Chupacabras in D.C. Suburbs? By Jane Watrel | Monday, Aug 15, 2011

It looks like a dog with severe mange. We had a similar dog loose in Reston that was living off of sunflower seeds in people's backyards a few years earlier. Somebody probably knows the breed with the kinds of features in the photograph,

I've been hearing some ghastly, shrieking, howling type sounds around Reston over the past 5 months. Heard em about 10 or so times now, all in the middle of the night, sometimes for an hour on end. Each time I've heard a single animal (no overlapping or response calls) and once I tracked its movement around my house, very quick and stealthy thing.

Crazy pro-gun coalition will use this as another reason to arm themselves to the teeth with Military assault rifles and RPGs, probably buy old Sherman Tanks and park it in the garage.

It's a big cat... Pointed ears, long tail, 5 toes. We had a cat in the hood that had 6 toes. Thats what we called him.."6 toes". ....He was a Hell of a cat.

My dog has five claws. His "dew claw" is close enough to the rest of his foot that it looks like your "five clawed" picture when he is laying down. He is a stray from West Virginia though, so he could be a crazy mutant hybrid.

Have u never seen a polydactyl cat before? They r also called Himmingway cats. They r cats that have extra toes. They can have up to 2 or 3 extra toes on their feet. Most have them on their front paws but they can also have them on the front and back paws. Cats can also have many types of skin related daceases that will cause hair loss and weight loss. They can have mange (or skin mites) they can have aids or leukemia. There lots of autoimmune problems cats have. That is what your picture looks like. It looks like a polydactyl cat with severe skin problems

you guys are so stupid. Just because you dont know what kind of animal it is, just because its unexplainable, you come up with all these dumb excuses. A fukin cat? Really? Look at its face. It has a long muzzle like a dog or canine. Google image a hairless cat. A fox with mange? No, it has 5 toes. No canine has 5 toes except in rare cases where it has an extra toe or two on one paw or so. (my dog has 5 toes but only on the left rear paw but it isnt close to the rest of her toes like the creature in the pics.) That 5th toe looks like its supposed to be there, if anything it looks like a pinky toe. And Im sure that when an animal has mange and it gets to the point where it scratches off its fur, it bleeds and if it gets bad enough, it looses all of its fur. That animal has a very thin layer of fur that is very fine and probably not visible unless your close to it. Also I didnt see any scabs or raw skin or blood. I cant believe its that hard for you people to believe that its a new species of animal. Maybe a chupacabra, maybe not but definitely something new. Just remember the gov. will never tell us everything that goes on in the world.
