When I was little my parents made me try EVERYTHING with the hope that something would stick… tennis, gymnastics, swim team, basketball, soccer—you name it… I owned a team uniform for it. But it wasn’t until I tried dance that I found my “thing”. To me, there is no better release than an empty stage and loud music.
Unfortunately an illness sidelined me for a while… and during the recovery period came medication, bed rest, and….you guessed it—weight gain.
I have never been one to give up on things—especially myself… so I hit the gym. I read up on weight training and cardio, befriended trainers, and even hired a couple of people to train me. I lost a few pounds, but it wasn’t until I cleaned up my diet that the weight really came off… 40 pounds! What you do in the gym is important—but sound nutrition will speak for 80% of your results.
My success helped me realize what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I have always wanted a job where I could make a difference… leaving my desk job to become a full time personal trainer would help me accomplish that. Now I want to help you accomplish all of your health, fitness, and diet goals.
