Good job, John, raise Mike's awareness that we pay attention and want a good product!
I think they read this stuff here also and take note.
I've seen that Oscar, after we posted about it, is more plugged in on the show lately, more participatory. Oscar started a story and prefaced it with "And Robb don't interrupt me this time." :)
Robb still bugs but maybe 5% less now.
Mike hasn't missed a show hungover for...hmmm...awhile?
If they'd do the part about more effort and originality it would reap benefit also.
We're good for the show I think. And it's funny.

I remember sending Marc an email over a year ago bitching about the bonus shows being so infrequent. I was a bonus show subscriber for the first year, then quarterly, then canceled. His response to me was something to the effect of "We already put out 4 bonus shows this month, and we only promised 3-5 per month. You should be thankful"
With an attitude like that, they will never reach the level they apparently aspire to. So sad....
As a recent first time father, I can't wait to hear what happens once Mike Jr. arrives. It will be a disaster. I'm better Carla leaves his lazy fat ass within the year.

Hours later, still not working. There is no excuse for downtime. Turn off new comments (which never get posted anyway) and don't update the (www.)mikeomearashow.com DNS entry until the new site works. For. Fucks. Sake. I can only guess this is Marc's "deal", and it's truly shameful that LFF and Failcast Krew let things continue in this fashion. Even more reason to cut him out of the profit share and make him work for commission. Maybe then he'd land an advertiser that wasn't a google search affiliate deal.

I'm no lawyer, but I bet they get out of fraud by saying 3-5, and then delivering 3 or 4 instead. They are still stealing people's money either way. They deliver an unfunny show and they don't do it as often as they said they would.

Did anyone notice a few days ago when Mike was in a pissy mood and asked Marc about the button on the website users could click to automatically be shopping Amazon? I think Marcs response was something like "we're working on it" and Mike immediately blew him off and said "yeah whatever."

You forget, Mike is healthy, he will send you all the test results and scans and everything saying how healthy he is. The problem is Mike only hears what he wants. Those tests are part of an overall picture, a picture that includes an obese man who does no exercise. He's delusional as well as stupid.

Exactly. I'm 6'3", 260 lbs. I'm at least 30 pounds over where I should be, and my doctor's on my ass about it, and I'm trying. And I look like a Russian teenage gymnast next to LFF.

This is how the podcast era ends? Site down, no show... no updates... no tweets.
With all of the build up I would have expected that there would have been a big "FINAL" show/send off... a teary retrospective... something.

The show is up on the libsyn site: http://directory.libsyn.com/shows/view/id/20446 which less than 0.1% of the listeners will ever find. I think there haven't been any new shows on iTunes for days. At the beginning of today's show, they explain why: their intern (a recent college graduate with a music major I think) is the "IT Consultant". And, shockingly, doesn't seem to know what he is doing. Amazingly, LFF seems to know that the site is down, and barely mentions it. I think he's so delusional, he thinks it's still getting out there somehow, or he really just wants to hear himself stumble over his words for an hour a day. Over 25 minutes of hockey nonsense today. Since he played high school hockey, LFF is obviously an expert.

Now it's just coasting to see how far they can get. It's a tribute to the nationwide affiliate network that D&M had. By the way, I've been a motorcycle rider all my life and have to say that Harleys are loud and slow and made for old fat motherfuckers who don't know how to ride. Most motorcycle accidents are either young assholes on super fast bikes or these old fat asses. First off, the kid shooting video of the cop parked on the sidewalk so he could get a tasty treat at 7-11 was 100% in the right for asking for his name and badge #. And yes, that was a terrible interview. No one in that room has any interviewing skill, whatsoever. That was the worst part of the JFK TMOS show, they booked way too many filler interviews because LFF couldn't be bothered (much like today) to do any prep. Interviews and phone scan random calls from the listeners. That could be where fat man is headed, so zero show prep is required.

Look, given all the circumstances (daily show, long commute, possible verbal abuse, sizable time commitment, splitting the money five ways, technology investments, etc.) these guys have to be making enough to make it worth it. They haven't lost one of the 5 guys in all this time, after all the good and bad things that have happened.
Based on that, I must imagine that the money is either decent or decent enough to make one think it could really take off. I don't know what that number is, but these guys live in an expensive area and mostly don't have other jobs.
Side note: I think this site led me to believe that TMOS had fallen off on the iTunes rankings - I was surprised to find them at #34 in comedy, in some really good company.

Joe Rogan, Opie & Anthony, WTF, Carolla and Norm McDonald are all in the top 34 of ALL POSSIBLE PODCASTS. Now that is saying something.
As of this Morning, TMOS is #54 with a WHOLE BUNCH of unheard of people above them. Seeing that they split this up 5 ways and give an equal stack to Chronic who is a master bullshitter - and noticing that they have little or no viable advertisers - I can't imagine the income could be that high. I still think Fat Ass would leave them all with even a small market job. No question. The others are just part-time sorts of hacks. What else are they going to do? Without their wives and parents, I think they would be in real trouble.
