What I'd really like to know from the membership of people that don't exist is this...........what's the big deal?

Why is it so important that some of you seem to live day to day scratching and scraping together cobbled files on the people that post here?

When I wake up in the morning, none of you are in bed with me. You don't go to work with me and you sure as hell aren't sitting at my dinner table at night. So why do you care so much about "me"? Not me, me but the me as in everyone that isn't you.

If I post my full name and address on here, will all (assuming there is more than one poster here besides myself) of you come to my house and kill me? Take my roll of nickels? Throw an unlit cigarette at me? Call me names to my face?

I'm just fascinated in this "AHA....I know who you are and this somehow makes me better than you" attitude.

When dinosaurs roamed the earth and all twelve internet users sitting in front of their Commodore 64's complained, they complained about lack of bandwidth and wasting space. Ironically by using all the bandwidth in doing so.

That's not an issue anymore. Cary provides us (thanks Cary) with a seemingly neutral place to discuss among other things, Fairfax County. With no limits as far as I've found so far.

The only limits I've seen are the extent that different posters will go to in order to piss each other off and "out" each other.

What part of your life is so deficient that you feel the need to practice this? If anonymous posters get out of hand, Cary bans them. His game, his ball, his rules.

I suppose my long winded point is this....if you don't come here for entertainment or information........and you do come here to argue endless about what the definition of "is" is..........is this site really keeping you from committing massive crimes against humanity by serving as an outlet?

That's what the Tim Osman and illegallyfree screen names are for. After a couple of months, inkahootz is going to edit out those posts and replace them with pics of eesh and mephisto along with personal information about them.
