Ok so what's the best way to get to my JOB while these two-wheel-riding butt pirates do their homo parade?
I live in Centreville, and need to get to Mt. Vernon by 5pm. Ideas??

I bet Popeyes will have plenty of chicken cooked, so if you're a few minutes late it shouldn't be a problem.

Please, for the love of God, have some respect. It just happened that the group of bikers had happened to arrive in the metro area during the early afternoon and rolling road closures were a part of the plan to protect this group of bikers. I'm not a biker, but this ride was done out of respect for the 9-11 victims. This is the 10th anniversary that is approaching in the coming month.
The bikers had to arrive in our area at that time because they started their journey in Pennsylvania earlier on Friday morning. Then, they had to arrive at Arlington - near the Pentagon and it happened to be on a Friday evening rush-hour. However, sufficient warnings were made and even the Federal Government encouraged their employees to tele-work. Finally, when the bikers leave Arlington / Crystal City, they will head to N.Y. The whole objective of the ride is to visit / ride by all 3 sites that were hit on 9-11. These "volunteer" riders only had a certain amount of time to ensure they could make it by all three sites.

So if I want to put my lawn chair in the middle of the road it's ok because I'm doing it to respect 9/11 victims?

By all means....please do it between the hours of 9:00pm and 11:00pm on Saturday night, middle lane of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. You will be a true patriot!
