brushing your cat's teeth

I know you're supposed to brush your dog's teeth. What about cats? Do they make cat toothpaste? My cat has bad breath. What should I do? How do I get her to stay still while I brush her teeth? She won't let me trim her nails. She clicks when she walks on the linoleum floor.

It took the entire family just to give my cat a pill, and the one holding her had to use leather gloves. My new cat might be a little more tame, but brushing her teeth seems like a no-win situation. I've trimmed cat's nails before, and that was hard enough.

I suggest the Alexandria Animal Hospital at 2660 Duke Street. You can make an appointment to get the cat's teeth cleaned and nails trimmed at the same time. The only easy way to get the teeth done properly is with a tranqualizer and someone who knows what they are doing. You could probably snip the nails on your own if you find the secret pressure pad that expands the natural web. DON'T cut too low or it will be very painful for the cat. If you have a pissed off cat and you can't hold her much to get her groomed properly, the fact still remains that your pussy needs to be groomed! Just take her to a groomer once a month and they will also help you with tips for getting your cat to sit her ass still while you brush her chops.
