk off your ass and drive around, like Robb Spewak did/does, that is fine.

Great way to run a restaurant Mike!!!

LFF said he gave his mom Sheri's Berries. He meant to say, the berries I got for free from one of my sponsors I re-gifted to my elderly mom.

LFF = LOSER

Sheesh I'll see you guys tomorrow. I will spend the rest of today trying to get that PSA out of my mind. (Good point though)

Herndon is not that close to Manassas, yet LFF regularly gets shit-faced at Jimmy's and treks down 28 to his 1903 Vic.

Regardless, I guarantee FDB also texts and drives. I mean, how many road trips have they filmed themselves while driving 70 mph? Fucking hypocrites.

I'm torn.

I listened to a failcast the other day (and I read this forum almost daily) and I listened to D&M for years.

Maybe FDB actually thinks what his podcast is, is actually funny. Maybe he does think Rob(b)'s kraft post is super funny. So, maybe he always wanted to produce content like this and finally has his chance. Maybe we are getting what the FDB's vision always was.

Or, maybe this is what they have and they know they can't do better.

Or, maybe they are making some type of living off this and well fuck it, it is better than having a PD yell at you.

Even by the standards of the early Failcast, the Failcast is failing. Compare the first State Show with the second one. The first one was an actual stage show. The second was a bunch of fat guys sitting at a table and talking about a PowerPoint. Look at the road trips. They rented RVs, went to games and put themselves in weird situations. Now, LFF acts like a trip to Costco is comparable to summiting Everest. Ronic wasn't great, but he actually tried to make the Failcast a success. Now, it's just pathetic.

Anyone know what the project was? Did Mike just put together an audition tape but talked about it on the show as if he had the gig, or did he get fired?

Don't know the exact name, but I think it was some space/universe thing, like Cosmos-lite. I think Robb was helping with some recording from an actual script, but don't remember if was an audition or an actual gig.

Well, as someone who has listened to Mike for 20+ years, I can assure you with all confidence that Mike IS fully capable of such vindictiveness. He's got major issues with resentment, jealousy, envy and schadenfreude, and the evidence is right there in the shows for anyone to hear. Other people's success is nearly unbearable for him, especially the success of people in his immediate circle. By his own admission he's even jealous of his best friend, Jimmy Cirrito, for managing to own a successful bar/restaurant when Mike proved incapable of such a feat (though how Jimmy has managed to do it when he's tanked 24/7 is a mystery).

It's not a coincidence that the RELM network is filled with people who used to associated with Mike for years. He drives people away like crazy by treating them like servants whose only role is to act as support beams for HIS success.

Jimmy Cirrhosis has a drive to manage a successful business. Most bar owners are drinkers, and in fact good businessmen. It's their passion to have a good joint to hang out in. And good food helps. Gotta have the passion...and you will succeed...no passion, no point...

Cool, well if Robb was helping Mike record it, I'm sure it had waaaaay too much compression/limiter and reverb, like some dated jive-ass top 40 sounding shit.

As for the PSA above, Robb would find her "very brave" and giggle when she talked. What a total asshole.

LFF owned a bar because he wanted to do exactly what he did...act like a big shot by giving away booze, plowing friends with drinks and doing crazy things like doing Happy Hour at midnight. It's a lucky thing for him ABC stepped in when it did because it was only a matter of time before someone ended up dead while driving drunk. ABC probably saved LFF from himself and a major lawsuit/criminal charges.

26 VIOLATIONS!!!
$26,000 in fines!!!!

Way to go O'Meara. It is real responsible to get people liquored up and then put them on the road. A couple of extra dollars in your pocket is worth the risk of someone killing themselves or others.

Way to go asshat.

I am sure Sharon Goddard is proud of her son Robb. He stays at home, drinks and masturbates multiple times every day while Cary goes out and earns the paycheck, puts food on the table, and provides the health care insurance that their family so desperately needs.

Weren't Kraft recipe TV/Radio spots from like 50 years ago?

Or is Kraft airing them again these days?

"May God have mercy on your soul."

What about Robb and his "very brave" comments about a woman getting her face ripped off and the laughing at her speech problems. Should God have mercy on his soul as well, or do you think that's comedy gold?

I'm still trying to figure out where I condoned that or said Robb is hilarious. But since you're asking, yes, I wish he wouldn't laugh at that and may God have mercy on his soul. What I do find funny is that you are expecting me to be as extreme in my love for the show as you are in your hatred.

Posting pictures of their family is what twisted fucks with an obsession do. Or am I completely wrong and stalking is funny now? Separate yourself from their lives and get your own.
