Not sure how others feel but it seems to me the fatcast has become more and more just a place for Mike to beg for handouts. It’s no shock that the pot smoking, living with his parents when he’s 40 idiot isn’t managing to get new advertisers and it’s showing. Not only do they come out with stupid t-shirts to fund the show (and create contests that listeners can enter only if they buy one) but now Mike has this whole baby registry thing. He apparently has no shame. I would be embarrassed to push something like that. How much you want to bet that more than half the crap listeners buy for them will get returned and Mike will pocket the cash and fund his motorcycle/hockey excursions.

That ZombieWoof fellow on DCRTV routinely takes Fat Baby to task for his alcoholism, morbid obesity, and no-shows. Good times. I myself wish cancer on Robbay's son.

And now that Melissa Ronick is back on the market, I'm in hog heaven. That's one barely-used vagina.

I can't wait for Mike's son to be born. He claims he will be more involved this time around... Right.... I'm sure he will. Like he's claimed he'll lose weight or stop drinking or do anything that involves a modicum of discipline / self control.

While I honestly feel sorry for his son, I look forward to the amplified train wreck. I wonder how long his sycophantic staff will put up with it before snapping. Carla will do a great job raising the kid (after she inevitably leaves him), but until then, I hope the damage is limited.

They should rename the show to "The Mike Omeara Pod-a-thon". Or instead of the 700 Club where you have to donate $700 to be a member - as Robb has pointed out numerous times - the "Bought a t-shirt Club".

That ZombieWoof fellow is former local DJ Paul Bicknell. He spends a great deal of time on DCRTV bashing anyone and everyone, all under fake names. He bashes Mike with the ZombieWoof name, Don with the Real Ahhhh name, and a slew of other people with roughly a dozen or more other names. And no, I am not exaggerating. Don't feed the troll by giving him the attention. Let DCRTV Dave's legion of psychotics stay where they are.

LFF will be a great dad this time around. That's why he is talking about needing "daddy alone time" before the kid is even born.

I can just imagine the nightmare LFF's life will become when Carla's momma grizzly gene kicks in. No more podcast in the living room. No more living next to a busy street. No more working while the kid is little. No more drinking or smoking around the kid. Swim lessons and soccer 8 am on Saturdays. CHURCH!

More then LFF's jaw is going to become unhinged in the months and years ahead.

Really looking forward to the first time the baby is napping, and the fatcast crewe wakes him up. The next sound you hear will be a bunch of fat losers being chased down the street by an angry mom with a hedge clipper.

Memo to LFF: Gotta find another spot for the fatcast. You can't have it in the house while there's a newborn in there. Just can't. Try not to be stupid.

Oh god it will be Jim Nance today. Think I'll pass on that.

You are correct, sir, the Fatcast can't continue in a house with a newborn. I'd like to see it moved to Buzz's house. That way Buzz could grow a pair and get mouthy up on Morey Amsterdam. Actually, Buzz should just drop out and be a pool boy for his doctor friend. That would be less humiliating.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it illegal to have a contest where you HAVE to buy something?

I thought thats why with every contest (like on supermarket product packaging) if you dig deep enough you can enter without purchase via phone, email, or call.

Is it possible these knuckleheads could actually be making enough money to survive? They have been around a pretty long time now, and if they weren't making money, I see them folding up the tent and going elsewhere (where, who knows since Robb has never had a real job outside of WJFK and Safeway and Mike wouldn't be able to handle a commute). I don't think they are getting rich, but how much would it have to be, per person, to survive? $10K ea a year? $15K?

The topic of how much money the Krewe makes has been covered and will be covered again. Math whizes have crunched numbers and people have made wild ass guesses, but in the end, who knows how much they make. I see your point, would they do this if they didn't make money, but when you really look at it, the only one (before Marc's divorce issues) who needed the money was Mike. Buzz has side work and had a wife working, Robb has a wife working, Oscar had income from various sources. Perhaps Mike's finances aren't as bad as he lets on...hahahahahaha, right.

I did notice that today.
The 1st time I heard Mike do Jim Nance it cracked me up this was nowhere near as good. It may have been because he prepared it and was reading from a script so he forgot to do the impression while reading.

So fatass skipped the Friday show because he got too drunk Thursday night. And again he ended the story with "Marc went home, and I didn't. that's all I'm saying."

Don would have milked this story... asked Mike to guess how much he had to drink, made an interesting bit out of it etc.

Don said it best, "Mike doesn't care about what goes out on the airwaves"

For those keeping track at home, that is two shows Mike has been able to do and two appearances he has been able to make because he was too drunk/hungover.

This doesn't cover the drunken Quench or Jimmie's appearances.

And several times on Monday Mike said they "had a scheduled day" on Friday, which is complete crap. He basically admitted to being too hungover, then said it was scheduled. But never mentioned on Thursday, other than what they would discuss on Friday (the Masters). Someone call him out, please! He gave Oscar crap the whole time he was in China, and gave Buzz a hard time for missing a show because of prostate cancer tests. I don't expect LFF to change, I would just like to hear him try and justify his alcoholism.

So can we recap Mike's Thursday night? Keeping in mind that we only are able to know what happened "before Marc Ronick went home. I stayed out. We won't be discussing that"

So he starts drinking at a bar alone. Several drinks in, his buddies arrive (including Ronick and others). They gain access to the ice-level area where you can eat and drink for free. Mike continues to get hammered. Yells at Pat Sajack. Pat Sajack doesn't recognize him even though "I interviewed you 25 years ago". Mike is sad. Then Mike insults him for being older than he is. Then Mike on the show makes fun of him for having a big head and being waif-like. I'd rather have a big head and be slim than 400 pounds and in failing health.

