My definition? That driver in the Buick on Rockville Pike early on Thursday a.m. when he hit the guy on the scooter, then continued to driver for a mile with the scooter still being dragged by the front of his car. He was busted when he made a U-turn and started heading back to the scene of the crime. The scooter rider died.
Now, that's my definition of a sociopath.

The definition of the term "sociopath" is widely agreed upon... There is not much room for original thought when asking for the definition of certain words...
If you want original thought, why not asks for EXAMPLES of sociopaths?

Sociopaths are pretty common. It's thought that about 1 in 10 people are sociopaths. Very few reach the level if psychosis of Hitler or Ted Bundy. Most just like manipulating people as some sort of sick game. Usually it catches up with them in the end, and they end up alienating everyone close to them.

A sociopath can be a big hulking brute or a shriveled up old man in a wheelchair. A lot of women are sociopaths but are thought to be passive-agressive.
A sociopath can be Idi Amin or some ripoff artist begging with some phony story about running out of gas. They can steal pennies or millions, they can kill millions or just plain hurt your feelings.
The approach and game is as different as people are different, the damage and victims limited only by the sociopaths motivation and needs.

First, I think online anonymity brings out sociopathic tendencies in most people, you included. Second, being overly bold in real life is a pretty self-destructive tendency. If this is true then he shouldn't be allowed to post on this website where there could be children present. He could agree to meet a kid from this site and then molest him or her.
