Macy's sells coach purses. Look for a Macy coupon, you might be able to use it for the purse.

There is a coach store in fair oaks mall. I think there's one in tysons but I'm not sure

why do women get to carry purses, anyway? I have things to carry. Why can't I have a purse? Seriously tho, what is it about being a woman that makes you need to carry so much stuff around? Men don't carry a ton of stuff around. Why do women? If men and women are equal, women should be forced to quit carrying around all this stuff they don't really need. I'm sure I could find a bunch of junk to carry around with me if I tried. The point is, I don't. Because it's stupid. Just more proof that women are materialistic and they love money, and showing off money.

somewhat agree on this one. what i find odd is when women wear jeans or shorts and such, the majority will not use the pockets to carry items around. i just dont really understand that. pockets are not fashionable, nor should they be, but they are already there and should be put to use. otherwise you are just wasting your money. keep pockets alive.

Women in reality, will carry more items then men. Such items include lip stick and lip gloss, sprays, Tampax, brush, eye liners, etc. etc. Also many women will carry a portable anti-assault device like pepper spray. Women do need a purse for practical items and men should carry one too, they could keep Buck knifes or whatever they want. What's the big deal, in fact in the 70s many men carried a sort of modified purse. Misery needs to get in contact with more ladies, not cyberr girls but real flesh and blood girls. It would help him to understand the female.

I carry a book-bag - which, if I am honest with myself = a purse.

that's just silly. If a woman needs lipstick and lip gloss and eye liner with her everywhere she goes, then she's either ugly or has bad self-esteem and is insecure about her appearance. That's no reason to carry around a huge bag o' tricks with you every time you leave the house. Put the clown face on before you leave the house---if it starts to run or whatever it is makeup does, then too bad, you lose. Same with the tampax and the maxi pads. I don't carry a roll of toilet paper and a can of air freshener around with me wherever I go. If I have to take a shit, I find the nearest rest room and use whatever supplies are there on the premises to clean up after myself. Don't women's shit-houses have tampon dispensers and stuff anyway? You don't need to carry around all that crap......your bodily functions are not special.

and what can I say---if you're a woman and you get confronted in a dark alley, you're gonna get raped. Pepper spray won't help you.

I rarely wear clothing with pockets (I'm usually in a skirt or dress). When I do wear jeans, they look ridiculous stuffed with phone, ID, keys, and lip gloss. While I don't need a large purse, I need a purse.

Also, the idea of relying on public bathrooms for "sanitary" products is laughable. While some restrooms have dispensers, they are rarely refilled. Or what if I am at a friend's house? I am pretty sure my male friends don't stock tampons so that I don't need to carry a purse.

When I was younger, in HS, I always had to have a purse with me for all the stuff named above. Now that I'm older, I find a purse to be a bother. I just carry a small change purse with all the necessities, DL,CC and a little cash. We all have too much shit to deal with, why add more to deal with? I think it's better NOT to carry one. You really don't NEED one.