Then Mike eats fajita meat. He throws in that he's leaving out the carbs. What about the 12 beers you've had? That has carbs you moron.

Then Mike decides he has to take a shit. He gets in a stall and ooopppssss. It turns out it's only gas. As Marc Ronick chronicled "people were running out of the bathroom laughing".

Then the mystery. Marc goes home and Mike stays out. Only to have to cancel Friday's show. The show that starts at approximately 11AM in his living room. Seriously, I've been hammered. I've been hungover. But not to the point that at 11AM I can't talk with 3 other people for an hour.

Mike, you ask the listeners to try harder. You beg them to keep your enterprise afloat. How can you not see that when you do these things you take a giant steaming shit on every listener?

Who's taking bets on whether or not Mike "had a night last night" in light of the Boston bombings. If there's something to blame it on, Mike will find it.

I'd even settle for a phoner but it's never going to happen because he's not really your friend. You met him. He admitted that he listened to the Don and Mike show when he was a kid, but he's a big shot now and he wouldn't give you the time of day.

Or mocking Hispanics or people who have been injured in accidents. I am sure Robb will tell ushow "very brave" the people who lost their legs are when they are interviewed on tv and then make fun or their Boston accents.

Oscar doesn't know much, but he's light years ahead of Mike and it's entertaining when he points out exactly how stupid LFF is. Buzz was offering suggestions, but not actually calling Mike a moron, and mostly just being bullied.

Visualizing Rob(b)'s enormous fat head jammed under the spout of the Freestyle machine while his poor wife is pushing buttons to give him different combos of sugar water.

Absolutely perfectly said...nice job. Mike truly is a lazy, fat fuck!

Now THIS is how you do a podcast:

Mike O'Meara keeps trying to do a Morning Zoo and acts surprised when no one wants to listen.

Wake up, Grandpa. The 80's are over.

So why isn't Ronick trying to get people to call in for interviews?

Seems that being the size and quailty of podcast fatso says he runs celebs would want to do his podcast??

He is an expert interviewer and a celeb himself so he can talk to them on their level.

Like said in pages before about watching a good train wreck or car accident but this one is dragging on to the point I am losing interest.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reformat the show.. TRY HARDER you lazy asshats!!!!

I've always assumed that the fatcast would implode, sooner rather than later, because (a) the product is so dreadful; and (b) the participants are either almost out of the biz voluntarily (Buzz); involuntarily (Rob(b)); or irrelevant. But I'm starting to think that as long as there's one more nickel to be squeezed out of t-shirt sales, they'll keep rolling, no matter how tiny and silly the show is.

I wonder how it works when the miserable fat fuck is "overserved," to this point, and can't drag his bloated toxic corpse-to-be down the stairs for the show. Do you think Rob(b) has already called around to the other losers? "Oh, he's a bit under the weather." Or do they all show up, and get told that it's another detox day?

Anyone notice LFF chooses legitimately sponsored events to shit on? Oakton Wine. NOVA? Oncor (I'm assuming they sponsor TNT). This is a self-destructive pattern of behavior. He is sabotaging himself and the others. This is the same thing he does with his personal life (making Carla sleep in a car). There is some deep-seeded self-loathing going on here.

Not sure how many of you are also Big O and Dukes listeners, but this week's show had an awesome 40-minute recap from Oscar about the trip. It didn't include Asian music or racial "zings" every 10 seconds. There was maybe 5 minutes of overlapping material but a ton of new, interesting stuff. Plus more details about the brothel they wound up in. It's actual storytelling! So I recommend listening if you're at all interested.

I'm just hoping the Fatcast is moved out of the baby house and over to Buzz's, Oscar's or Head's place. And then these guys see that they have one particle of power over Morey Amsterdam. It is my prayer that this causes a rift in the Force and they get a little bit mouthy - Like, "Excuse me, I was talking." That would be awesome.

I did want to hear Oscar's story. I haven't listened to the Fatcast since he left. Looks like I have missed anything at all.

He was bragging about not eating guacamole? What, because it's fattening?
Yet it doesn't bother him that he was too hungover to do a show at nearly noon the next day?

Why didnt TMOS take that?
Is it because they tape during the day and it could interupt regular business? OR
Is it Fatso is too lazy to get in his car to drive to the building??

P.S.

I just literally unhinged my jaw. Pathetic.

Also sad that Oscar apparently can't share the one interesting story to enter that living room in the past 6 months without Spewak ruining it.

Seriously, enough Spewak. Zero value to the show. He wouldn't be worth it if he was an unpaid intern. He brings the show down, so maybe it is more accurate to say "negative value".

I assume that Chronic writes the show summaries every day and some days I think that it must really be a chore. How do you describe a rambling unfunny mash-up of suck and make it sound compelling to download?

Don's show yesterday had purpose. He spoke with emotion and intent about a specific topic that meant something to him and DID THINGS ABOUT IT.

I often just drift off while listening to the Fatcast and work on other things. And the high-pitched Blobb cackle just drives home the point even further that there is simply nothing there.

Couple that with Mike's warbled microphone and Buzz's constant throat-clearing and it all just becomes so sad to think what it used to be.

There's so much wrong here. I just feel this odd urge to see it through to it's inevitable and quiet end. Not sure why.

I guess Boston is an Irish town and, apparently, Fatass is Irish. I think I've heard him mention this. Also, the Irish people feel more emotions than other people and especially when something tragic happens on Irish territory. The Irish have a sensitivity that the rest of us couldn't really understand - thus the continual pulverizing alcoholism.
