99% of the posts on here conform to his very simple rules. In the 3+ years I've been posting here, I've only ever seen him get directly involved and take action against specific users a handful of times, and then only after a lot of provocation. This is the only board I've ever seen where someone like Lizzie or Eli would be allowed to post for more than a day. Another board I visit will permaban you if you make three disparaging remarks in a year.

What did you post that Cary deleted in violation of your 1st Amendment rights? Why should he allow one or two assholes to intentionally disrupt the service he's providing? Why don't any of you free speech advoctes go start your own website and run it the way you think Cary should run his site?

Again, when did the internet stop being something that exists in the real world?

Using your example, if a couple users went out of their way to disrupt a gay porn site (and thus reduce the enjoyment of the normal people using it), why should the owners put up with it?

This site was created "to be a public resource for all residents of Northern Virginia," and Cary's incredibly lenient when it comes to keepin this site pointed in that direction. That's why it makes people look even more like asses when they go out of their way to aubuse that.
