I'd change it back to 50 posts per thread. It changed to 100 posts per thread about 2 years ago without explanation. I think the original forum was 25 posts.

Not a huge change, but with the advent of vid/pic posts and mobile access, smaller threads would be nice.

Loading 100 video posts in 1 thread is just stupid.

I don't know if I was around for that. I'd like to see it tried again, though. It could just be for housekeeping purposes; moderators could move things from the main forum to off-topic, combine threads, and edit posts/subject lines to add a "NSFW" tag or remove personal information. Deleting posts, banning users, locking threads, and other such things would still be left to Cary. I think it would improve the quality.

Really, I don't think any legitimate users would complain. If someone wanted to stop posting here because their dickishness is being edited out, would it really be a huge loss?

Sub-moderators (appointed by the admin) always play favorites (because they're selected from the existing posters), and go on power trips.

More moderators would just mean that Cary would have to moderate the moderators in addition to the board itself -- because every strong decision a moderator made would be controversial with some, who would complain to Cary, who would then have to sort it out.

In short, multiplying moderators would make things worse, not better.

That would achieve exactly jackshit. You can register a new name in less than a minute.

Not accurate at all. My friends were there and they called us to meet up. Afterwards we went to Carpool.

is it true that Inkahootz is no longer allowed in the Pub because he smashed a bunch of beer bottles behind the bar one night while he was out of control drunk, like totally flipping out in a drunken rage. i heard they threw him out and told him never to come back in there.

The PUB barred Patrick because they are trying to change their loser image and to do that they need to bar the losers, like Patrick. Oh, and he owed them money. And they hate Tapout tshirts.

Look dude, here's the math of the situation:

1. You say you're going to keep trolling until eesh deletes something, but guess what? Your name and information will never, ever leave this site for good. Everytime you come back and start attacking one or two people, we all know it's you. Your efforts to have information removed from this site only cause people to re-post said information and expose you to a whole new crop of people. The only way people are ever going to forget about you is if you go away long enough to let them.

Cary already deletes full names and pictures, so for the life of me, I can't figure out why you care so much. I didn't send you threats and ultimatums over PM when you posted my shit all over this site.

2. I know with 100% certainty there are more than a few people trolling you. They are not all eesh. All you're doing by posting this obnoxious is making more people dislike you who will, in reference to point 1, troll you as well.

3. The only way this shit is ever going to end is if you be a man, PM eesh, and try to squash this somehow, without telling him what he must and must not do. If you don't, I guarantee that people will "have your name in their mouth" as long as this site exists. Take Chuckhoffmann, for instance: how often does anyone talk about him until he starts posting again?

4. If eesh is ever going to feel inclined to help you with whatever you're crying about, calling him a fag in every thread is probably not going to make him sympathetic to your plight.

i would add a "ignore by IP" option for filtering out anonymous trolls. basically, i would make so that registered users dont have to wade through all the bullshit that the bored children bring to the site.

I actually like this idea. The signal to noise ratio here is super low.
